Since the Pope’s Catholicism is considered beyond doubt, the question, “Is the Pope Catholic,” is normally considered the height of irony.
We raise it today since Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church and the sovereign of the Vatican city/state within Rome, recently welcomed Joe Biden to the Vatican as Biden was on his way to the EU Summit meeting — where he ultimately joined with European members endorsing punishing tax rates on job creating corporations. The world’s highest ranking Catholic men, one of whom is the second U.S. Catholic president, discussed climate change, income inequality and other topics reaching paramount status on the agenda of the left. They also joked about their ages — Francis, nearing 85, and Biden, soon to turn 79 — and drinking, a topic not unknown to the former Argentine bar bouncer Pope.
Among the inanities, Biden asked Francis, “How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?”
What was skirted was the topic of abortion, disallowed by church teachings and viewed negatively by all pro-life political conservatives. Catholic Biden has encountered pushback from Catholic Bishops for his pro-abortion and same-sex marriage stance as he continues to take communion.
At the conclusion of their Friday meeting, Biden told the press that the Pope blessed his rosary and called him “a good Catholic.”
Proving once again that President Trump was on solid ground as he followed through on his pre-election promise to secure our southern border, the Biden administration was reportedly rethinking the wisdom of allowing millions of illegal aliens to openly breach our border.
That didn’t last long,
The latest scheme is to give $450,000 — nearly a half-million of taxpayer’s money — to each illegal invader as compensation for enduring the hardship of being separated from their families as they criminally breached our sovereign border. The New York Post covers this outrageous proposal.
Who can forget Barack Obama’s campaign declaration, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America“? (Less than a minute long video.) Instead of being met with gasps of horror, the audience of ignorant democrats waved their placards and cheered. We should never lose sight of the fact that he selected Joe Biden as his vice presidential running mate, and now has assumed the role of behind the scenes puppet master, orchestrating everything from having Kamala Harris as Biden‘s heir apparent, to keeping the border open to those from terror sponsoring nations.
History is given a short shrift in our public/government schools. American young adults, many sponging off their parents rather than gainfully employed, spent “the summer of love” destroying historical monuments as they glibly looted and decimated businesses that others devoted their energies and resources to building. Police and their patrol vehicles were targeted with cinder blocks, thrown at them as they attempted to maintain order. Here in Maricopa County, the problem plagued chief prosecutor Allister Adel, decided not to pursue charges against the marauding thugs. She has spent more time out of the office than in it, beginning with the onset of her election. The first three months she was in rehab both in Arizona and California for alcoholism, stress and eating disorders. Running as a Republican, she does a good imitation of a liberal democrat.
We can and should do better. Appointing and then electing a county attorney based on the fact that she is the first woman to fill that role is lunacy. Plumbing doesn’t matter. Commitment to competently fulfilling the law does. The first priority is showing up.
Allister Adel doesn’t even do that.
President Ronald Reagan prophetically described what we are currently facing in his “Time for Choosing” speech:
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
Since its founding in 1864 in Rochester, Minnesota, Mayo Clinic’s reputation has grown to stellar proportions and enjoys a Class A reputation. It also has hospital facilities in Scottsdale, Arizona and Jacksonville Florida. U.S. News and World Reports ranks Mayo as Number One nationallyin its evaluation of over 5,000 hospitals in the United States.
This background is pertinent since employees of the local facility, including doctors and nurses, turned out in force Wednesday to protest the new policy requiring termination of employees who do not comply with Mayo’s imposed COVID-19 vaccine requirement. They must show proof that they are fully vaccinated by January 3, 2022, unless they have a medical or religious exemption approved before December 3, 2021.
Mayo Clinic advertises itself as standing at the forefront of medical innovation leading hundreds of clinical trials and offering groundbreaking therapies. They are currently one of the principal research centers for the COVID-19 epidemicand were one of the first institutions offering plasma exchange for this patient population.
Given these credentials, it’s a reasonable assumption that the doctors and nurses who are being threatened with employment termination for refusing to get vaccinated have information the rest of us don’t. If they are protesting the vaccine imposition, it gives the general population a lot to contemplate.
There is no disputing the fact that the Republican-hating, Hillary-endorsing, (seriously!) Arizona Repulsive newspaper is on life support.* Yet instead of attempting to resuscitate itself, the failing disseminator of leftist propaganda stays the course that has brought it to this pathetic condition. Although President Donald Trump no longer occupies the Oval Office, he continues to take up residence in the heads of the biased reporters and columnists, who routinely use the popular former president as a punching bag.
