AZ Rep. Paul Gosar’s House censure is political retribution

Make no mistake: His actual transgression is being a reliable conservative and Trump supporter

Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S., is a righteous Republican, ably representing Arizona’s 4th Congressional District since 2013. He was previously elected in 2010 to represent the 1st congressional district until redistricting altered the boundaries. Highly regarded in his field of dentistry in which he practiced from 1989 to 2010, Gosar was the recipient of Arizona Dental Association’s “Dentist of the Year” award, and was inducted into the association’s Hall of Fame. This background attests to the high regard in which he has been held by his professional peers prior to retirement to represent Arizonans in congress.

As a dedicated conservative, Congressman Gosar, (this link provides his enviable congressional ratings and full bio) who has consistently won his elections by wide margins, is a frequent target of the left, which is why SRAZ has ignored the recent absurd and politically-motivated censure intending to marginalize the well-respected congressman based on a brief, symbolic cartoon video posted by his staff. Now removed, it depicted Gosar in a fantasy battle with radical leftist and open border fanatic Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Pres. Let’s Go Brandon.

This is Congressman Gosar’s outstanding response to the democrats attempts to cancel him via censure. The final sentence includes a copy of the prepared floor remarks given by Congressman Gosar. Two Republicrat Reps. Liz Cheney (WY) and Adam Kinzinger (IL) joined the unified dems.

Arizonans are fortunate to have this accomplished and dedicated leader representing us in the U.S. Congress. Although Dr. Gosar is elected by the voters in the 4th congressional district, he represents us all in Washington, DC. — for which we can be proud and grateful.

The fact that a cartoon aimed at left-wing lunatic and anti-Semite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has caused this much outrage shows that dems can’t take the truth as they continually dole out deception. She and her like-minded “squad” spew venomous hatred and get away with it, while Congressman Gosar is reviled for an animated cartoon? This makes no sense.

  2. Observer says:

One question. Where are the rest of the GOP members of the Arizona delegation raising their voices to protest this action against their exemplary colleague U,S. Rep. Paul Gosar? Are they that intimidated by the loud demoncraps? I find their silence infuriating as well as disappointing.

    • Braveheart says:

My best guess is they are showing what wienies they are not wanting to get involved in something they worry could peel votes away from them in their own upcoming elections. That any Republicans would clam up rather support one of their own when fallacious charges are brought by the left is reprehensible. How do they expect respect when they abandon one of their own? I am thoroughly disgusted!

The left shows they are nothing short of contortionists, turning the video exposing the chaos at our border into advocating violence against women!! My parents were democrats who came from LEGAL immigrant families who immigrated through Ellis Island. They would not recognize “their” party today. I became a Republican in college, which they viewed as a black mark on their parenting skills. My affiliation was actually based on principles that I learned from them. As children of the Depression era, they received skewed information from the FDR regime. Before he died, my Dad told me he wanted to reregister as a Republican for years but thought it would create irreparable damage to his relationship with Mom, so he never switched but voted Republican in the voting booth. I kept his “secret.”

Great story! I suspect your Dad was not alone in hiding his views for the sake of household peace. Today he would have had a much harder time concealing his ballot on the kitchen table. Another reason to limit automatic mail-in ballots.

  4. one who knows says:

LD19 Chairman Shelby Busch: As many of you are aware, Congress censured Congressman Gosar and stripped him of his committee seats. We have collaborated with others to launch a very simple signature campaign. We have written a letter that we are asking people to sign online. We then plan to print EVERY document and hand deliver them to Congress and ask that it be entered into the Congressional Record in opposition to his censure. Congressman Gosar has stood by us, we need to stand by him. Please read the letter, sign and share with your PCs, friends and network. We are looking for thousands. Contact Busch at (602) 574-2376

  5. Trevor says:

Paul Gosar will still deliver results for our great state despite that b*tch Liz Cheney and crybaby Adam siding with the socialists. Paul may have made a tremendous mistake regarding his backing of Jeff Flake in high heels in a dress for Governor but that does not affect it at all. For those democrats and two RINOS caving in to strip him of his committee assignments should be ASHAMED of themselves!

  6. StetsonXXX says:

US Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, need to switch parties. They have no allegiance to the party they chose to use to their own advantages. These traitors, cashing in on aligning with the dims whims against a staunch conservative such as Congressman Paul Gosar, will not be missed..

    Joseph Bickley, Sr.,

Once again, we thank you for your keen editing skills, Eliminating the single word you suggested clarified our intended meaning. Your effort on SRAZ’s behalf is very much appreciated.

  8. Fed Up says:

I wish U.S. Rep. Gosar represented us. We are “represented” by one of the two falling down drunk AZ congressional dems, who is also an opportunistic interloper, who moved out of the Northern AZ district where she was despised and relocated in Southern AZ.. Ann Kirkpatrick is finally retiring after repeatedly falling while drunk. Though she was endorsed by the AZ Repugnant newspaper in 2010, she lost to Paul Gosar which caused her to relocate. She is pro-abortion and supported Obamacare. Nuff said?
