First, let’s get the definitions straight. The surge of people flooding across our southern border are not immigrants or migrants. They are illegal aliens…foreign nationals…who are criminally breaching America’s sovereign border.
Immigrants apply through a legal process to enter our country and become American citizens. Migrants are the cliff swallows that come yearly to San Juan Capistrano, California from Goya, Argentina, a 6,000 mile trip, and return home. They also do not present a health threat to Americans who are racing to get inoculated against a deadly and easily transmitted virus. And while millions of Americans are unemployed, Biden is intent on importing workers to compete for American jobs.
Joe Biden has been president since January 20th, yet has already overseen a massive influx of illegals with a projection of 117,000 unaccompanied minors being brought here by their well-paid human traffickers and drug cartels before the soaring summer temperatures makes the arduous trip even more perilous. They are overwhelming the border facilities and many are released to a parent or other family member in this country, the majority of whom are here illegally. Not surprisingly, the number of UACs (Unaccompanied Alien Children) from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, has surged in recent years as family members in the United States and UACs have exploited this loophole. The increase in this transnational crime has intensified under Joe Biden after flattening under President Trump. Biden and his handlers see the illegals as future democrats.
Joe Biden’s message promoted by his Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas who declares, “There is no crisis at the border”?
Cuban-born Mayorkas’ senate confirmation was not a landslide. Recycled from the Obama administration and notable for implementing the controversial Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) scheme (originally promoted as the warm and fuzzy sounding D.R.E.A.M. Act), he was confirmed by a nearly straight party line vote with a slim margin of reliable Republicrat defectors: Senators Shelley Moore Capito (WV); Rob Portman (OH); Susan Collins (ME); Mitt Romney (UT); Lisa Murkowski (AK); and Dan Sullivan (AK) voted with the Democrats. Pat Toomey (PA), who is not running for reelection, did not vote.
These are going to be a long four years.
