Hunter Biden news you won’t read in the leftist AZ Republic

August 31, 2022

Top FBI agent accused of protecting Hunter Biden RESIGNS…” appearing in the U.K.‘s Daily Mail is definitely worthy of your time. The well-researched report provides fact-based coverage you’ll never encounter in the OBiden-supporting, Hillary-endorsing, Trump-despising, dying via attrition, local Arizona newspaper — a relic, which lacks influence.

Abortion called “health care” by AZ Planned Parenthood

August 30, 2022

“Reproductive Rights advocates” deceptive term used to conceal profitable death industry

In today’s America with Bidinflation destroying our economy, purchasing power, and quality of life, the leftwing Arizona Republic newspaper instead gives front page and jump page placement to the resumption of abortions by Planned Parenthood — which assists in “planning“ your family by butchering some of them. The report whines about the fact that baby killing, which is described as a “service,” will currently resume only in Tucson.

Nevertheless, the proponents have found reason to rejoice. “Our staff, everyone at Planned Parenthood Arizona, we are just so incredibly excited to be able to serve our community again in this way with essential abortion care,” according to a quote from Brittany Fonteno, CEO of Arizona Planned Parenthood. “No matter what happens we’re going to continue fighting for our patients and their ability to access this health care.”

Despite the ambiguous language, “health care,” when referred to by Planned Parenthood, means certain death to the babies the cult of death refuses to refer to as preborn human infants. Fonteno also uses the terms “reproductive rights advocates” to describe those advocating for and profiting from abortion, as well as “pregnant person,” in an apparent effort not to offend transgender people who offend easily.

Abortion is a lucrative business.

Life News headlined its 2021 report, “Planned Parenthood Brought in $1.6 Billion, Made $70 Million Profit From Killing Babies in Abortions.”

Fulfilling Biden admin’s agenda: Census distortions benefit democrats

August 29, 2022

The U.S. Census takes place every ten years. The fundamental reason for the headcount, according to the U.S.  Census Bureau’s website is to comply with “The Constitution of the United States, Article I, Section 2, which states. “Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers…”

“Apportionment is the process of dividing the 435 memberships, or seats, in the U.S. House of Representatives among the 50 states, based on the state population counts that result from each decennial census. These results determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives for the next 10 years.”

Obviously it is critically important. With democrats in control, vigilance is crucial — which is why we direct our readers to  “Census Bureau Admits Overcounting 7 Blue States, Just 1 Red State,” written by Hans von Spakovsky, whose impressive bio follows his photo.

The Census Bureau, mandated by the U.S. Constitution, is part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Its qualified director Robert L. Santos, is irrelevantly identified as being the first Hispanic to head the agency. He was appointed by Joe Biden, who puts a premium on genetic factors outside of our control.

Even the FBI, whose stated mission is to “Protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States,” has shamefully fallen into the Diversity and Inclusion contrivance.

A method to the Mar-a-Lago break-in madness & UPDATE

August 28, 2022

Contrived raid of Trump’s home was not conducted in a vacuum

U.S. District Judge Aileen Mercedes Cannon, nominated by President Trump to the Southern District of Florida in 2020, has announced her “preliminary intent” to appoint a special master to review documents taken by the FBI during an unauthorized Aug. 8, raid of President Trump’s Florida home. Former First Lady Melania Trump’s personal closet was also ransacked. The family was not in residence at the time of the forced entry.

Trump and his legal team have filed a motion seeking an independent review of the records seized by the FBI during its invasion of Mar-a-Lago, saying the decision to search his private residence just months before the 2022 midterm elections “involved political calculations aimed at diminishing the leading voice in the Republican Party, President Trump.”

That’s known as an undeniable truism.

On Saturday afternoon Judge Cannon wrote in a filing that the decision was made upon the review of Trump’s submissions and “the exceptional circumstances presented,” adding, “Pursuant to Rule 53(b) (1) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Court’s inherent authority, and without prejudice to the parties’ objections, the Court hereby provides notice of its preliminary intent to appoint a special master in this case.”

A hearing is set for Sept.1, at 1:00 p.m. in West Palm Beach, Florida. Judge Cannon also ordered the Justice Department to file a response by Aug. 30, and provide, “under seal,” a “more detailed Receipt for Property specifying all property seized pursuant to the search warrant executed on August 8, 2022.”

The OBiden administration authorized the tyrannical break-in in response to what it claimed to be “a violation of federal laws: 18 USC 793 — gathering, transmitting or losing defense information; 18 USC 2071 — concealment, removal or mutilation; and 18 USC 1519 — destruction, alteration or falsification of records in federal investigations.” U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland must be working overtime to come up with these contrivances to politically hobble former President Trump, since the allegation of “gathering, transmitting or losing defense information” fall under the Espionage Act.

