CD 9 “GOP” candidate Alex Stovall: A fraud among us

Stovall videotaped saying, “The Republican Party is disgusting to me. The stuff that they’re doing should be criminal and they should all be thrown in prisons. ”

Bloviating Alex Stovall claims to be a lot of things. He’s a stockbroker with his own commodities business. He’s also a chaplain — with degrees in theology and divinity — a filmmaker, a model and a PhD candidate, studying psychology with an emphasis on human behavior. Stovall ought to study his own, which is fraught with a bizarre proclivity for deception.

Although Stovall says he served as the “Regional Director for the Southeast Region for BLEXIT, the organization he identifies as “for black Americans who walked away from the democrat party,” there is no mention of that position or Stovall on its website. Professing his “passion is in reforming the systems that are currently broken that have been neglecting and suppressing Arizona residents for decades,” he’s clearly part of the political charade he contends he abhors. BLEXIT was co-founded by conservative political commentator and activist Candace Owens, who Stovall says he would never invite to a Christmas party and Arizonan Brandon Tatum, a former Tucson police officer, linked here on the Rubin Report.

Stovall’s website identifies the political farce as “running for Congress right here in Arizona’s 9th District as a proud American patriot and Republican.” There is no mention of the facts exposed by Gateway Pundit’s investigative reporter Jordan Conradson, including that Stovall is unemployed after being fired by Consumer Cellular, where he answered phone calls. His website states he “helps his brother as an acting caretaker.” His political experience? Nil.

Though an announced candidate, Stovall has not responded to Ballotpedia’s 2022 Candidate Connection survey. The website notes that he ”previously declared his candidacy in Congressional District 7 and withdrew” — before opportunistically switching to CD 9.

National File has also revealed the deceptive Alex Stovall and James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has videotaped him. Watch as bogus Republican Stovall clearly states, “The Republican Party is disgusting,”

So grateful to Project Veritas for the great undercover videos they provide. I’ve watched them over the years and have always been amazed at what they reveal to otherwise unaware voters. Thanks for posting this video expose.

  2. Longtime GOP PC says:

Alex Stovall’s district switch in the same cycle is an odd move. Wonder what the actual back story to that is. This guy strikes me as an untrustworthy opportunist.

  3. Arizona Conservative Guy says:

Thanks for this information. We need to keep in mind that there are too many trying to con us. Governor candidate Kari Lake and her husband were democrats who donated generously to Barack Obama’s and John Kerry‘s presidential campaigns. She also gave a hearty, last minute video support of Obama’s pick, Merrick Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court, which thankfully didn’t occur, although he is now Biden’s far left, pro-abortion, U.S. Attorney General, using the FBI to threaten school boards:

Despite her extremist background Kari Lake now declares she’s a “conservative.” She’s another fraud.

  4. No Name Please says:

Fake Lake is the perfect label for this deceptive, demoncrat phony. She has nothing to recommend her for the top job in the state except her insatiable ambition and love of attention. She’s arrogant, foul-mouthed and rude. Arizona would be the national laughing stock with her at the helm of state. She knows nothing about the business of state agencies. interacting with the legislature or….obviously….statewide and appellate level judicial appointments.

  5. Jack says:

Political conservatism represents the lens through which issues are viewed by those who are informed.

Alex Stovall has no idea what the words mean. He’s a con man, who should be running with Kari Lake. They are both self serving leftists.

I wish Project Veritas had disclosed Lake’s background with one of their powerful videos. Too many uninformed Arizonans are being taken in.

  6. jojo says:

I do believe this paper supported the POLITICAL CONSERVATISM of the democrat McCain & family. PDJT was a democrat and donated to many democrat campaigns before he became a Republian. He’s the best president we’ve ever had and actually APPLIED CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES to decisions he made. I’m done with the term “conservative”. McCain and the left-over McCain stains are still considered conservative and they are off my list of candidates to consider.

    • D. B. Cooper says:

Which “paper” are you referring to? The Arizona Republic worshiped McCain because he was as leftwing as it is, though he called himself a Republican for convenience and to get elected to retiring John Rhodes seat when he initially ran.

The word “conservative has a very definite meaning to Republicans who use it to separate ourselves from the RINOs who have tried to overtake our party. There is no discernible difference between them and the dems. Many of us refer to ourselves as Constitutional Conservatives. I’ve been active in the GOP long enough to know that there are those who have tried to con us by running as “Republicans” when they hope to benefit from the label, but have proven themselves to be leftists as were McCain and Jeff Flake. Kari Lake and Rodney Glassman are two current standouts in that department, as is the lesser known Stovall. Conservatives are prolife and pro-Second Amendment. Glassman, who ran for (and lost numerous offices as a democrat) was previously endorsed by Planned Parenthood the nation’s largest abortion mill. Kari Lake endorsed pro-abortion liberal Merrick Garland for the US Supreme Court. Donald Trump, who grew up in liberal NY, matured into a conservative and was a top-notch president.

  7. East Valley Conservative says:

There is a Stovall clone running for the AZ state legislature named Christian LaMar. He was outed at his district meeting as having previously admitting he was a democrat and voted for Barack Obama both times he ran for president! LaMar became a PC in order to run as a Republican.

I don’t live in the district, don’t even know the number and wasn’t there. One of the candidates at the meeting told me about the stunning reveal. LaMar said he didn’t know enough then. Now he’s become a genius when he wants a job. Hope he loses big. We don’t need more fake opportunists in our party. He and Kari Lake have a lot in common.

LaMar’s also being sued in justice court by a debt-collection organization: https://unicourt.com/case/az-maj3-midland-funding-llc-vs-christian-lamar-89280
