Tonight Americans look forward, with trepidation, to ringing in the New Year, after four years of the Trump presidency, with a leader who fulfilled his campaign promises and brought unparalleled prosperity to our nation.

Throughout 2021 we suffered through supply shortages in every sector, astronomically escalating prices, gas that is projected to reach $6 a gallon, food that has skyrocketed in price — causing a trip to the grocery store to be shock inducing — and yet another COVID variant.

We are led by a president who is incapable of speaking coherently and is seen as a fool on the world stage, even falling asleep* during the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference. An aide gently whispered in his ear, to bring him back to reality. After several falls, one resulting in a broken foot, he reportedly practices walking in an erect manner. Biden wandered off the stage looking for a chair, when his wife urged U.S. Military members standing behind her to sit down. She had to direct him like a child, saying, “Joe, pay attention!” Other such embarrassing events are too numerous to list.

The thought that VP Cackling Kamala, with a senate voting record to the left of self-described “democratic socialist” Bernie Sanders, is next in the line of ascendance is equally horrifying. The non-partisan GovTrack.us website rated Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) the most left-wing member of the Senate in 2019 — further left than Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. The chart is no longer available.

AZ Republic reneges on subscribers third time since Sept.

Are sporadic deliveries the new normal? Will bills deduct missing issues?

Following the announcement that there would be no Labor Day delivery to subscribers — ostensibly to give workers the day to spend with family — the Arizona Republic newspaper shut down the print editions for three days over Christmas. The latest insult to its remaining subscribers is the lack of a New Year’s edition, which “will combine the Thursday, Friday and Saturday editions into a single Dec. 30, publication.“ In truth, it’s a cost cutting matter for the failing paper that has long been hemorrhaging subscriptions.

The decisions are not based in magnanimity, rather a ruthless look at the bottom line and a realization the newspaper, alternatively known as the AZ Repugnant (among other less complimentary terms) is about to join this infamous list, and wants to minimize the loss sooner rather than later. Buyouts of contracts and layoffs have been commonplace since the troubles began to mount, resulting in being bought out following being forced to sell its ten-story building and parking garage and the abrupt firing of longtime, Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist, Steve Benson, who it was no longer able to afford. Advertising revenue has plummeted and even stalwarts such as Walgreens Drugs Sunday sale insert and Sprout’s Grocery ads have vanished. The only hope of continuing is to ditch the hardcopy editions and transition to an all digital version, with few costs involved. From there it will be the trash heap of history for the formerly conservative newspaper that lost its way on the path to obliteration as it focused on promoting the illegal alien invasion.

2022 is just days away. Americans are used to instant news rather than day-old rehashes flung on the driveway or walkway.  Any news source readers’ desire is as close as their pocket. We are also able to think and are fed up with skewed, leftist agendized spew being regurgitated via biased coverage passing as news, editorials that could be written by the DNC and columnists who don’t even try to disguise their hatred of conservative elected officials. They lost, and never regained, all sense of rationality when Republican Donald Trump beat scandal-plagued, liar Hillary Clinton, who the Arizona newspaper endorsed and later whimpered, claiming it received death threats for doing so.

In a marriage, when one party welches on their commitment, a divorce ensues. In this case, there is no mention of extending the subscription for the paid-for days or deducting payment for the non-delivered issues. This bilking of mostly elderly subscribers, is known as a scam and should be treated as the theft it is.

The Arizona Citizen, later known as the Tucson Citizen, began publishing when Arizona was still a territory. In 1976, the Citizen was sold to Gannett Company, Inc. The last print edition was delivered on May 16, 2009. The digital successor site, TucsonCitizen.com, closed on January 31, 2014. The AZ Repugnant will suffer the same fate.

Biden’s disastrous economy will sabotage democrats

In the waning days of 2021, the devastating economy is clearly the major story of the year. Looking ahead to the 2022 elections, there’s no doubt the spiraling inflation rates which drastically cut into purchasing power will not only be the central issue, but will be responsible for a massive rejection of democrats and the policies they support.

