Arizonans looking for facts regarding the Biden-ordered air strikes against Iran-backed militia in Iraq and Syria on Sunday evening will have to locate the information somewhere other than on the pages of the radically left-wing local newspaper which focuses on sports and diversity.
This Department of Defense statement notes the U.S. military targeted operational and weapons storage facilities at two locations in Syria and one location in Iraq.
The strikes came at the direction of Pres. Joe Biden‘s handlers, the second time his surrogates have ordered retaliatory strikes against Iran-backed militia since taking office five months ago. Biden last ordered strikes against a target in Syria in February, that time in response to rocket attacks in Iraq.
Military action is often necessary to secure our troops and aid our allies. It’s the predictable hypocrisy that warrants scrutiny.
The U.K.’s Daily Mail provides this exposé, reporting that the views were decidedly different when President Trump authorized military action.
Four years ago, Biden’s mouthpiece Jen Psaki — formerly Obama’s Communications Director — tweeted her dismay at Trump-sanctioned air strikes on the very same country which her boss approved a bombing raid last night.
“What is the legal authority for strikes? Assad is a brutal dictator. But Syria is a sovereign country,” Psaki wrote in April, 2017.
In June 2019, Biden referred to President Trump as “erratic” and “impulsive” for taking the same actions his administration is now taking.