In a bow to the Biden-endorsing, RINOcrat McCain women, EJ Montini’s column is headlined, “Daughter finds McCain still living inside Trump’s head.” He is referring to notorious Mega, not Sidney (born during McCain’s first marriage) or Bridget, his two other daughters.
As anyone paying attention knows, the exact opposite is true. Contrarian (19-second video) John McCain, whose entire career was predicated on one day being president, ran unsuccessfully twice, losing the 2000 primary to George W. Bush and the 2008 general election to Barack Obama.
McCain was so enraged that Donald Trump, who had never previously held public office, won overwhelmingly (less than 2-minute video) during his first presidential race, that vengeful McCain — who made up a guest list for his own funeral — intentionally omitted President Donald and First Lady Melania Trump.
Instead of dedicating the time he had left to interacting with his family, megalomaniac McCain orchestrated three funerals for himself.
Fake Lake donated to the presidential campaigns of democrats Barack Obama and John Kerry
Lacking a single relevant credential, democrat Obama and John Kerry donor Kari Lake is inexplicably running for governor of the state of Arizona — as a Republican. The former television newsreader, who ridiculously compares herself to onetime democrat-turned-conservative Ronald Reagan has been a party switcher extraordinaire, drinking whatever Kool-Aid suited her at any particular moment.
Her political experience is nil, having never been elected to any office, but now aspiring to run the state of Arizona. Deceptively using her married name Kari L. Halperin, she and her husband, Jeff, generously gave nearly $1,000 to John Kerry’s and Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns in 2004 and 2008. Then employed as a news anchor at KSAZ-Channel 10 TV, Lake deviously listed her employer as Zen Video, the name of her husband’s business. She left the Republican Party, reregistering as an Independent before switching again to become a democrat in 2008 — opportunistically changing back when she thought it would benefit her. This former democrat now absurdly refers to herself as the most conservative Republican in the governor’s race.
Kari Lake donated to John Kerry‘s presidential campaign as well as Obama‘s. We should never forget John Kerry, a Vietnam phony who joined Jane Fonda siding with the Communist Viet Cong enemy, entered into the disastrous nuclear enrichment deal with America-hating Iranians, on behalf of Barack Obama. To sweeten the agreement, which removed sanctions against the hostile regime and ultimately enabled Iran to become a nuclear power, the U.S. made available $1 billion in frozen assets. After the initial part of the deal was cut, the Iranian dictator led mobs in chants of “Death to the United States!” Heritage Foundation ran this fact-filled report: “Truth as the Victim of Kerry’s Promise to Iran.”
National Review exposes Biden’s U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s radical agenda in this revealing article, “Hawley Calls for Merrick Garland to Resign over FBI School-Board Memo.” This is Republican U. S. Sen. Josh Hawley’s tweet exposing the disastrous Garland’s conflict of interest with his son-in-law’s business dealings and characterizing concerned parents who spoke up against the educrat extremist agenda being promoted in schools as “potential domestic terrorists.” Garland mobilized the FBI against them.
This is then-democrat Kari Lake promoting Obama’s pro-abortion selection radical leftist Merrick Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court to replace conservative icon Justice Antonin Scalia who died unexpectedly in the waning days of Obama’s presidency. Foolish Lake said Garland had “an impeccable resume.” Biden has since appointed Garland U.S. Attorney General, with disastrous results:

Kyrsten Sinema subtly inches right, incurs searing hatred from leftist newspaper
With all the impact of an end-of-summer, unpredictable and turbulent storm, the romance between the radical leftist local newspaper and Arizona democrat Sen. Kirsten Sinema appears to have fractured beyond repair. Leftwing columnist Elvia Diaz’ column is headlined, “Nobody can topple Sinema? Wrong.” She accuses Sinema of blocking Biden’s agenda — which according to Diaz is heaven-sent, “since there is no greater motivator than anger and profound disappointment.” Once considered charismatic, Sinema has now incurred Diaz’ wrath as she expresses not only her own fury but arrogantly that of the “voters.” She concludes her column with these words:
“Sinema may be America’s top Democratic high-roller, drawing kudos and lots of money from wealthy donors. But no amount of cash is enough to erase disgust and disappointment among voters.”
Who knew Diaz spoke for the masses?
Sinema has caught her once adoring press fans off guard. Initially running and losing when she campaigned for the state legislature as a Green Party member, changeling Sinema was victorious as a democrat. She reveled in declaring herself a bi-sexual, insulting stay-at-home moms and the military. After recrafting herself yet again, she was elected to the U.S. Congress and then the Senate where she refused to take her oath of office on the Bible.
