Maricopa County Board of Supervisors abhor transparency

Disappointing update on election audit

On Saturday, Jan. 30, SRAZ optimistically relying on The Gateway Pundit, headlined our report, “AZ GOP senators proceed with 2020 election audit.” That site has now updated, with this disappointing news,Maricopa County Preventing Valid Audit of 2020 Election Results and Now Media Claims State Law Prevents the County from Handing Over Ballots to an Auditor.”

“The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has balked and manipulated information and the media to prevent a valid audit of the county’s 2020 election results.  Now the local media outlet ABC15 is assisting them by claiming it is against state law for the county to provide ballots to auditors to review. (Video in the first paragraph link.)

It was reported yesterday that the Arizona Senate has requested an audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election results and will select the auditor themselves. You can’t blame them. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS), who oversee the election process in the county, is doing all they can to prevent a valid audit from being performed in the county.” Read the complete report here.

The updated report concludes, “If the Board of Supervisors in Maricopa County wanted to get to the truth about the 2020 election results in the county they would be transparent. They wouldn’t sue the Arizona Senate for requesting an audit, or agree to an audit but only from their preferred auditors (who they claimed were certified, but weren’t) or go to the media to say it is illegal to basically audit the ballots in the county, when it is not.

Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors (elected members shown here) and Big Media don’t want Americans to know the truth about the 2020 election – they show it every day.”

Four of the five supervisors — currently paid $76,600 for their part-time jobs — voted not to respond to subpoenas issued by the Arizona State Senate demanding an audit of the county’s elections software.

Our conclusion is the supes prefer to treat us like mushrooms, keeping us in the dark and covered with BS. We’ve had enough and we vote.

  1. Observer says:

This past election we elected a man of integrity to head up the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office, which has oversight over Maricopa County elections.
Recorder Stephen Richer was quoted as saying in part, “I believe the board’s audit is needed to build confidence in the election process and to further improve election administration in our county, which is the second-largest voting jurisdiction in the United States.”
“May this be the first step of many over the next four years to inspire confidence in the elections process.”

    • Arizona Conservative Guy says:

So glad to be rid of democrat Adrian Fontes who tried to politicize the office.

      • Trevor says:

Same here but sadly he is now the deputy Pima County Recorder. But he is perfect for that democrat bleep hole!

  2. toughterry says:

As a Pima taxpayer, I am not happy about that creep overseeing that county office. Pima County is a snake pit.

    • Casper says:

You describe Pima County as a “snake pit.” Fontes will be the king snake since the woman who hired him as her deputy has zero experience and will rely upon his “wisdom.” It’s a disaster scenario waiting for an election to screw up.

  3. GreenValleyGal says:

The 2020 AZ election was rigged. 150,000 mail in ballots were received from voters registered after the legal registration deadline, 36,473 non-citizens voted and 5,726 out of state voters voted in our election according to Dr. Navarro. We need a forensic audit of paper ballots to restore trust.