The disastrous Afghanistan pullout, leaving Americans and our allies stranded in the now-Taliban-controlled stronghold signaled the advent of Biden’s blunderous administration. That debacle, aligned with the downward spiraling economy, his open border policies and deception on having a “strategy” to defeat COVID, have contributed to his plummeting poll numbers…which will be reflected nationwide at the midterm elections, proving Biden is good for something.

Biden acknowledges inflation, which has risen by nearly 7%, will go even higher. Displaying his disconnect to reality, he ridiculously places the blame for this brutal hit to American families squarely on former Pres. Donald Trump, though the economy soared to unparallel heights under Trump’s able leadership.

Biden’s handlers, speechwriters and coaches, appear to have forgotten that their meal ticket is the one with diminished capabilities, not the voters who are rejecting his policies in ever-increasing numbers. They also have developed amnesia regarding the economy, which reached stellar pinnacles under the leadership of businessman Pres, Trump. Biden tells us his $multi-trillion Build Back Better scheme is already paid for and will cost us nothing, an absurd lie that fools no one.  

According to a Department of Labor report released earlier this month, price increases are widespread: Energy prices jumped 3.5% in November alone and are up 33.3% over last year. Gasoline is a stunning 58.1% higher than it was a year ago. Food prices have also climbed 6.1% higher this year, while used car and truck prices — a major component of the inflation increase — are up 31%. Contemplating a new car? Take your old one in for a tune-up, get it washed and detailed, fill the tank, spray the interior with air freshener. It will feel newer, and you won‘t be aiding Biden‘s disastrous economy which can only be fixed by sensible policies, which are beyond his grasp. Then commit to vote Republican in the upcoming primary and general elections.

Words matter: Those used to describe illegal activity define the crime

The National Pulse headlines its revealing report, “ U.S. Govt Chartered Christmas ‘Ghost Flights’ to Carry Illegal Migrants into Pennsylvania;” It’s a stunning exposé of the Biden administration’s maneuvers to flood the United States with foreign nationals in a concerted effort to permanently transform the political demographics of the United States.

We take exception to one aspect of the report. Although the authors correctly identify Biden’s administration as a “regime,” the misuse of the words “migrant” and “immigrant,” even when coupled with illegal is erroneous and plays directly into the left’s language manipulation. “Immigrant” actually refers to someone who enters the United States legally and applies for naturalized citizenship. We welcome them. Many of our own families followed that identical path. Erroneously referring to illegal invaders as “migrants” or “immigrants” has become the prevailing, though false, terminology of the left.

As we pointed out previously, migrants are best identified by the cliff swallows that annually make the 6,000-mile trip to San Juan Capistrano, California, from Goya, Argentina, and return home. They also do not present a health threat to Americans who are getting inoculated against an often deadly and easily transmitted virus. And while millions of Americans are unemployed, Biden is intent on importing workers to compete for American jobs.

This oddly undated directive from the Biden administration details the implementation of  “a six-pronged, comprehensive national strategy that employs the same science-based approach that was used to successfully combat previous variants of COVID-19 earlier this year.” It mentions the Delta variant, but omits Omicron, first identified in South Africa on Nov. 24, providing some idea of a timeline. While Biden lacks the authority to order everyone to comply, requiring federal workers and contractors doing business with the government to get immunized is within his purview. Public schools, through their leftist teacher’s unions,* have ordered shutdowns, and many parents have knuckled under to the pressure to mask and even vaccinate young children who are not carriers. Dr. Anthony Fauci has stated that double masking “makes common sense,” though Biden rarely wears a single one. It was not within a vacuum travel restrictions have increased and U.S. airlines cancelled 1,900 flights over Christmas weekend — including over 900 flights on Saturday — disrupting long-planned family holiday gatherings.

Tony Fauci didn’t stop there. He went even further, saying the United States should consider imposing a vaccination mandate for all domestic air travel. “When you make vaccination a requirement, that’s another incentive to get more people vaccinated,” he stated.  “I think that’s something that seriously should be considered.”

