Deity McCain worship continues at AZ Republic

August 24, 2019

Cindy McCain proposes Arizonans develop amnesia and “Celebrate Sen. John McCain’s life of civility…”

The Hillary-endorsing, viciously anti-Trump Arizona Republic newspaper has a tough time with death, even hiding local obituaries inside the “Sports” section. Its own imminent demise was given a reprieve when parent company Gannett was recently bought by GateHouse, in a time stalling measure before the declining newsosaur finally turns its toes skyward. The infusion of oxygen allows the incredibly shrinking, far-left newspaper to continue its grief-laden tributes to John McCain. The foul-mouthed Republican pretender died August 25, 2018 at his Cornville, AZ compound.

These headlines, (more articles are sure to follow), some including large photos, all appear in the latest online and hard copy editions:

Separately, Cindy McCain sent out this email, headlined, “Celebrating Senator John McCain’s life of civility and service.” Whitewashed are his vulgar tirades and renown spews of vile cursing and threats. John McCain was known for many things — civility was not one of them.

Dear Friends –

This Sunday, August 25, our family will celebrate the life of my husband, Senator John McCain. It has been a year since he passed. Like many of you, I miss his voice of reason, sense of humor and commitment to our country.

John never backed down from a fight and wasn’t shy about speaking his mind. However, he always maintained the utmost respect for his affectionately dubbed “sparring partners.” It is with this spirit of civil discourse and bi-partisan collaboration in mind that my family and I plan to mark the anniversary of John’s passing by engaging in #ActsOfCivility. John’s commitment to civility and serving causes greater than ourselves was unwavering and something we must not abandon without him.

You can help our family honor John by engaging in an act of civility of your own sometime between Sunday, August 25, and Friday, August 30, and posting about it on your favorite social media platform using #ActsOfCivility. Your act can be as simple as an act of compassion or service or something more meaningful like opening a new dialogue with a competitor or family member with whom you regularly disagree. You can follow our campaign on Twitter or Instagram at @CindyMcCain, @McCainJack and @McCainInstitute. To help spread the word, please like or re-post the content on these channels beginning August 21. And for some fun, check out our Snapchat filter celebrating John and send a snap to your friends on August 25.

Finally, encourage your friends, family and members of your community to participate as well. We can accomplish great things from a place of common ground.

Warmly,

Shazam! AZ Regents gift illegals college tuition break & Update featuring Ducey response

August 23, 2019

Chicanery on display as ABOR manipulate tuition, disregard law

The Arizona Board of Regents is an assemblage boasting an august moniker and eight-year terms — longer than any elected official — including the President of the United States.

Working sub-rosa, they take their grandiose title seriously, using it to magically reconfigure illegals into “non-residents.”

With a bit of “Abracadabra” dust sprinkled over our tax dollars, the Regents just pulled a new rabbit out of its collective hat. They unanimously voted Thursday that the three Arizona universities (ASU, UofA and NAU) will charge illegal alien students a non-resident tuition rate that is less expensive than the out-of-state rate they previously were expected to pay.

Notice the coy language used to describe the illegals:

“A student who graduated from an Arizona high school, but who is not otherwise eligible for resident tuition status….”

Even Merlin would have trouble figuring that jargon out, but it’s perfectly coherent to the mystical Regents.

Bottom line? What the Regents voted to approve gives significant tuition breaks to illegal aliens. Your Arizona-born niece who was raised in California but will be attending ASU will have to pay considerably more than an illegal invader.

It also flies in the face of Proposition 300, overwhelmingly passed by Arizona citizens in 2006 — by a vote of 71.4% to 28.6% — and clearly defines, “a state university or community college student who is not a United States citizen and who does not otherwise possess lawful immigration status in this country is not entitled to waivers, grants or any other financial assistance paid in whole or part with state funds.”

Previous to the Regents’ action, illegal aliens attending our state schools had to pay about $30,000, the out-of-state tuition rate. Now with the Regent’s sleight of hand chicanery, they will only pay about half that amount, approximately $16,000.  That’s only $5,000 more than the in-state, American citizen student base rate of $11,000.

Who do you think makes up the difference?

SRAZ’s April 2019 post,Scandal rocks AZ State University, Pres. Michael Crow slides,” provides additional information about ASU President Michael Crow, the nation’s highest paid public university president. Although not mentioned by the generous Regents, he has been an unwavering advocate for elevating illegals over Arizona’s citizen students.

Waiting a week to address this preposterous gifting of our tax dollars to fund tuition discounts to illegal aliens, Arizona’s lame duck Gov. Doug Ducey emerges to applaud the Regent’s generosity. Channeling his political mentor, John McCain, Ducey warmly states, “Somebody who graduates from an Arizona high school is an Arizona kid.”

Remember that when he seeks higher office.

Pres. Trump to challenge birthright citizenship

August 22, 2019

In an unprecedented move, the sham of “birth tourism” is also being targeted

What do Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, Guatemala, Honduras, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago have in common with the United States? Not much, except they are among the 30 countries that offer birthright citizenship to anyone born to parents who are in those counties, legally or not.  Exceptions are foreign diplomats and wartime enemies.

