Selective outrage and hypocrisy of the left exemplified by everything from silence on Obama’s disastrous Iran nuclear deal to calling looting mobs burning American cities “peaceful protesters”
Myriad corporations and tech titans are suspending political contributions to 147 members of congress — who voted against the election certification in a joint session of congress last week.
The list includes: American Airlines, American Express, Amazon, AT&T, Best Buy, BlueCross BlueShield, BP, Charles Schwab, CISCO Systems, Citigroup, Coca Cola, Commerce Bank, Comcast, Conoco Philips, Dow Chemical, Facebook, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Google, Hallmark Cards, Intel, JPMorgan, Marriott Hotels, MasterCard, Microsoft, 3M, Verizon, Visa…to name a few that are either suspending all donations or taking actions against specific individuals.
There is no doubt the effort was coordinated in order to prevent Republican voters from seeking alternative companies with which to do business. Many of us already took our business elsewhere when Bank of America donated a $Billion to BLM, which looted and torched American cities, tearing down national monuments, too ignorant of history to know that Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves and Gen. Ulysses S. Grant led union troops against the south. Both men were elected presidents and were Republicans.
When the anti-Bank of America fury became too potent to ignore, the bank later reconfigured the money as “economic development in the face of the pandemic.”
Coercive corporations, exemplified by BlueCross BlueShield which has made significant contributions through the health insurance company’s BLUEPAC political action committee, donated $246,750 to GOP lawmakers during the 2020 cycle. The corporation announced it was ending donations to all Republicans who challenged the Electoral College results. Its announcement is disingenuous at best, claiming all of its donation are employee generated. How many democrats working for the corporation would be donating to Republican candidates? It concluding with this sentiment, “We also encourage you to connect with us on Facebook, check out our videos on YouTube and follow us on Twitter.”
These are all sources that have also clamped down on Republicans, even permanently shutting down President Trump’s Twitter account.
Then there’s the malicious anti-Trump Lincoln Project, which is creating a database of Trump administration officials in order to keep them from future employment. Given that lawyer Kellyanne Conway was integral to Donald Trump’s campaign as its manager and served as senior counselor for President Trump, would these employment restrictions extend to her? She is the wife of Lincoln Project’s blubbery George Conway.
