We gave you life, we can take it away
The far-left and seriously ailing Arizona Republic was in the tank for Mark Kelly regardless of the troves of negative exposure that emerged during the campaign. Now it editorially pontificates, “Sen. Kelly will lose in ‘22 if he moves left,” actually enumerating the issues from which he needs to separate himself. He is warned against “placating one wing of the party and antagonizing everyone else.”
His nefarious dealings with China that slickly made him a multimillionaire didn’t need to be swept away, since the facts were unworthy of a spot of ink.
His not-for-thee, but fine-for-me Second Amendment hypocrisy was glibly swept aside, as his Giffords PAC endorsed and amassed money to be donated to firearm confiscating candidates running for public office across the United States.
When three former NASA astronauts who had been on space missions with Kelly exposed him as a deceitful, leftwing purveyor of extremist policies, and endorsed Sen. Martha McSally, their assessment was begrudgingly given space.
They wrote: “…McSally has delivered for Arizona, while Mark Kelly embraces Democrat ideology that would be bad for our country — leaving us with less freedoms, less security and less control of our lives.”
Kelly’s business dealings with Communist China and lucrative corporate speaking gigs both nationally and as far away as the United Arab Emirates have made him exceedingly rich. With an estimated $27 million Mark Kelly is among the wealthiest senate members, before he’s ever been on the D. C. take. So far Mark Kelly’s major benefactors have been Communist China and Socialist George Soros, something the newspaper never reported.
And true to its hatred of President Trump supporting Republicans, a front page report details the chasm between Gov. Doug Ducey, a McCain acolyte and AZ GOP Chairman Dr. Kelli Ward. Written by a reporter who uses dual last names, Ducey, a former ice cream vendor is referred to by his title throughout the report. Dr. Ward, a two-term state senator and family practice physician, has her title dropped. Her crime? She has the temerity to question the veracity of questionable ballots cast in the recent presidential election that has been fraught with fraud.