Citizens of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras are those who have been caravanning by the hundreds of thousands, illegally invading the United States, which brings disrepute to their laissez-faire policies. No one wants in and their citizens want out.

President Trump’s announced on Tuesday that he is preparing an executive order to end birthright citizenship. His action will face legal challenges, but he stands on solid ground.

These nations repealed Birthright Citizenship in recent years:  Australia (2007), New Zealand (2005), Ireland (2005), France (1993), India (1987), Malta (1989), United Kingdom (1983), and Portugal (1981). Numbers USA has the complete list.

Here in the United States our policy regarding citizenship is found in the Fourteenth Amendment, enacted following the Civil War in 1868. Its honorable intent was to provide citizenship to freed African-born slaves and their American-born children.

Hans A. von Spakovsky a Senior Legal Fellow at the Heritage Foundation and a former Justice Department official addresses the issue in this clarifying article,Birthright Citizenship — A Fundamental Misunderstanding of the 14th Amendment.”

He writes that American Indians and their children did not become citizens until Congress passed the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, clarifying that citizenship by birth was not automatically conferred. Integral to the Fourteen Amendment are the key words, “a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Those in the United states illegally do not meet that threshold, since they are subject to the laws of their own counties.

President Trump, noting that congress has failed to act, has also announced that he is taking action to close the loopholes fueling the crisis on our border, Read his complete statement.

The following statistics are included in his fact sheet:

The number of family unit aliens apprehended at the southern border has skyrocketed in recent years.

Family unit apprehensions have spiked from just 14,855 in fiscal year (FY) 2013 to 432,838 so far this FY – an increase of more than 2,800 percent.

More than 430,000 family unit aliens have been apprehended at the southern border so far in FY 2019 – a more than 300 percent jump from all of last FY.

There have been more family unit aliens apprehended at the southern border in the last three months – 184,000 – than all of last FY.

Not only is President Trump addressing birthright citizenship, he has begun unprecedented crackdowns on “birth tourism,” where thousands of affluent pregnant foreign women travel to the United States to give birth ensuring American citizenship for their children. They pay $multi-thousands to brokers who arrange their travel documents, accommodations, entertainment, shopping sprees and hospital stays.

SRAZ has addressed the widespread practice for nearly a decade:

2010: Anchor babies and “birth tourism” making the news.”

2012:Birth tourism alive and well.”

2013:  Illegal immigration: The missing components.”

2018:  Pres. Trump takes aim at Birthright Citizenship.”

Joe Biden’s wife takes cue from McCain’s mother

August 21, 2019

Jill Biden advises Dems to “swallow a little bit,” not to look for the best candidate, but one who can “beat Trump”

John McCain was a distinctly unpopular presidential candidate in both 2000 and 2008. Like Bob Dole, who also lost his bid in 1996, the longtime senators — misreading the Republican base — considered the presidency their “due.”

In 2008, John’s mother, Roberta McCain, became known for her advice to reticent voters, essentially recommending, “Hold your nose and vote for Johnny.”

Fast forward to 2019. Speaking of her gaffe-prone husband, perennial presidential candidate Joe Biden, Jill Biden gave a bizarre reason for supporting him in the crowded Democrat primary election field. Biden unsuccessfully sought the presidency in 1988 and 2008.

“I know that not all of you are committed to my husband, and I respect that. But I want you to think about your candidate and who’s going to win this race.”

Dispensing an unusual bit of candor, Jill Biden also said that Democrats’ goals should not be to elect the best person for president, but to defeat Trump.

“My goal is to beat Donald Trump,” Mrs. Biden said. “We have to have someone who can beat him. So if you look at the polls, if you look at Joe with his record with independents…your candidate might be better on, I don’t know, health care than Joe is. But you’ve got to look at who’s going to win this election. And maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, ‘OK, I personally like so-and-so better,’ but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump.”

AZ jury awards Planned Parenthood informant $3M

August 20, 2019

Victory for life in Arizona!

It’s always been mystifying that a group that exists primarily to slaughter pre-born human babies could call itself Planned Parenthood. The abhorrent concept is analogous to Auschwitz, a notorious Nazi death camp, blandly referring to itself a care center.

There is some good news, however, concerning the abortion mill. LifeSiteNews reports:

An Arizona jury has unanimously awarded $3 million in damages to a former Planned Parenthood director who was fired after reporting an abortionist’s illegal conduct and high complication rates, falsification of affidavits and patient records, incomplete abortions, and failure to report statutory rape.

Mayra Rodriguez, who ran three Planned Parenthood clinics in Arizona and worked for the organization for 17 years, sued after being wrongfully terminated from her position in October 2017 for repeatedly reporting that Planned Parenthood was endangering the health and safety of its patients, according to And Then There Were None (ATTWN), a non-profit that helps former abortion workers leave the industry.

Rodriguez’ lawyer, Tim Casey, hadn’t asked the jury for any dollar amount during the trial. Yet after only three hours of deliberation, the jury unanimously awarded her $3 million in damages following the two-week trial, which ended last Friday, August 16, 2019.

