Rush Limbaugh sends love, Christmas wishes in final show of 2020

As his fans are all too aware, Rush Limbaugh announced Feb. 3, that he had been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.

The following night, during the State of the Union address, President Trump awarded the obviously surprised Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom, (brief video) which First Lady Melania Trump seated beside him, placed around his neck. The president thanked the radio host for his longtime charity work and “decades of tireless devotion to our country.”

Rush Limbaugh’s influence was immediate from his first nationally syndicated show August 1, 1988. He paved the way for conservative talk radio to lead on AM radio.

It is with our profound gratitude to Limbaugh’s impact on the thinking of so many that we direct our readers to, “What Rush Limbaugh’s life says about eternity,” by Richard Jack Rail. The author says of Rush Limbaugh, “He has pointed millions of Americans back to the path we ought never have left.” According to EIB (Excellence in Broadcasting) the number is 43 million daily.

Watch the opening of his Dec. 23 show, the last of this year, as he wishes “Merry Christmas everybody…I love you all.”

His grateful audience loves him back and wishes him and his wife, Kathryn, a Merry Christmas and many blessings in return.

I was a registered Republican, but Rush taught me the meaning of conservatism. I will be eternally grateful to him. His diagnosis hit me like a ton of bricks. He’s my weekday friend…the one I’ve never met, but admire immensely. I pray he will be able to resume his program in 2021.

    SRAZ–thank you for this.

There was something about his message yesterday. . .

You can go to and read the transcript of the individual segments of his show from Dec 23.

Please pray for Rush and his family, if you are so inclined.

The smallest kindness can make a big difference. WATCH THIS and see the JOY:

If you are unable to attend a worship service, check you TV listings for the EWTN channel.

I hope that everyone here is able to find the LOVE that came to Earth on the night that Jesus was born.

When I heard Rush’s first show here in Phoenix, I was annoyed that the local host who discussed Arizona politics was replaced by this guy who focused on the nation. It didn’t take me long to realize I was wrong. I learned more listening to Rush Limbaugh than I ever learned previously. He impacted my life and undoubtedly millions of others. I pray for him to be able to continue what he does so brilliantly, but realize the harsh inevitability of losing him.

I briefly fell into the trap of watching Nancy Pelosi’s rude antics while the president made his presentation and sat while everyone else at the State of the State, repeatedly stood and applauded Rush. Pelosi averted her eyes, looking down, shuffling papers or looking off to the side where none of the action was taking place with a pinched expression on her pulled too tight face. What a classless partisan. There’s an old saying, “money doesn’t care who has it,” meaning being enormously wealthy is not a guarantee of being decent.

  5. Ellsworth says:

Rush Limbaugh is not only a hero to conservatives. He’s deservingly been awarded five Marconi Awards for Syndicated Personality of the Year and has been inducted into both the National Radio Hall of Fame and the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
    He’s a national treasure.

  6. Doc says:

Merry Christmas everyone!!! So, before I go do the Christmas elf thing this morning with my kids…I gave a “Rush Revere” book to my ex girlfriend’s daughter 3 years ago. My ex, who was a libertarian, & didn’t “like” President Trump because of his personality (this was actually part of why she’s my “ex” now…as I told her that the Presidency IS NOT a “personality contest”) read thru that book this past year….she texted me a picture of her ballot on Nov. 3rd…she voted for our President. I’m pretty sure that his book contributed to her switch. He is Truly a Godsend, & as stated above, a National Treasure!

    • Arizona Conservative Guy says:

      Merry Christmas to you, Doc!

Your tale about your ex and her daughter is an important one. We can still reach some of America’s youth despite the overwhelming indoctrination they get from their left wing, union member teachers who are overwhelmingly demoncrats and have unlimited access to our kids without any interference from kindergarten through college in the closed environment where grades are based on mimicking the teachers.

As to the reason your “ex” is your ex…few conservatives, regardless of how enthralled they are, could actually build a successful life with someone whose basic views are so erratically different from their own. Libertarians are not conservatives. They want no government controls on what they consider their rights including Class A drugs and abortion. Though they’ve been around for years, they’ve never achieved national party status. They are voracious pests nibbling at the Republican Party to gain a foothold, which has remained out of their reach. They’re known as Loosertarians for a reason.

I’ve read your comments long enough to know that this could not have been a good match. I hope you meet a solid conservative. There are lots of them in Prescott!!

Thank You for your kind words! I know the right gal is just around th’ corner. I now vet them before asking them out HAHA!! I’ve spent an amazing Christmas with my kids (8 & 9 years old) though…kids who have respectfully called their unionized teachers out on their demosocialist crapola whenever they start any “spew”!
