AZ Sen. Martha McSally: If you want to win in 2020, show us

Partnering with Dem presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand on “doping” is dopey

Sen. McSally,

You are facing ideological leftist Mr. Gabby Giffords aka Mark Kelly, whose 2020 senate campaign is being infused with cash by multi-billionaire Socialist George Soro‘s Act Blue.

Although the Hillary-endorsing Arizona Republic refers to you as “Arizona’s most reliable vote for Trump’s agenda,” realize that as the backhanded wallop it was intended to be. The newspaper will not endorse you.

Mark Levin’s Conservative Review is less than enthusiastic giving you a Liberty Score of D, or 67% — nothing short of unacceptable, if you’re attempting to win over the conservative voters you need.

Giffords/Kelly, a hypocritical Second Amendment restrictionist and open border fan, is chomping at the bit to replace you…which brings us to the topic of horses. With Arizona’s sieve-like southern border serving as a major point of entry for illegal aliens — foreign nationals from Central America and Mexico, but also as far removed from our hemisphere as Africa, India and points beyond — you have ready-made topics which resonate with the Republican base. Mexican border towns abutting Cochise County, Arizona are war zones with dozens slaughtered as casualties of the drug cartels.

Instead, for some inexplicable reason, you chose to address the topic ofrace horse doping.’ We oppose doping of any sort, especially when it comes to the electorate. Cozying up with New York Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand on this issue is pure folly. In the race of your life, she is also running — for the Democrat nomination to unseat Republican President Donald Trump.

Remember him? He’s our GOP standard bearer not a prop you stand beside when you think the photo-op serves your purposes. Emulating John McCain is a mistake. His modus operandi was colluding with Democrats from Ted Kennedy to Chuck Schumer, which was a major reason he was censured by elected GOP state committeemen at the Jan. 25, 2014 Statutory Republican Meeting.

When you lost the U.S. Senate to chameleon Kyrsten Sinema, it sent shock waves. You then became the recipient of a rare, follow-up gubernatorial appointment to an open seat. That opportunity will not present itself again. If you don’t fight to retain that Senate seat, your do-over days will be over and Arizona will be represented by a deep blue senate duo.

You were a fighter pilot and the first female commander of a combat fighter squadron. Act like it.

Your sole focus should be on supporting the President and his winning issues. The Dems will forget they knew you when you no longer serve their purposes. If you believe in bi-partisanship, you obviously still believe in Santa and the tooth fairy. Bi-partisanship is a noble goal in the legislative process, but it only exists if Republicans acquiesce and move leftward. There is no reciprocity from the Dems. Gillibrand has gone from supporting restrictions on illegals to now calling for the abolishment of ICE. You’re from Tucson, Martha. How’s that border working out for you?

King Colluder John McCain preferred to be known as a maverick,” to conceal the collaborator he was. Those shenanigans won’t win you Democrat votes when you are facing radical leftist and Obama pal, Mr. Gabby Giffords/Mark Kelly. You need the conservative electorate to turn out, but you won’t get us by partnering with Trump’s presidential challenger, far-left Kirsten Gillibrand. Like your opponent, Mr. Giffords/Kelly, Gillibrand is supported by ActBlue. Individual contributions through ActBlue are easily accessed on the Federal Election Commission website.

Your strategy, Martha, amounts to a personal and GOP death wish. The rest of us relish life and having Donald Trump as president.

  1. Mike says:

We’re tired of Mc-RINOs who act like Dems under the assumption they can get away with it just because they’re ex-military. Time to primary this latest Mc and replace her with a real conservative.

    • Seen It All says:

I agree with you, Mike. The problem is it’s late to be getting in. Top consultants are already hired and fundraising is underway. GOP House members Biggs, Gosar and Schweikert are staying put and a newcomer would be at a steep disadvantage.