Next the little tyrant, who hasn’t seen a patient since he completed his residency in 1968 and proceeded directly to the National Institutes of Health, will call for mandatory quarantines, further destabilizing our lives and the shaky economy.

Biden’s operatives have ordered the Department of Health and Human Services to require hospitals and nursing homes, dependent on Medicaid and Medicare, and other entities that receive federal money, to require their employees be vaccination. Family members have been unable to be with seriously ill and dying loved ones due to the sweeping directives.

On Nov. 22, 2021, the Arizona Attorney General‘s Office** expanded this lawsuit to stop the Biden administration’s unconstitutional COVID-19 vaccine mandates for federal contractors and employees. The amended complaint adds the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (PLEA) and the United Phoenix Firefighters Association Local 493 (UPFA) as co-plaintiffs.

Slo Joe Biden “agrees” with “Let’s go Brandon!” chants

Duplicity abounds at the dying Arizona Republic

Unless you’re living under a rock, it’s a good bet you know how the slogan,“Let’s go Brandon!” originated and what those who use it are actually implying. Joe Biden isn’t under a rock. Slow Joe’s under a massive boulder.

On Christmas Eve, Joe and Jill Biden were supposedly taking calls into the North American Aerospace Defense Command Santa Tracker, which they claim “follows the progress of Santa’s reindeer-guided sleigh for millions of children.” The Biden’s are so committed to lying to American adults, they think they can pull off a similar scheme on children.

At the conclusion of one call, a father exclaimed, “Merry Christmas and Let’s go Brandon!”

“Let’s go Brandon, I agree,” a disconnected from reality Biden responded, before incoherently asking the dad if he was in Oregon. The call was then abruptly terminated by Biden‘s handlers.

The dying Arizona Republic,* which actually took three days off from delivering its skewed version of the news, didn’t cover this since it reveals Biden as incompetent as he is. It returned with an odd message in its Dec. 26, 2021 edition. In a report revealing that yet another democrat has resigned from the state legislature’s House and Senate. This one is not a crook or pedophile, but a member of the Navajo Nation, leaving to join the Biden administration. Mention is made of the low $24,000 salary, not being a livable wage for her.

Low, unlivable-wage salaries were never raised whenever pay increases have been on the ballot, and the newspaper consistently disparaged the idea, editorially and through its in-tandem, radically leftist columnists. A former columnist, turned arrogant PR guy, consistently referred to our lawmakers as undeserving “dwarfs.” The politically incorrect term got a workout. An online search reveals all references have been deleted.

That will soon be the fate of the local newspaper.

Shock poll: 41% of dem voters say cheating was likely in 2020 presidential election

According to a newly released Rasmussen Reports survey, (Dec. 21-22, 2021) an overwhelming majority of American voters believe Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s multimillion-dollar effort to influence the 2020 presidential election was a bad thing for democracy, and most still think cheating influenced the election outcome.

Imagine that!

The survey questions can be read here. Number 4 pointedly asks, “How likely is it that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election?” 79% of Republicans, 58% of unaffiliated voters, and a revealing 41% of democrats believe it is somewhat likely that cheating affected the 2020 election.

An earlier Rasmussen survey (Dec. 20, 2021) revealed a slim 30% of likely U.S. voters think the country is heading in the right direction — clearly illustrating buyer’s remorse on the part of democrats.

Shifty Schiff tries deflecting from his sordid connections by bashing Trump

U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) recently wrote a book. He’s had more time on his hands since his longtime pervert pal and generous donor, Ed Buck with nefarious roots in Arizona politics, has finally ended up in the slammer after being found guilty of nine felonies. Instead of hunkering down after the details of Buck’s horrific crimes emerged, leftist Schiff decided a good deflection would be to try smearing former President Donald Trump.

