Arizona’s failing newspaper employs a pitiful man who obediently carries its polluted water. It’s the ideal job for a wizened toady past retirement age who needs to feel relevant. And how does he accomplish this feat? EJ Montini focuses his bile on people who have had careers in public service; actually accomplishing all that eluded pathetic EJ who uses his keyboard to spew vile hatred.
What distresses this pitiful shell of a man is Republicans. Conservatives drive him to distraction. As General Election Day approaches he has lost all sense of restraint and engages in name-calling like the neighborhood bully who threw rocks and threats, but cowardly kept his distance, as we were walking to school. The difference is, Montini has no heft, either physically or mentally. His stock in trade is derision with contemptible abhorrence thrown into his unsavory brew.
It’s not enough that this characterless character is hate-filled and perpetually enraged at GOP politicians; his stock in trade is smearing them. His latest targets are Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and Mark Finchem, the Republican candidate for Arizona secretary of state.
The thought of them ascending to Arizona’s top two offices is more than Montini can process. He actually calls them “Donald Trump cultists.”
Resorting to venomous tirades, he attempts to link both Republicans and state Senator Wendy Rogers to a state senate candidate in Oklahoma, who Montini has declared to be “homophobic and anti-Semitic,” vicious handles he hopes will somehow stick to the Arizona candidates.
The only thing that will stick is the stench of Montini‘s boundless hatred of Republicans. He is drenched in the repulsive odor.
Montini is only of value as someone with no further career aspirations, who can continually spew hatred and suffer no consequences. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does his dirty work for free.
EJ (Do the initials as standing for Egotistical Jughead?) is probably working from a corner in his bedroom, wearing a mask to protect him from himself, pounding out his venom on his keyboard. If he had co-workers, someone with sense might advise him to incorporate some decorum in his columns. On second thought, that’s not ever going to happen. There are no such people at the dying newspaper!
He is an old man who will one day soon will pass from this world. I wish him luck and more happiness wherever he ends up.
It is sad to see what was once a “public serving business” evolve into the mouthpiece for socialism. Here is how it was predicted:
======
Nikita Khrushchev had explicitly announced the regime’s intent to export “small doses” of socialism to the U.S. in a statement he allegedly made in 1959. Reagan was fond of quoting this supposed pronouncement in speeches he gave as a crusader for conservative causes before launching his own political career later in the ’60s. This instance is from an address he delivered in 1961:
The communists are supremely confident of victory. They believe that you and I, under the constant pressure of the Cold War, will one by one give up our democratic traditions and principles and customs. Only temporarily, of course, but only temporarily we will turn to totalitarian tactics and methods just for the purpose of opposing the enemy. And then they cynically believe we will one day awake to find that we have, in adopting these tactics, become so much like the enemy that the causes for conflict have disappeared between us. Three and a half months before his last visit to this country, Nikita Khrushchev said, “We can’t expect the American people to jump from capitalism to communism but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of socialism until one day they will awaken to find they have communism.”
Quite a reminder! The overriding problem today is that our taxpayer funded public schools are in the pocket of left-wing teacher’s unions who are indoctrinating America’s youth with mega doses of liberalism. It starts in elementary school and intensifies throughout high school. By college, they are thoroughly brainwashed liberals.
Too many parents are “too busy” to look at textbooks and review assignments. Then they are shocked when they realize their kids are irreversible radicals.
This is where the teachers unions put their money:

This list shows where Mark Kelly gets the majority of his funding. Pay Attention!! Kelly’s ads try to portray him as a middle-of-the-roader. Nothing could be further from the truth. He’s a far left radical who consistently votes for the Biden agenda. Mark Kelly is listed as a “leftist Industry” favorite. Check it out.

Just a word on your most excellent expose of Montini—a recent change in electronic formats reduces the age-old habit of placing two spaces after every sentence to just one. It is a new paradigm that you might start using. Hope this doesn’t sideline ya!
Thanks for the information. It might take us a while to get used to the new spacing. We are entrenched in old habits! Appreciate your compliment on today’s post.
To really know about the candidates for any public office, get involved politically. Become a precinct committeeman, which provides invaluable information. GOP candidates and elected officials all make the rounds of the Republican district meetings. Listening to them and having the ability to ask them questions is invaluable.
