Once the new rules are in effect, manufacturers will be required to sell only energy-efficient light bulbs. Preposterously, this sleigh of hand tries to convince Americans we will save $100 yearly, while a single loaf of bread has risen in price by over $5.19 according to this scrollable Consumer Price Index, via the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Citing unsubstantiated figures in 2009, Barack Obama claimed the new efficiency standards he promoted for lamps “would result in substantial savings between 2012 and 2042, saving consumers up to $4 billion annually, conserving enough energy to power every U.S. home for 10 months, reducing emissions equal to the amount produced by 166 million cars a year, and eliminating the need for as many as 14 coal-fired power plants.”

A prolific liar, Obama was banking on the fact that the majority of those who heard his message would no longer be above ground using energy.

Local reporter’s conflict doesn’t rate a blip on dem’s integrity meter

The biased, blatantly leftist, Hillary-endorsing, local newspaper, is clearly on its last legs, going downhill faster than any of these U.S. Olympic skiers.

Following a rash of contract buyouts, severe staff cutbacks, even unceremoniously firing its longtime Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist due to a cash squeeze, losing the newspaper‘s building and parking garage, and culminating in the ghostlike entity being sold. Its two mundane columnists were pressed into service as bombastic political flame throwers. Their intended victims are, of course, Republicans, who are routinely hammered.

Arizona’s GOP members of congress are consistently defamed as are state-and-county-wide elected Republicans.

Ethics are thrown to the wind as demonizing Republicans is the sole purpose for the disreputable rag’s bleak existence. However, in a rare flicker of honesty, former sob-story columnist turned flame thrower-Laurie Roberts wrote: “Add Secretary of State Katie Hobbs to the ever-lengthening list of Democrats who have figured out that President Joe Biden is about to deal a body blow to the party’s November prospects.”

She also chastens dem Hobbs for expediently changing her stance on Title 42, the public health policy initiated by Pres. Trump, to more appropriately address the guidelines intended to restrict illegal aliens — Roberts warmly refers to them “asylum seekers“— from blatantly breaching our sovereign border. The problem is exacerbated during the deadly Covid pandemic, which appears to be resurging, as they arrive untested and are transported to points unknown, across the United States by the Biden administration. This irrational scheme, courtesy of frail Joe Biden‘s surrogates, uses our tax dollars to facilitate the reconstructing of America into a reliably expanded left-wing, third world country.

As Roberts uncharacteristically vents her ire at dem Secretary of State Hobbs, she stands unsteadily on a very thin line in doing so. The Secretary of State oversees statewide elections. Roberts’ sister, Ann Timmer, sits on the Arizona Supreme Court and appears on the retention ballot. Another complication is the spouse of a female Republican candidate challenging Hobbs for Secretary of State, also sits on the high court. Odds are, she is unlikely to win the GOP Primary Election, against Trump-endorsed former state legislator Mark Finchem, but the appearance of impropriety is problematic.

In the unlikely event Roberts doesn’t know the parameters. It’s a good bet her black-robed sister and her identically garbed colleague do.

Today’s comprehensive edition of the Morning Consult headlines,“Biden’s Net Approval Rating Is Underwater in 40 States,”zones in on Arizona, which it describes as being pivotal to his 2020 election.

Ben Shapiro writing for Breitbart in 2012, exposed Anita Dunn, then Obama’s presidential debate coach, as previously admitting that Mao Zedong, the late dictator of Communist China who slaughtered tens of millions of people refusing to adhere to his Marxist “philosophy” is her favorite political philosopher, quickly adding Mother Teresa for wider appeal.

Now comes a bombshell newspaper report, headlined, “Karrin Taylor Robson drops controversial fundraising tactic after questions about refunds to donors.” It reveals disreputable techniques employed by her campaign to place people, often senior citizens, who unwittingly used pre-checked boxes to make a donation recurring on a repetitive list that continued to take money from their accounts. Rather than opting in to make habitual future donations, contributors had to opt-out. As much as we would cringe linking to the far left, failing publication, the reveal of Karrin Kunasek Taylor Robson’s shady fundraising techniques would be worthy, however it is available only “for subscribers.”

The newspaper report deceptively states, ”Fundraising pages show Taylor Robson was following Trump’s playbook by using pre-checked boxes and indirect language about recurring donations. Her fundraising pitches in texts and on web pages also sometimes invoked Trump or other high-profile politicians not affiliated with Taylor Robson’s campaign.”

Though she is mischaracterized as being a Trump fan, nothing could further from the truth, as we noted in ”Trump in Phx today! Allies, foes will feel effect.” Karrin Kunasek Taylor Robson was “unable to attend” the massive July, 24, 2021 Trump rally, citing “scheduling conflicts.”

The important takeaway is that the woman with a lengthy string of last names, and an elderly, mega-wealthy, indulgent developer husband, who has given her free reign to mostly self-fund her campaign, is only on the up and up when her duplicitous fundraising scheme is revealed.

Don’t be misled by this political charlatan, who has suddenly made the chaotic border her main issue as she seeks to connect with conservative voters — something that has never previously been on her radar.

Biden’s border crisis, Title 42 loom large as midterms near

Joe Biden and his administration’s open border cohorts are facing the political backlash of American citizens who have had their fill of the realities of the border crisis. Fear of losing congressional and statewide seats is causing Biden’s handlers to rethink their stated goal of dismantling Title 42, (succinctly explained by the Heritage Foundation) put in place by President Trump to address the pubic health realities of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other media outlets routinely cover what the leftist Arizona Republic massages or outright ignores. The fact is that in addition to the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who continually violate our sovereign border, criminals and individuals on terror watch lists have been detained by Border Patrol agents, as reported by The New York Post.

The catastrophic problems were exacerbated during the onset of the COID-19 pandemic.  President Trump addressed the realities with Title 42, which Biden’s handlers were committed to dismantling with the same urgency as they tore down the much needed border wall.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors announced the appointment of Rachel Mitchell as Maricopa County Attorney in this April 20, 2022 news bulletin. But it’s not over for the well-qualified office veteran Mitchell who was the chief deputy and then served as interim Maricopa County Attorney following Montgomery’s move. After an August GOP Primary with two other declared candidates — who would do us all a favor by sitting this race out — she’ll face a democrat running for the position in the November 22 General Election. The winner will serve as county attorney through 2024.
