Truth is inconvenient, so why not lie…even on Presidents Day?

Since readership has fallen to the level of a cadaver’s blood pressure, the inconsequential, radically leftist local newspaper is willing to use any provocative means in its attempt to keep itself afloat. Emaciated columnist EJ Montini’s recent effort is a case in point. His column is titled, “Bloomberg is taking the heat, but Trump is the racist.”

Never mind that his premise is false or even that he knows it — having worked for the Hillary-endorsing, illegal alien invasion-supporting Arizona Republic since 1986, the concept of truth is too exotic to comprehend. Montini has been able to hang on through buyouts and wholesale firings of his co-workers because he is a willing sycophantic distorter and unconcealed liar, traits he has blatantly honed past retirement age.

Still the desperate, failing purveyor of falsehoods begs for readers with a giveaway. Outlandishly claiming:

“You can play a vital role in supporting local journalism that you and your community can trust. With a subscription, you can help our journalists hold those in power accountable,” by offering a “Presidents Day sale subscription — $1 for 3 months.”

A penny a paper is about what the far-left blather is worth. And those “journalists”?  They are mostly ASU Cronkite propagandized student interns, marinated in left-wing party line tripe working for a byline, lacking editors or an office.

This frantic deal comes from the shaky, homeless newspaper which recently acknowledged getting a whole lot factually incorrect, though its editorial policy and leftward skew didn’t make the embarrassingly long ‘Corrections and Clarifications’ list.

EJ Montini is a paid regurgitator of hatred aimed at anyone who has an intellect over room temperature. We finally cancelled our longtime subscription after the insulting Hillary endorsement, and only wished we had not waited that long.

I do not know a single person who reads this openly biased newspaper. It they do, they are too embarrassed to admit it. I work in a professional environment with educated associates. Those who previously subscribed have said at one time or another than they no longer do. We are not unique. That’s why subscriptions are in the tank.

  3. Realist says:

Actual news, minus the distortions, can be readily obtained in our technologically advanced world. Obviously, I’m not including the Arizona Repukelick’s online version of its leftist spew.

This is the solid lineup. Program times need to be re-calibrated to MST.

I’m guessing that Montini translates to small mountain. If that’s the case, the definition is too generous, unless it means minuscule brain.

Strom Help, please. Are the #’s 1, 2 & 3 payouts of 1,500,000, 1,200,000, 1,100,000 one time or annually for these 3 retirees? If the latter, God help the taxpayers there and here???

  6. Strom says:

Jake totally correct. FDR saw it and said it could not happen but unfortunately it did.

Ask a Phoenix Fire or Police officer what their salary, benefits, and pension w/ cola is and you wont get an answer because they know you will blow up! Not their fault but the people you elected were bought off by the unions.
