Did you know you’re a big donor to Gay Pride Month?

Newsweek magazine, which became an on-line only edition in 2012 as ad revenues fell, devotes its E-edition to celebrating LGBT/Gay Pride and lists 50+ brands and companies that are onboard “celebrating inclusion, equality and love for LGBT Pride month.”

The compilation begins with a warning:

“But just because you see a rainbow shirt in the window, doesn’t mean the store is giving back. Below, we’ve compiled a (not complete) list of retailers, restaurants and other companies with Pride offerings benefiting LGBT nonprofits like GLAAD, GLSEN, The Trevor Project and the It Gets Better Foundation.”

You’ll be cheered to know that Absolut Vodka has brought back its rainbow bottle in celebration as did Smirnoff. Disney is onboard with the Rainbow Disney collection, offering more than 50 products, including Mickey Mouse ears for toddlers. Ikea is flying the Pride flag at all of its locations. Bud Light is donating up to $150,000. Cindy Hensley McCain’s Anheuser-Busch beer distributorship celebrates and donates “this month and all year long” with a “Pour with PRIDE campaign.”

There is big money involved. Starbucks is matching donations to Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ Foundation through June 30, committing up to $250,000. Stores from Target to Macy’s and Ralph Lauren to Nordstrom are not only celebrating, but are major contributors. T-Mobil intends to donate up to $200,000. Not to be outdone, Verizon is donating $250,000 to PFLAG National and Pride events nationwide, including L.A. Pride, D.C. Black Pride and the NYC Pride March. Athletic shoes, clothing and makeup companies to Johnson and Johnson’s Listerine mouthwash, which has come out with a rainbow striped bottle, and has raised more than $1 million for LGBT nonprofits since 2011, are all supporters.

As you scroll through the merchandisers remember that your patronage is funding their generosity.

In recent years we have been inundated with the homosexual message, which has been glorified in films, television and celebrity news, causing people to overestimate the actual number of people living this lifestyle as Gallup pollsters pointed out in 2019. Few ever heard the word “transgender” until former Olympian Bruce Jenner, who has been married to three different women and fathered 2 children, became Caitlyn Marie Jenner amid great fanfare in 2015. Republican Caitlyn,71, is now running for governor of California as a recall election is underway to remove Leftist Gavin Newsom. No formal date for the election, with a growing number of candidates, has been announced.

Why is there no celebration of normalcy? Homosexuals cannot reproduce, they recruit. They are aided by Hollywood in sugar coating their “alternative lifestyles.” Now businesses are joining in to normalize the abnormal. Whenever I can, I’ll shop elsewhere.

  2. Teller Of Truth says:

Homosexuals not only co-opted the words gay and pride, but they have made God’s rainbow theirs.

Let’s not forget they brought us the deadly scourge of HIV/AIDS, which originated in anonymous sex clubs known as bathhouses, and through blood donations infected hundreds of thousands of others outside their sphere.

  3. Frankly Speaking says:

What’s to celebrate? Remember Ryan White a 13-year-old hemophiliac who was diagnosed with AIDS following a blood transfusion and died as many other innocent blood transfusion patients did. I read at the time that gays across the USA were donating blood to mainstream AIDS and take the onus off of their community.

Perversion, given the cover of “gay,” is now celebrated for a MONTH. Drag queens come to public schools and libraries to read children’s books to kindergartners as they brainwash tykes to accepting the grotesque as natural from the youngest ages. Where are the voices raised in protest?

Many business sent millions to BLM, a Marxist anti-family, anti-American organization. The stupidity of this outpouring to these causes is mindboggling. Wonder how much they donated to Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Of course that would interfere with profits of the cartels and the democrat party.

      Excellent points!
I recently saw a report that the co-founder of Black Lives Matter is going to be the featured speaker at the UCLA Commencement. What a stellar example of leftwing lunacy. She never accounted for the huge donations the subversive group took in from American corporations, as she purchased a $multimillion home for herself.

We closed our accounts at Bank of America when it gave $millions to BLM, and told the manager why. He claimed ignorance

Americans are being intimidated into silence rather than risk appearing unhip.

  7. Capt. Marvel says:

California has more “gays” than any other state. Bruce/Caitlyn could win.

This isn’t a lark. I hope a Republican with statewide experience wins. The people of California deserve better than Newsom.

  8. Mohave Mike says:

What’s to “celebrate” about one’s sexuality? Why has sexual activity ceased being a private matter? While I might be interested in discussing the weather, sports or current events, I’m not the least bit interested in the intimacies of others.
