Trump voters better informed affirms non-partisan survey

Annual survey blames “media-promoted liberal fictions” for misinformation

Just Facts is a excellent source of factual information on wide ranging topics. Many of us were first introduced to the site by conservative author and economist, Dr. Walter Williams. Though unaffiliated with a political party, it has also been cited by Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin.

Today we take our readers to an earlier, yet intriguingly informative report titled, “Scientific Survey Shows Voters Widely Accept Misinformation Spread By the Media.”

The site states, “While most polls measure public opinion, this unique one measures voters’ knowledge of major issues facing the nation — such as education, taxes, healthcare, national debt, pollution, government spending, Social Security, global warming, energy, and hunger.”

The survey, concluded pre-COVID-19, and prior to Biden’s nomination, found that the “most commonly believed misinformation accords with left-leaning narratives spread by the press, and Democrat voters are more likely to accept these falsehoods than Trump voters.”

SRAZ uses these results to shine the spotlight on the desperate Arizona Republic newspaper, which despite losing subscribers faster than other Gannett owned publications,* continues to direct its last gasps toward denigrating Republican office holders and venomously attacking President Trump.

Today’s issue is a case in point. Among the headlines in the Sunday edition:

“For over 100 years, state has suppressed Latino, Black and Indigenous voters.” (The unsubstantiated allegations predate statehood. Arizona was a territory until 1912.)

“A Black woman’s ordeal: Phoenix police raped me.” (The “rape” was a legal and routine body cavity search following her arrest in a drug investigation.)

Today’s edition brutalizes extremely effective, congressional rising star U.S. Rep. Debbie Lesko, (CD-8). Lesko is worthy of derision simply for being a conservative Trump supporter. Prior to being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, trouncing a Democrat, Congresswoman Lesko served in the Arizona Legislature as both a House and Senate member. She was Senate President Pro-Tempore and Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

The leftist newspaper, which has only fawned over Republicrat John McCain, despises conservatives. Its venom, directed toward President Trump, and by extension his loyal supporters, is part of a daily multi-faceted vomitous eruption that includes skewed reporting, columnists with no other agenda, ripping editorials and malicious cartoons.

The reason Trump voters were found to be better informed by the Just Facts survey is they get their information from a wide range of sources, excluding biased newsosaurs such as the Arizona Republic.

Glad to see that far left news sources are being exposed. As to the local newspaper, appropriately referred to as the Repugnant, Repukelick and the Repulsive, it has earned the derisive names. But who reads it these days? It has no influence.

  2. Observer says:

The difference between Trump supporters and the Biden followers is Trump has loyalists who admire his tenacity and accomplishments. Biden has mindless Dems who think the government is their parent and owes them basics they should provide for themselves. They resent achievers and think their success is ill gotten and they deserve a portion of it. You can bet on the fact no Trump supporters were among the police hating thieves toppling historic monuments and burning down American cities.

  3. Kimball says:

Fox Network is widely regarded as conservative, but its panels routinely include Democrat operatives who have worked for Obama and Clinton campaigns. I tune in for Tucker Carlson, Sean Hanitty and Laura Ingraham. The leftists add nothing and are a distraction.

The Dem networks never allow Republicans to espouse their views. They’re fearful the Republicans’ cogent arguments might influence their sheep-like following.

  5. Braveheart says:

US Rep. Debbie Lesko is a strong conservative and vigorously defended President Trump during the demoncrats sham impeachment witch hunt. That’s the sole reason she’s being savaged by the far left snoozepaper. No one I know reads it. It’s completely irrelevant to thinking people in 2020.

Seeing Red AZ should start a countdown to the day of the final edition of this ridiculous rag. I’d give the hard copy edition until the end of 2022 before it turns its toes up. I’m probably being overly generous. It’s a failing endeavor and too costly to print and distribute. The only way for it to continue on a bit longer is to go all digital, but the aged population that still subscribes wants a hard copy. The numbers plummet in the summer when the snowbirds return to Canada and the frigid eastern states.