We’re stuck. The only route is to try to whip her into shape, which SRAZ alone appears to be dedicated to, though it likely won’t matter. McSally is clearly taking advice from the old McCain crowd. Jon Kyl pushed Ducey to appoint her and she hired novice politico Steve Shadegg as her consultant during her losing senate campaign. It’s all incestual. And incest is not only criminal, it results in a defective gene pool.

  2. East Valley Conservative says:

Who’s advising McSally’s campaign? Does anyone know who her “strategist” is? Whoever it is should be fired immediately! McSally is not my concern. The future of our state is.

  3. Saguaro Sam says:

Having any association with far-left Kirsten Gillibrand (D) (NY), who is running in 2020 against President Trump, is troubling.

McSally ought to be watching the trial up in NY of the NXIVM sex cult. Gillibrand’s family is connected. (plus ties to the Clintons).
Information brought forth via testimony and video evidence during the trial last week made some members of the jury cry.

McSally’s sisters-in-action have been causing some problems, too.

    This is a Gem:

    And another:
The U.S. Air Force Academy has removed its commandant of cadets amid an investigation, but officials didn’t release any details.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reported Monday that Brig. Gen. Kristin Goodwin was relieved from her duties as head of military training at the school.
(She was apparently moved to the Pentagon—with her wife).

Closets full of skeletons in the swamp.

    • Observer says:

Thanks for the information, Sam. It’s sordid but needs to be aired.

When Sally McCain (a fitting name) ran the first time, she used the term “Grow a pair of ovaries,” in a failed attempt to sound tough. Though she sounded coarse and crude, she needs to take her own advice!

  4. Patriot Mom says:

For Martha McSally to partner on this horse doping issue with Kirsten Gillibrand, a Democrat who is challenging Pres. Trump, strikes me as beyond undermining the president.. Where is her allegiance and why the mixed signals? She was more than happy to have him endorse her.

Who does she consider her base? She’s doing all she can to lose me.

  5. Michael Schmitz says:

    Well said, Seeing Red Az.

  6. Frankly Speaking says:

Ducey appointed McSally to the senate vacancy. Now she’s acting as though that seat doesn’t matter. He needs to call her in for a face-to-face “chat.” It appears to me she’s giving this AZ senate seat away. The 2020 election just fills out the final two years of McCain’s unexpired term. Then she’ll have to run again. If she wins against the even worse Mr. Giffords, who will trust her? She’s got to turn this erratic trajectory around…ASAP!!

  7. Arizona Conservative Guy says:

Martha McSally is not only disloyal to President Trump, she’s kicking those of us who voted for him and support him, in the teeth. What voter base is she aiming for?

    • Tucson GOP says:

Couldn’t have said it better myself. That’s the question she should be asked if she ever holds a town hall. although she appears to stay clear of having to interact with us.

  8. jake sez says:

You are barking up the wrong tree. You can do whatever you want to “change” her for this election but the six years of her new term she will be another John McCain. Don’t believe you can make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. Draft Biggs. That is the only answer this late in the game.

    • Kimball says:

U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs is a superb congressman, intelligent, faith based and articulate. He routinely appears on FOX News and is conversant with the issues. I’d be thrilled to see him challenge McSally, but I suspect the chances are low. He holds a safe seat, and challenging a colleague is always tricky.

    • State Delegate says:

McSally has never been a conservative, which is why McCain cohort Jon Kyl recommended her to fellow McCain chum Gov. Ducey. We’ve been “had” by Republicrats as regularly as by Dems. Unlike US House seats, Senate terms are six years long. And as in the case of McCain. once in office they become entrenched. Too many people vote for familiar sounding names not knowing what they stand for or the damage they do. That was the case with McCain.

    • Clementine says:

When the far left local newspaper salivates over a politician as they did and still do over John McCain, it’s time to be on high alert. Only leftists or RINOs rate that treatment from the open borders newspaper…regardless of the costs to taxpayers and our society.

  9. PV PC says:

Excellent post, SRAZ. I hope Martha McSally reads it.
