AZ ACLU’s cojones rival those of a brass monkey

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, the third largest public prosecutorial agency in the nation, is obviously doing something right. County Attorney Allister Adel has earned the wrath of the radically left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

In a crude, unsigned four-page demand letter, lacking a respectful salutation or signature and using a P.O. Box return address, the fanatics put their screwy notions above citizen safety while issuing four specific demands (pages 3 and 4) elevating criminals while leaving law abiding citizens vulnerable. A central point denigrates police while arguing for dismissal of charges in specific cases of violent protesters, and arrogantly demands the prosecutors in those cases be fired and the First Responder’s Bureau be disbanded.

It’s important to read the ACLU’s demand letter to understand what law enforcement agencies charged with protecting the public are up against in these most politically unstable times as they are accused of lying and the newly trendy fallback of “racism.” Leftists have an agenda that elevates lawbreakers including marauding mobs to lofty heights, while blasting prosecutors and urging police departments be defunded.

We are living in perilous times. Knowledge is power. It’s crucial this shockingly contemptible demand letter is read and passed on to others.

Amazing that “legal experts” rely on reports from left wing biased media to assert their allegations.

Kinda like “I know it’s true, I read it on the internet.

  2. Braveheart says:

This insufferable arrogance would have been unthinkable not so long ago. With Biden in the White House, those on the far left now feel emboldened.

  3. jojo says:

Withh PSJT on office they felt embolded because the RINO’s stabbed him in the back while they were getting his front side. NO MORE RINO’s everr again in AZ. Get rid of the McCain stain. I want the old Goldwater Republican party back.

  4. Villanova says:

The ACLU alleges that the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office operates in secret and is racist in prosecutions because more minorities are “disproportionately” charged with and serve time for crimes, while completely ignoring that those who commit crimes are the ones charged and convicted. The rest of society should not be repeatedly victimized regardless of the BS flung by the ACLU.

  5. Arizona Conservative Guy says:

The ACLU is a farce. Its board of director’s Principles Policy https://www.acluaz.org/en/principles-policy
should be read carefully. It pertains only to them and those they interact with urging them to:
“behave in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner to fellow Directors, Affiliate staff, agents, volunteers, vendors, clients and all other parties with whom a Director has dealings on behalf of the Affiliate.

Bullying, discrimination, or harassment of any kind, or retaliation against fellow Directors or of Affiliate staff, agents, volunteers, vendors, or clients at any time while acting in the role of Director or otherwise representing the Affiliate, is prohibited.”

Those who are not and would never be ACLU insiders such as elected Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel and her professional staff, law abiding citizens, along with any conservative Republican can go pound sand!

  6. Realist says:

Democrats can no longer be mistaken for “the other party.” They despise our way of life and are akin to Marxists. College students who have no idea what Socialism is say they prefer it. Thank their teachers who belong to leftwing unions and spend years indoctrinating them, either subtly or overtly.

If these fools are going to be in charge, kiss freedom goodbye. We’re doomed.

  7. Anthem Al says:

Great and very appropriate headline today, guys! Made me laugh out loud…UNTIL I read what these extremist jackasses are up to. I thought the local ACLU died with Louis Rhodes. At his worst, he was better than anything I’ve seen in this arrogant letter.