Though she still aims to shock D.C. with provocative attire, thigh high boots and even sporting a purple wig, Sinema has morphed into a more moderate political persona after clearly unable to independently function Obama puppet Joe Biden assumed the Oval Office. Earlier this year, Sinema partnered with Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn on a bill to curtail the historically high numbers of illegal aliens surging into the United States. They jointly sent this letter to Biden calling on him to address the border crisis. That alone would inflame Diaz. Aligning with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), the duo has attempted to hold the line against the Biden administration’s unconscionable $3.5 Trillion, likely unread 2,465 page, spending bill, exposed here by Betsy McCaughey writing in the New York Post. They also are supportive of maintaining the filibuster which riles the left since it requires 60 votes in the Senate to pass major legislation that the Biden administration hopes to enact, desiring no impediments to their extreme agenda.
Divorces can be nasty. Political divorces are best categorized as wretched. Sinema should be glad she doesn’t have to pay alimony to Diaz.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is led by Allister Adel, who oddly views herself as a social worker rather than a prosecutor charged with keeping our communities safe.
On June 11, Adel announced her decision to dismiss all charges against the October 17, 2020 rioters who assaulted police, set fires, looted and destroyed property. Though admitting the crimes were captured on video, she bizarrely stated:
“It is the decision of this office that it is in the interests of justice to not proceed. I want to be clear this decision does not mean that no crimes were committed. This decision in no way reflects negatively on the hard work law enforcement performed that night in preventing violence and property damage, and other crimes to keep our community safe.”
“The office” did not make this absurd decision. It was Allister Adel’s choice.
Last week via an email sent to office personnel, Adel announced she has disbanded the First Responders Bureau, which prosecuted cases involving acts of violence against police and firefighters, ostensibly due lack of resources.
The fact is, the decision is based on her lack of determination to follow through with the duties required of the elected county attorney in the nation’s third largest prosecutor’s office, in a border state beset by rising criminality.
Violent protests against the police have not been isolated incidents and nationally efforts to defund the police have gained momentum resulting in law enforcement officers leaving and crime rates rising. Yet these criminals are the ones Maricopa County Attorney Adel thinks are worthy of having their charges dropped? Rioters do not respond to weakness. It emboldens them.
Frequently out of the officeseeking treatment for alcoholism, anxiety and eating disorders in California and Arizona rehab facilities, she is neither physically, emotionally or professionally capable performing the duties of the job she holds.
It’s past time for Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel to resign.
Columbia University Law Professor Philip Hamburger has written a stellar assessment of America’s public school system, titled “Is the Public School System Constitutional?” It was posted as a commentary in the Wall Street Journal.
His summery includes these words: “Education consists mostly in speech, and parents have a right under the First Amendment to exercise authority over what their children hear.”

Media Research Center’s Newsbusters has “the rest of the story” on the horrifying report that recently surfaced regarding the rape of a female passenger on a Philadelphia train. What news coverage there was focused on the lack of concern shown by blasé fellow travelers who watched the criminal sexual assault and did nothing to aid the victim. Apathy is not a traditional American value, but has gained a foothold when America is being flooded with illegal aliens, who are not imbued with the moral principles that have traditionally undergirded our culture. They cower at calling attention to themselves, concerned that dealing with law enforcement will expose their illegal status.
What was omitted from the reports was who the criminal rapist actually is, and background on his status. Newsbusters refers to Tucker Carlson’s Fox News report on the shocking crime committed by 35-year-old Fiston Ngoy, a Congolese illegal alien, who was released in 2019 by an immigration judge without deportation despite a history of serious offenses. Ngoy was originally in the U.S. on a student visa in 2012. He has not been a student since 2015.
This criminality is not a rarity. Neither is the repulsive apathy. Yet the Biden administration has opened the floodgates to illegals, after tearing down the border wall construction undertaken by President Trump, fulfilling a campaign promise to American citizens.
And while Biden’s surrogates have ordered COVID vaccinations for Americans, unvaccinated illegals surging across our sovereign border have no such mandates as they are transported to American cites across our nation. These are the latest numbers of “encounters,” from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Biden’s handlers have devoted themselves to dismantling the Trump administration’s effective enforcement policies. Vice President Kamala Harris, supposedly in charge of border enforcement, has shown no interest (brief video) in addressing the invasion, since the millions entering illegally are viewed as future democrat voters. With continually escalating prices, along with food and merchandise shortages, Biden’s approval ratings have fallen from tanking to being in the toilet — with a 42% approval rating. His $3.5 Trillion spending scheme which will indenture future generations of Americans is the “icing” on this putrid cake.