Bryan Howard, president of Planned Parenthood Arizona, was reported to be “disappointed” with the verdict.

Just like Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood director turned pro-life advocate, Rodriguez won Employee of the Year the year before she left. Johnson now runs ATTWN.

“I’ve stared down Planned Parenthood in court. I know how hard it is watching your friends lie about you,” said Johnson. “It’s always good to take down Planned Parenthood but it’s not without hurt.”

Johnson’s conversion story is told in the movie. “Unplanned,” which as of August 7, 2019 made $18.9 million after being produced with a $6 million budget, according to boxofficemojo.com. The movie just became available on DVD and was the top selling film on Amazon on the day of its release.

“When Mayra came to And Then There Were None with her incredible story, I felt solidarity with her, having gone through a similar situation when I worked for Planned Parenthood. Standing with her through the trial and rejoicing in the ultimate victory has been amazing,” said Johnson.

The abuses Rodriguez documented are serious. Complications from abortions can result in severe, permanent health problems for women — even death. Incomplete abortions can similarly cause serious health problems for the mothers in whose uteruses parts of their aborted unborn babies are left. ATTWN didn’t specify how old the minor was whose sexual relationship with an adult Planned Parenthood covered up, but the age of consent in Arizona is 18.

And Then There Were None, is a ministry founded by Abby Johnson that has helped more than 500 abortion workers leave their jobs.

Abby Johnson will be the keynote speaker at the next Arizona for Life March & Rally on January 18, 2020. Find out more about Arizona’s biggest pro-life event here.

Drag Queen Story Hour: Libraries dedicated to corruption of our kids

August 19, 2019

Perversion being taught as the new normal to America’s children

Remember when libraries were havens for learning and study? In school we learned the Dewey Decimal System of cataloging, to read for pleasure and to expand our base of knowledge. Libraries, whether city owned or housed in our schools, provided a window to the world.

Today that window reeks of lunacy and is steeped in perversion. The American Library Association (ALA) through its Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) division, including the Intellectual Freedom Committee, promotes “continuing education programs” for children. The ALA provides guidelines on promoting this depraved agenda.

This American Library Association link and quote is today’s new reality:

Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions…”

That paragraph is an example from the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) self identified as “a network of more than 4,000 children’s and youth librarians, children’s literature experts, publishers, education and library school faculty members, and other adults committed to improving and ensuring the future of the nation through exemplary library service to children.”

Interested in bringing Drag Queen Story Time to your library? At its annual convention, ALSC committee members “received tips for optimizing success from library pioneers who have already done it. We also had the chance to meet a Drag Queen who talked about the value of offering this program, including fostering empathy, tolerance, creativity, imagination and fun.”

This video features very young children being indoctrinated by a man dressed as a woman, teaching them about “gender fluidity.” The children, not more than toddlers, come away from the indoctrination thinking that the story was about “being nice to other people.”

Parents and grandparents must pay attention. This is not the world in which we grew up. Leftism carries a disturbed agenda that includes more than radical politics.

Anti-Trump press gears up for 2020 election

August 17, 2019

Media afflicted by Trump Derangement Syndrome

Editor & Publisher provides an inside look at how the press intends to cover the 2020 Presidential election.

The pathetic 2019 quarterbacking report is filled with recriminations over not giving enough significance to Donald Trump’s emergence on the political scene and the press’ assumptions that he was nothing more than an annoying gnat on the backside of the anointed donkey-rider Hillary Clinton.

Absent is the fact that American citizens were energized by his MAGA message and fed up with scandal-plagued Hillary, who arrogantly dismissed us as a “basket of deplorables.” The equally arrogant press’ most colossal blunder was misreading the electorate, whom they regarded as easily duped by their incessant left-wing coverage.

Realizations of the massive awakening across America was a pill too difficult to swallow. Voters heard a compelling message from the political novice New York businessman. There was an unmistakable authentic clarity to his message.  Hillary’s fate was sealed as reports trickled out of her involvement in the destruction of thousands of emails when they were under congressional subpoena and preservation orders. A practiced charlatan, she blatantly lied about the attacks resulting in the deaths of four Americans, including the U.S. Ambassador, at the embassy in Benghazi, Libya. Prior to the Presidential debate, her cohort Donna Brazile — a political strategist and former DNC chair — using her position as a CNN commentator, fed the questions in advance to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. These are merely tip-of-the-iceberg corruptions in which Hillary engaged.

Meanwhile Donald Trump was building a loyal base raising the issues that resonate with Americans from coast to coast. Since being elected he has gone to work fulfilling his promises and has overseen the lowest unemployment rates in decades. The economy is soaring and he’s nominated two justices to the U.S. Supreme Court and many others to the federal district benches.

Editor & Publisher erroneously concludes, “Disillusioned voters blamed the press for a failure to present Trump as a viable nominee, let alone as their likely future president. Some declared that journalists missed the story of the Trump voter entirely.”

The publication either doesn’t comprehend the enormity of President Trump’s energized base or chooses to ignore it. Despite the leftist press’ irrational excuses, and predictions to the contrary, Americans won  (video) and will again in 2020.
