Positive GOP convention stands in stark contrast to negativity pushed by Biden Democrats during DNC
First Lady Melania Trump displayed her star power addressing America on the second night of the Republican National Convention, but you’d never know it if you read the desperate Arizona Republic,* the far-left tool of the Democrat party which neglected to cover any aspect of the convention.
In a speech given from the White House Rose Garden, she called attention to the Coronavirus pandemic and the violence plaguing American cities.
After expressing gratitude to health care workers and her “deepest sympathy” for those who have lost loved ones to the scourge, Mrs. Trump stated, “I want to acknowledge the fact that since March, our lives have changed drastically. The invisible enemy, COVID-19, swept across our beautiful country and impacted all of us.”
She emphasized “my husband’s administration will not stop fighting until there’s an effective treatment or vaccine available to everyone. Donald will not rest until he has done all he can to take care of everyone impacted by this terrible epidemic.”
As an immigrant and naturalized U.S. citizen from once-Communist controlled Slovenia, the First Lady was compelling as she spoke of the violence overtaking too many American cities. “Like all of you, I have reflected on the racial unrest in our country. It is a harsh reality that we are not proud of parts of our history. I encourage people to focus on our future while still learning from our past. We must remember that today we are all one community comprised of many races, religions, and ethnicities.”
She then focused on her personal story, saying becoming an American “is still one of the proudest moments in my life because with hard work and determination, I was able to achieve my own American dream.
I understand what a privilege it is to live here and to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have.”
Speaking of her husband and urging his reelection, she acknowledged, “We all know Donald Trump makes no secrets of about how he feels about things. Total honesty is what our citizens deserve from our president. Whether you like it or not, you always know what he’s thinking.”
Mrs. Trump also emphasized that women’s voices must be heard and praised her husband for building “an administration with an unprecedented number of women in leadership roles.
Last night’s compelling speakers included, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, Florida Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, Abby Johnson, Jason Joyce, Navajo Nation Vice President Myron Lizer, Megan Pauley, Cris Peterson, John Peterson, and Nicholas Sandmann
Democrat Joe Biden, via his handlers, has made it clear he wants to enact massive tax increases and job-killing regulations that would stifle economic growth.