Schiff’s book titled, ‘Midnight in Washington: How We Almost Lost Our Democracy and Still Could,‘ is aimed at taking the onus off of Joe Biden and his unparalleled, disastrous presidency, exemplified by increased crime and laxity of punishment, the Afghanistan surrender debacle, record-breaking inflation, halting our energy self-reliance by shutting down the Keystone Pipeline while killing thousands of jobs and massive school and business closures related to his overreaches during the pandemic. These disasters are enhanced by Biden’s incompetence and obvious inability to function. Instead Schiff has gone into fling mode and following the adage of throw it on the wall and see what sticks, is not talking about testing the al dente doneness of a strand of spaghetti, but the darker and more fetid matter that nourishes the democrat hierarchy.

Following the now-disproved Russian collusion hoax perpetrated by Trump rival Hillary Clinton, Schiff made the rounds of network televised talk shows insisting that a probe of Trump was necessary.

Biden has torn down the border wall construction, surrendering our southern border to all comers worldwide — including drug dealers, human traffickers, child predators, murders, prospective terrorists, and other violent criminals, many of whom have been previously deported.  The U.S. Customs and Border Protection no longer reveals the disastrous invasion stats, but now functions as public relations for the administration complete with vision and mission statements. Biden is bankrupting America with his staggering $multi-trillion 2,465 page ‘Build Back Better’ war on reality spending scheme — but that is of no consequence as his handlers increase the momentum as crime soars and Soros-funded elected district attorneys make no effort to attach consequences to the criminality. Jobs have been lost at an alarming rate. Biden responds by putting more people on the dole, as the democrats lean further into socialism’s expansive government theme while caving to the demands of the radical teacher’s unions which funded him 6-1 over Pres. Trump.

An integral tool of the left, Speaker Nancy Pelosi named Schiff a lead impeachment manager in the fraudulent case brought against President Trump.

Prior to his incarceration, Ed Buck donated in excess of half-million dollars to top California democrats including current Gov. Gavin Newsom, former Gov. Jerry Brown, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, and LA District Attorney Jackie Lacey. His generous donations to AZ U.S. Sen. AZ Republic announces its transition to a former newspaper

It was not unexpected from the blatantly leftist, Hillary-endorsing, Trump-hating newspaper. The dwindling number remaining readers of what was previously a reliable, conservative newspaper, named the Arizona Republican when it first appeared in 1890, has now proclaimed its own demise.

This Nov. 15, 2021 post, “Arizona Republic admits it’s dying,” followed the unprecedented announcement that it was shutting down home delivery on Labor Day: “In an effort to allow our team time off to spend with their families on Labor Day, there will be no home delivery today. We appreciate your understanding.  Normal delivery will resume Tuesday, September 7th.”

Today, November 22, 2021, there is a new stunner in the form of this pre-Christmas and New Year’s announcement, headlined in the hardcopy, “We won’t have Christmas or New Year’s newspapers.“  The on-line version further insults the remaining readers, with this revised headline, “The Arizona Republic won’t be printing a holiday newspaper. Here’s how to find the latest news and your favorite puzzles, comics.” The inference is the publisher regards readers as mainly dolts who do puzzles and read comics.  It adds, “Customer service hours are limited.” That’s of little significance since the underpaid folks you reach in the Philippines have no control over the decisions made thousands of miles away.

The front page coverage of the Turning Point USA four-day rally in Phoenix, featuring national headliners was dismissed as if it was a clown show instead of thousands of conservative activists; many energized young voters, prepping for the upcoming elections.

The most recent announcement buried on Page 4, says: “This holiday season we are combining our Thursday, Friday and Saturday print editions of The Arizona Republic into a single newspaper.”

This is the newspaper’s ultimate goal. Printing and distribution costs exceed the income from mostly retirement community readers and snowbirds. Digital editions have few costs involved.

Will the newspaper refund the subscription prices?  Not a chance. This is the same newspaper that encourages auto-pay rather than monthly bills, which they are now imposing a $5 monthly fee for mailing.
