GoDaddy eerily morphs into Big Brother

The Federalist reports, the largest gun forum in the world, was deplatformed on Monday by web hosting company GoDaddy without explanation. When asked by The Federalist about the decision to remove, GoDaddy later claimed that the site “both promotes and encourages violence,” but did not offer any specific examples. Instead, they gave 24 hours to relocate its business.

The decision by Scottsdale-based GoDaddy follows a series of bans and contract terminations by big tech companies such as Amazon, Google, Apple, Twitter, and Facebook targeting conservatives and supporters of President Donald Trump.

Big Brother was described in George Orwell’s eerily prophetic novel, “1984,” illustrating the consequences of individuals actions and intentions being monitored by the government as a means of controlling and suppressing the will of the populace. The Orwell analogy becomes more fitting as political conservative are further repressed as emboldened leftists gain control, bringing to mind the post-World War II confessional prose by German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemoller:

“First they came . . .”

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out…

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out…

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out…

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me…and there was no one left to speak for me.

  1. East Valley Conservative says:

Twitter shares have plunged after its decision to ban Pres. Trump.

  2. Observer says:

Pastor Martin Niemoller described how the German people became colluders by virtue of their passivity toward the Nazis. It’s a message worth paying attention to as we are on the verge of being governed by the hardest left administration in memory. We must speak out against overreaches. Its clear the Biden-Harris administration feels it has a mandate to bring us to Socialism.

Political power changes with elections. That’s a given. Republicans and dems still have to work together to accomplish anything. It doesn’t mean forgetting your base. It means remembering your country.

  3. Fed Up says:

Washington is at war with itself. The parties need to remember the American people.

I see showboating Republicrat Congresswoman Liz Cheney has announced she’s going to vote to impeach Pres. Trump again….within days of the end of his term. I hope the voters of Wyoming send her packing. She needs to be primaried!!

  4. Frankly Speaking says:

The Dimocraps are giving us a window on what their agenda will be. Today they voted to invoke the 25th Amendment declaring Pres. Trump unfit to serve. Thank God VP Pence halted the effort hours before his term is over. This is meant to send a message of hatred, not to heal the country.

We should never forget what their priorities are. We, the American people, are not on the list.
