Associated Press out of the BDS anti-Israel closet

This deceptive Associated Press headline, “Israel bans entry to outspoken US congresswomen,” should have read, “Israel bans entry to virulently anti-Semitic US congresswomen.”  The intentionally misleading word parsing clearly displays the media’s skewed bent, which it no longer attempts to conceal.

Far-left freshmen Democrats Reps. Rashida Tlaib (MI) and Ilhan Omar (MN), both Muslim members of congress, support the Palestinian-led BDS movement which advocates boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israeli businesses, products, universities and cultural institutions.

National Review recently headlined its revealing report:Omar to Introduce Resolution Declaring Support for Anti-Israel BDS Movement.” On Thursday Omar ludicrously accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of imposing a “Muslim ban,” declaring, “It is an affront that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, under pressure from President Trump, would deny entry to representatives of the U.S. government.”

Arizona Sen. Martha McSally, who prior to retiring from the Air Force as a full Colonel, was deployed in the Middle East and supports President Trump’s resolve on the issue.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who said his country is “open to critics and criticism,” noted that Tlaib and Omar’s itinerary for the trip “revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy.”

Omar, who PJ Media reported engaged in a marriage with her own brother to perpetrate immigration and student loan fraud, irrationally stated, “Trump’s Muslim ban is what Israel is implementing, this time against two duly elected members of Congress.”

The women, members of what has been described as the congressional “Squad,” routinely refer to the sole democracy in the Middle East in the most derogatory of terms, and, for good measure, condemn President Trump. Omitted from their anti-Semitic tirade is the inconvenient fact that since the formation of the state of Israel in 1948, there have been Arabic members of the Knesset, the legislative body similar to the U.S. Congress. They have been Muslim, Druze, and Christian.

The U.S. ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, endorsed the decision to ban Tlaib and Omar, saying Israel “has every right to protect its borders” against promoters of boycotts.

It’s been announced that Rashida Tlaib has canceled her trip. She’s contorted her scheme by saying Israel was making it difficult for her to visit her 90-year-old Palestinian grandmother, when the entire trip she planned with Ilhan Omar was to support the Palestinian-led boycott of Israel.

Israel’s Interior Minister approved Rashida Tlaib for a “humanitarian visit” with her 90-year-old grandmother.

After milking the issue for all it was worth, she decided not to take the trip. Obviously, Grandma means a whole lot less than negative publicity Tlaib hoped to generate.

  2. Maggie says:

I wonder when Tlaib last visited Grandma. It seems she must have been kept busy campaigning and taking care of her congressional duties. This interestingly timed Grandma rationale has a rancid smell.

    • Kathy says:

Maggie: Just like Obama using his dying Grandmother during his campaign. These people are disqusting!! Be aware they always expose themselves if people will take time to see.

white grandmama was not “sick” until the issue of the birth cert came up suddenly, white grandmama was in hospice care.

So ill, and yet Michelle and the 2 girls (you believe they are bio daughters?)) had no time to jet to Hawaii?

He went and within 24 hours her death was announced publicly.

  3. Frankly Speaking says:

Even the far left Washington Post reported that Somali-born Ilhan Omar, who benefited mightily from being able to immigrate to the United States with her parents, called America “a broken promise.” It headlines a report about her, with the words, “Ilhan Omar’s American story: It’s complicated.’

“Complicated”?? Most immigrants, especially from war-torn hell holes like Somalia, are grateful for the opportunity to become Americans.

Former Israeli Prime Minister said it best years ago:

“We will only have peace with [the Arabs] when they love their children more than they hate us…”

It was as though she predicted the rise of haters Tlaib and Ihan. Also Orcasio -Cortez.

  4. Saguaro Sam says:

Omar’s “religion” condemns such acts as being married to her brother.
At least on paper it is condemned.

Never forget that it is written over and over again in their “holy book” that it is A-OK to lie and do other stuff to the infidels (us).

    Meanwhile,

The Philadelphia guy who shot 6 police officers and held the city hostage for hours is a member of a radical mosque in Philly.
    ————–Nation of Islam—————–.
All of the women and young girls who were escorted out of that dwelling were all dressed in the garb.

You probably did not see the video of the peeps in that neighborhood called Nicetown-Tioga. They were spitting on police officers; cursing them, and shoving them during the hours that this went on.

The mosque is supposed to be sponsoring a “march against the police” today.

Depending on your age, you may or may not remember the late 1960s and early 1970s when the Black Panthers were causing major problems in cities like Philly; Baltimore, and L.A.

They’re never happy. But very “entitled”.

    Question:
Why do more than 30 current members of Congress hold dual passports?
    Israeli passports and U.S. passports.
(Gabby Giffords is/was a double dipper)

Maybe in case they have to get outta Dodge.

Say what you like but Israel stays real close to the USA not because they especially like us but for protection. They have spied on the USA twice that we know of and probably more than that. That said, Israel should have the right to defend themselves. Even against elected officials, which does not mean those elected officials are mental giants.

    • Braveheart says:

Israel is the ONLY Democracy in the entire region. Pres. Trump and Netanyahu are friends. It was Obama who made Netanyahu use the back entrance and had him wait and wait for their scheduled WH meeting.
