Joyous Easter wishes…

and the flawed advisability of mixing leftist politics and religion

On this holiday we are taking the unusual step of including a thought provoking editorial by Wayne Allyn Root, posted today on Townhall. Regardless of your religion, we recommend, “An Important Easter Sunday Message for the Catholic Church, Major League Baseball and Delta Airlines.” It could be any church and the thrust of the message would be the same, though this specifically exposes the duplicity of Father Milton Ryan, a priest at Holy Trinity Church in Dallas, Texas.

What an excellent editorial by Wayne Allyn Root !!
It makes perfect sense in these extraordinary times with national “leadership” at its lowest point in my recollection. Voting for democrats is voting for the destruction of America. Unfortunately, many in the clergy are leftwingers, mistakenly viewing compassion as equating to opening the floodgates and giving all comers what our taxpaying citizens have funded.

For calling the police on the maskless pregnant parishioner with her toddler in tow, the diocese authorities overseeing Holy Trinity Church should FIRE, not transfer, Milton Ryan. He is bloated with power and wafer thin on common sense. But with so few entering the priesthood these days, they’ll keep and elevate him, since he hasn’t been exposed as a pedophile…yet!

Holy Trinity is flush with over $16 million dollars in assets, including CDs and investments. The most recent financial statement available is from 2018-2019.

Yet they have a webpage detailing “new ways to give.”
    Read this insatiable webpage.

I previously lived in Dallas and know about this church. ‘Nuff said.

I read that the Dallas diocese agreed with the police action and excused their employee, Fr. Ryan, of wrongdoing. If that position is correct and still is the diocese opinion, Catholics all over Texas should know what the next step should be. Forget about turning the other cheek – this is the time for action.

If you want to drop “Father” Milton Ryan a note and tell him what you think of him calling the cops on a pregnant mask-less parishioner carrying a I-year-old, his email is listed here:
    https://www.htccd.org/contact-us.

    Ryan’s personal email is mryan@htccd.org

  5. toughterry says:

Thanks, Frankly, for the contact info – I sent him a note and gave him a penance of 1million Hail Marys. I should have added that they should be chanted in public, at his alter.

      You’re welcome!

Catholics need to run, not walk, away from this church. It epitomizes the worst in an all too frequently flawed clergy. Calling the police on this woman who was sitting in a pew praying isn’t the worst of it, as we all know.

The left is on a mission to impeach and recall anyone they don’t like. Milton Ryan should get a good, quick kick out the door. His actions are resoundingly outrageous!

Realist (comment above) assessed the situation correctly.