The fact that President Trump and his legal experts dispute the classification, stating they believe the information and records have been declassified, is inconsequential.

For pertinent background concerning this effort to permanently marginalize former President Trump, read, “What Released Affidavit Reveals About FBI’s Mar-a-Lago Raid,” at The Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal. Zack Smith and John G. Malcolm’s legal credentials add heft to this excellent report.

A special “Weekend reading guaranteed to make you smarter”

August 27, 2022

Seeing Red AZ has occasionally used the title, “Weekend reading guaranteed to make you smarter,” bringing our readers such nationally acclaimed conservative luminaries as historian Victor Davis Hanson, constitutional law expert Mark Levin or previously, Professors Thomas Sowell (ret. 2016) and Walter Williams (d. 2020).

Today we feature former Arizona Congressman J.D. Hayworth, now a broadcaster and columnist who knows more than a thing or two about Arizona politics. His most recent column, ‘Sinematic’ moment for Arizona’s senior senator, published in the Mesa Tribune is both entertaining and informative.

Take time to read it. You’ll be glad you did.

Biden falls in polls as Trump surges ahead

August 26, 2022

Yahoo! News, known for its far left bias, admits that former President Trump’s favorability rating has increased among voters in general, and Republicans in particular, following the unprecedented Aug. 8 raid on his Mar-a-Lago family home by FBI agents. Donald Trump has also widened his lead over potential challenger Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by 18 points. Significantly, 57% of Republicans now say Trump would be a stronger candidate in 2024 than he was in 2020 — with only 17% taking the opposite view. Sixty-two (62%) of those polled say he is helping rather than hurting (22%) the GOP.

In an unusual turnabout, substantial majorities of Republicans and 2020 Trump voters — groups that traditionally favor law enforcement — now express negative views about the FBI, the Department of Justice and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland.

A Yahoo! News poll taken in July had even more dismal results for dems. Only 18% of Americans polled said Joe Biden should run for reelection in 2024 — the lowest number to date. Nearly two-thirds (64%) say he should bow out. They obviously haven’t realized he already has, even while sitting in the White House.

Maricopa County Recorder Richer seeks support after alleging threats

August 25, 2022

The headline, “Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer talks threats,” must have been so effective it was used in two consecutive, identical articles — both Tuesday and Wednesday — in the failing local leftwing newspaper whose readership has fallen to all-time lows and reports are often repeated.

Elected as a Republican, the former democrat was in his comfortable element when he appeared with CNN’s Erin Burnett, calling then-President Trump, “Unhinged.” The negative epithet proved so valuable, the newspaper used it in oversized type towering over a large photo of Richer and those who claimed they found no discrepancies in the 2000 election results that put Joe Biden over the top in Arizona, despite state, county and congressional Republicans reliably winning election or reelections.

The newspaper’s former sob-story columnist, now conscripted as a tedious political pot-stirrer, comes to Richer’s defense, something that would be anathema if he was an actual conservative rather than just playing one when convenient — an increasingly less frequent occurrence. She even devoted a column to Seeing Red AZ’s dissatisfaction with Richer, who we erroneously endorsed when we initially bought into his conservative contrivance. We will not link to her haughty attempt to marginalize us, or send our readers to the head-spinning environs of radicalism.

The hard truth is we made a colossal mistake. After years of Helen Purcell’s leadership as Maricopa County Recorder, we were not prepared for Richer’s duplicity.

Fraidy Katie Hobbs runs from AZ’s governor’s debate

August 24, 2022

Hobbs bobs as she ignores and insults voters

Democrat Katie Hobbs wants to be governor, but refuses to engage in a debate with her Republican counterpart Kari Lake. Arizona voters should be able to hear her repeat her mantra posted on her campaign website, “As governor, I will fearlessly work to increase access to abortion services.” Hobbs also opined, “Let me be clear — the decision to have a child should rest solely between a woman and her doctor.” In Hobbs’ convoluted world, fathers are irrelevant. Describing her previous career as a social worker, Hobbs clumsily referred to herself as “a domestic violence advocate.”

Debates have been prominent features in political campaigns since Nixon and Kennedy debated in 1960.

Hobbs no doubt fears a debate will focus negative attention on her, when as then-senate minority leader she was party to a discrimination lawsuit filed against the senate in Federal Court by Talonya Adams a lawyer/policy advisor for the Arizona Senate democrats. Ms. Adams alleged racial and sexual discrimination based on asking to be paid as much as her white male counterparts.

