Trump Triumphs: Impeachment backfires on Dems, Romney

Spiteful Mitt Romney is the only senator in U.S. history to support convicting a president from his own party — voting to convict on abuse of power and acquit on obstruction of justice

The Democrats farcical impeachment of President Donald Trump has fallen on its own sword. A wild miscalculation, the scheme never resonated with American voters who understood that congress devoted its laser-like concentration on taking down a president whose election they abhorred, rather than conducting the business they were elected to do. Scandal-plagued Hillary Clinton’s 2016 massive loss was so unimaginable to the left, they were out for retribution, even if it meant ignoring the voters and attempting to deny them their choice again in 2020.

Democrats and their Republicrat cronies worship at the altar of their most beloved deity: the one they see in their mirrors.

Embittered Utah Sen. Mitt Romney was the only GOP senator voting to convict President Trump. He had nothing good to say about candidate Trump — calling him “a phony, a fraud…who’s playing the American public for suckers” and “If we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished.”

His irrational prognostications have been proven exceedingly wrong. Trump’s administration has overseen unparalleled successes. Yet who can forget that that after Trump’s election, Romney came begging for appointment as Secretary of State, a position he did not secure.

In voting to convict President Trump, Romney cloaked himself in religiosity, claiming, “I’m profoundly religious and swore an oath before God.”

Slickster Romney’s calling on faith is peculiar in light of his recent Twitter scandal. He was exposed asPierre Delecto,” on an anonymous burner account he used to disparage Trump and support comments made on his own official account.

Mitt Romney, an itinerant politician and nominal Republican, has the rare distinction of being the pro-abortion Governor of Massachusetts, a losing presidential candidate and now a Utah senator. “Romneycare, his insurance mandate in Massachusetts set the stage for Obamacare. His waffling on social issues showed him to be a coreless opportunist.

This was President Trump’s explosive tweet

Never forget a vote for Daniel McCarthy (Who is barely raising any money and has $30,000 COH which is pathetic) is a vote for Mark Kelly!

I think you are just baiting me again, but I’ll bite. The primary election is where we get to choose who wins the party nomination to go against the other party. I personally feel that McSally can’t win against Kelly no matter how much money she gathers into her coffers and that is why I am searching for an alternative.

I am starting to question my promise to support the winner of the primary if this is too complicated for many of you to follow.

        Jake,
Of course the Primary Election is where voters of the same party have the opportunity to vote for the one who they think can beat the opposition. This is not rocket science, but it requires a unified effort towards the “best” candidate. Best rarely translates to ideal on all facets, and requires making often difficult, informed choices.

US Senator Martha McSally formerly served in congress. She has an excellent educational background (US Naval Academy vs. high school grad McCarthy) and a unmatched military background. McCarthy never served. She is not warm and cuddly, but she is smart and most importantly has the endorsement of President Trump.

Mark Kelly and his wife, former AZ Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who have founded anti-Second Amendment groups, is receiving funding from Socialist George Soros and is promoting himself as the former astronaut that he is. That’s how John Glenn, McCain’s Keating Five cohort, won in Ohio.

Money that McSally is forced to spend in a Primary will leave her much less to run a successful campaign against far left Kelly, who is also a friend of the Obama’s, who will fund raise on his behalf.

You are intentionally obscuring the much bigger picture.

Have you watched these two segments featuring McCarthy? He’s definitely not ready for prime time. Any question he doesn’t want to answer, he refers to as “irrelevant.”

      • Dennis O'Brien says:

Why so quiet, Jake? After watching this televised interview (that he requested) do you really think Daniel McCarthy is up to the job of US Senator? He’s so oblivious to his own deficits that he even asks the host to invite him back. Watch it.

Mitt Flopney has always been a loser and is now just MORE of a loser. (A PET ROCK would have had enough intelligence to beat B. Hussein in ’16, and yet Mitt couldn’t do it – what does that tell us?)

Hope Mitt is happy with having to live in Utah for the rest of his political life, because it’s the only place in America where he will have a ghost of a chance of being (re)elected to any political office ever again.

    • East Valley Conservative says:

Good observation!! That’s how how his RINO doppelganger Jeff the Flake was able to get reelected, until even his East Valley co-religionists finally had their fill of him, his ego and his increasingly leftward lurch. Even Flake’s relatives in his hometown of Snowflake, AZ, which was named after his great grandfather had their fill of him. He decided against running for a second senate term due to polling numbers in the teens.

  3. Clementine says:

Mitt Romney missed the message that God is a conservative, who has expectations for us. He ought to try reading the Bible. The Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule would be good places to start. But God also rained destruction upon those who chose not to follow his laws. Remember Adam and Eve, and Cain and Abel? The flood in which he only saved Noah and his family? Sodom and Gomorrah? Lot’s wife ?

  4. jake sez says:

Realist- you almost got me with the listing of the good points for McSally. That’s the way a primary is supposed to be done. But then you and “Dennis” went back to the old “lesser of two evil” arguments. Look around the state and you will see the support for McCarthy is growing. Going back and looking at old interviews only shows that McCarthy will at least appear on interview shows and discuss items of interest. Looked around and couldn’t find one of McSally that wasn’t an edited clip.

Sorry, but I am no longer voting for the lesser of two evils.

    • Realist says:

Great reasoning you’ve got going on here, Jake! I take it that you’re preparing to accept the fact of two Demo AZ Senators?

Not perfect is a whole lot better than worst.

Pres. Trump is far from perfect, but I wouldn’t trade him for anyone I think of.
