Trump impeachment driven by specter of Ruthless Court

Political left working feverishly to beat the clock on Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Democrats are no longer confined to reeling over the lopsided election results of Nov. 8, 2016 that put Donald Trump in the White House. The ongoing stellar economic news, with the lowest unemployment in decades and continuing escalating markets haven’t assuaged them. They are on a concerted mission to remove him from office.

Leftists are willing to do or say anything to destroy President Trump and invalidate his election.  When allegations of collusion with Russia didn’t pan out, they tried hanging China around his neck. The desperate Dems are now focused on nefarious dealings with the Ukraine, when it’s Papa Joe and son Hunter Biden’s underhanded, but exceedingly lucrative antics that should be grabbing their attention.

The opposition party’s sole focus is removing our duly elected president from power with whatever allegation sticks.

Since his election President Trump has been diligent about filling federal judicial vacancies. In scrupulous detail, the Heritage Foundation’s Judicial Appointment Tracker compares Presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush and Ronald Reagan as of November 7, of each president’s third year. The total appointments to date follow their names. As you scroll through the well-researched compilation of information, pay particular attention to the recent trend to vote against confirmation of Trump’s nominees.

Which brings us to the core issue. President Trump has had the opportunity to make two appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court: Neil Gorsuch (in 2017) and Brett Kavanaugh (in 2018). Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a former ACLU lawyer appointed by Bill Clinton is 86 years old and has serious medical conditions. The Dems are terrified of Trump making a third appointment to the high court. A speedy impeachment is their desperate route to keep that from happening. Earlier this year, Ginsburg missed a month of Supreme Court arguments as she recovered from lung cancer surgery. She suffered broken ribs in a fall last November and has been treated for both colon and pancreatic cancer. She was caught soundly sleeping during the State of the Union address. Rather than admit she has trouble staying alert, the octogenarian chose to say “I wasn’t 100 percent sober.”

This stunning admission came from Justice Ginsburg herself in 2012. SRAZ titled the post, “US Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg: Unfit to serve.”

Know this. Undergirding the left’s continual onslaught of baseless allegations driving the impeachment of the President of the United States is the Supreme Court. The Dems are in desperation mode trying to beat the clock on Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

61.7 million pre-born babies have been MURDERED in the United States since Roe v. Wade. Trump may well be part of God’s plan to reverse this travesty. And these Dems could well be tools of Satan in his fight to continue the carnage.

    • Paul says:

Mike, you are exactly correct. And Rowe v. Wade will be overturned, with Justice Thomas driving the stake through that wicked decision. God hears the prayers of his saints.

  2. Arizona Conservative Guy says:

SRAZ has hit on the key issue driving the democrats. They can’t stand the fact that Pres Trump is doing his job and filling crucial judicial vacancies. The Supreme Court is their over arching concern, more than any of the economic issues that affect the daily lives of Americans.

    Spot on SRAZ!

It’s a pity that vicious bloody national politics comes down to the Big Court and abortion.

The Democrats will stop at nothing to remove what they consider impediments in their way to bringing Socialism to this country. The agenda is already underway in American schools where the dues paying members of the radically left unions are indoctrinating American students each and every day.

Gov, Ducey made a huge mistake in falling for their con. They don’t deserve pay increases, they should have been replaced! Pres. Reagan did that with the striking Air Traffic Controllers unionists and the country did not come to a standstill.

My thoughts exactly. If I could do it I would abolish government so-called “education” entirely. It’s high time for control of education to be taken out of the hands of government and put back in the hands of parents via school CHOICE to foster competition and force schools and teachers to EARN their pay on their own merits. Just had another government-schools override rammed down my throat and believe me I will never, ever vote for a school tax AS LONG AS I LIVE.

Arizona Supreme Court Justices have a mandatory retirement at age 70.

If the U.S. Supreme Court had a similar provision allowing justices to retain their seat until age 75, that would make sense to me. Ginsburg at 86, even without all of the serious ailments she has, cannot possibly be doing the best possible job. No doubt her clerks do the bulk of the work and her colleagues provide cover for her.

    We, the people, deserve better.

Because partisan presidents make SCOTUS and federal district judicial appointments, the political parties do not want to leave the possibility open that a president of the opposing party gets an automatic opportunity to appoint justices.

What surprised many legal observers is that Ginsburg didn’t retire during Obama’s administration giving him the ability to name her replacement. Her egotistical desire to remain a major player was too great, although her capacity has certainly diminished.