According to this 12 News report, Hobbs was less than two months into her job as minority leader when Adams was fired. Adams had been in her policy adviser position for three years. The jury awarded Ms. Adams $2.75 million. Katie Hobbs issued an apology…which is more than Arizona voters can expect as she hides from them, refusing to debate for the state’s top job.

The Citizens Clean Elections Commission site lists all upcoming debates which will be televised on “AZ PBS on Arizona Horizon.” The Arizona governor’s debate is scheduled for Oct. 5, at 6 PM. There is even a designated spot to submit debate questions. Democrat Katie Hobbs is the only candidate for statewide office who has not agreed to debate. Will Republican candidate Kari Lake debate an empty chair as Clint Eastwood did at the 2012 Republican National Convention?

Highest paid federal employee is retiring, won’t be missed

August 23, 2022

Struggling taxpayers trying to navigate the perils of Bidenflation will still pay Fauci

Dr. Anthony Fauci began his over-a-half-century career at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in 1968. He assumed his National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director position in 1984 and has advised every president since President Ronald Reagan, though he served directly under the NIH Director Francis Collins who retired last year, ghoulishly exposed here in the Federalist.

Hyped as the nation’s top infectious disease expert, Fauci qualifies for a full federal pension and social security under pre-1984 federal pension reform rules. He made $417,608 in 2019, the latest year for which federal salaries are available, according to Forbes. That made him not only the highest paid doctor in the federal government, but the highest paid of all four million federal employees. Fauci even tops the $400,000 salary of the President of the United States.

Tony Fauci went to work for the National Institutes of Health 54 years ago as a 27-year-old who had just finished medical residency — no doubt the last time he wore a stethoscope or touched a patient.

In mid-June, the NIH issued this press release confirming that Fauci had contracted COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated and boosted twice, making us question the desirability of the vaccine Fauci has relentlessly promoted.  Could it be that the little man who does better with cash than contagions, has been getting a cut of the vaccine profits?

National File exposed Fauci photographed with George Soros and Bill Gates’ father, identified as the ‘Head of Planned Parenthood,’ he prefers to hob and nob with. Check out the cast of characters.

Border Security: Which deceitful Mark Kelly do we believe?

August 22, 2022

Vote Trump-endorsed Blake Masters for AZ Senate

The NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) is the only national organization solely devoted to strengthening the Republican Senate majority and electing Republicans to the U.S. Senate. It provides invaluable support and assistance to current and prospective Republican U.S. Senate candidates in the areas of budget planning, election law compliance, fundraising, and communications tools, including messaging, research and strategy. Elections to the U.S. Senate will be held on November 8, 2022, and 34 of the 100 6-year seats are up for regular election.

NRSC recently launched two ads exposing deceptive Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly. This one is titled, AZ: Soft. Another, Suave, is a Spanish language video. Ballotpedia has a hoverable” interactive map loaded with pertinent information.

When Joe Biden issued this “Proclamation on the Termination Of Emergency With Respect To The Southern Border Of The United States And Redirection Of Funds Diverted To Border Wall Construction,“ in 2021, Mark Kelly was silent. Kelly continues to ignore the ever-worsening border crisis.

The Biden administration’s open borders and amnesty agenda makes our country and the communities near our southern border less safe. Sen. Mark Kelly has consistently voted in Washington to fuel the border crisis, turning Arizona into a sanctuary state. Waiting for Kelly to begin fighting to protect Arizona families is a fool’s errand.  Deceitful Kelly is exposed as conveniently forgetting that he voted along with ALL of his Senate democrat colleagues against an amendment intended to keep Title 42 in place.

Earlier this year, the Arizona Sheriff’s Association sent this letter to Arizona Sens. Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema, imploring them to “take action and not wait another day to address the border crisis in our home state.” The Sheriffs declared it was “negligent to let another day, week, month, or year pass without Arizona’s U.S. Senators leading on a solution to solve the revolving door border policy that negatively affects our state.”

The dedicated law enforcement officials obviously forgot who they were writing to.

Check out Blake Master’s website.  He vows to secure the border and end illegal immigration; stop the Biden crime wave, and focus on an America First: Strong and Smart National Defense. What a welcome change from radical Soros‘ Act Blue-supported Kelly (for verification, scroll down to the end of this solicitation) who has longstanding business ties with Communist China. Though a gun owner himself, Kelly is also a Second Amendment restrictionist for the rest of us. Giffords PAC is named for his wife Gabby Giffords, a former Arizona U.S. Rep. who was shot at a campaign event where 12 others were wounded and six killed, including Federal Judge John Roll.
