Separatism is the new leftist theme as evidenced by BLM advocating boycotts of white-owned businesses
The diversity-promoting Arizona Republic which bases its hiring on DNA, has written numerous articles extolling the merits of supporting black-owned businesses, through a project known as ‘Buy Black Phoenix.’ This article, headlined, ‘Buy Black Phoenix’ campaign urges support of African-American-owned businesses,’ was given prominence in 2016.
Race-based shopping has been a constant theme. In Nov. 2021 the dying newspaper* ran this report, ‘From bookstores to beauty shops, 25 Black-owned businesses in metro Phoenix.’
There’s nothing that reaches the irrationality of promoting businesses based on immutable characteristics of the owners. We won’t hold our breath waiting for endorsements of freckled, redheaded business owners, or those of Asian or Middle Eastern ethnicities — nor should we. Such absurdities would be equally as insulting both to the business owners and shoppers.
In response to the foolish adherence to DNA as a rational reason for giving your business to a store owned by a specific ethnicity proprietor, Black Lives Matter recently jumped into the fray…not by encouraging shopping in specific stores, but by exclusively urging boycotting “white owned” businesses over the holidays shopping season.
Human Events tops its must-read coverage with this headline, “BLM Calls for Boycott of White Companies” During Holiday Season.” It’s important to be aware of the divisiveness that is given prominence on the LSM…’Lame Stream Media.”
This incendiary race-based venom is directly from the excellent Human Events exposé:
“The boycott is being promoted under the hashtag #BlackXmas and #BuyBlack, among others.
**White-supremacist-capitalism uses policing to protect profits and steal Black life,” an Instagram post by the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation reads. “Skip the Black Friday sales and buy exclusively from Black-owned businesses.”

I shop businesses that have what I’m looking for. I’m not concerned with the race or beliefs of the owners and have no way of knowing them if it mattered.

Judging by my mail delivery person (I would never want to offend by using the wrong terminology) who wears an outfit I’ve never seen anyone else wear and arrives in a white box with an audible motor that has the ability to beam lights from its front end, I have every reason the post office is controlled by Martians. I’m troubled mailing packages and buying stamps from these outsiders. Should I boycott?
