Mega donors buy influence with money Arizonans paid for their goods and services
After vowing a commitment to bipartisanship, progress and accountability in her inauguration speech, Arizona’s democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs has worked mightily to conceal the amounts contributed by high dollar donors who funded her inaugural events, including the Jan. 7, 2023 ball held at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. Ultimately, the sponsors, listed here — minus contribution amounts — include all of us, since utility companies, banks, health care providers, food distributors, PepsiCo, the Phoenix Suns, AT&T, CVS drug stores, others listed only by initials, unions and, of course, Cindy Hensley McCain’s Anheuser-Busch beer distributorship supported Hobbs. Additionally, ‘Everytown for Gun Safety,’ a firearm restrictionist organization founded by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, ponied up funds for her political extravaganzas. It has been reported by several news organizations that the total amount Hobbs hauled in was nearly $1.5 million in donations from corporations and other special interests to cover the celebratory costs, although the events ultimately cost about $207,000.
Hold onto your hats, Arizona taxpayers. This formerly teetering on the edge of bankruptcy democrat governor, thinks you are her own personal golden egg laying geese. Watch as the spending spree begins. Be sure to thank the democrats you know who put this nightmare on the ninth floor of the AZ Capitol building.
We can only hope we have elected SOLID, HONEST REPUBLICANS to the legislature who will stand strong when the fight comes. NO MORE RINOS!!
“SOLID, HONEST REPUBLICANS”…yeah…and pigs are flying & th’ cow jumped over th’ moon!
Hobbs is a Mojave Green Rattlesnake that wandered over to Phoenix from th’ High Desert of So. Cal! THE MOST Poisonous snake in N. America! (https://www.outdoorlife.com/survival/most-dangerous-snakes-united-states/ ) And her pervert husband needs a…well, I ain’t gonna’ post here what he NEEDS but, just use your imagination…maybe a Mojave Green meeting?
Hobbs has become a free-wheeling spender since she’s using other people’s money. When she was in the legislature, she supplemented her salary by driving for Uber. The family home was in foreclosure at the time and her husband was also working multiple jobs. Slippery Hobbs then neglected to report the additional income on tax filings. When the facts were publicized, Hobbs’ spokeswoman called it “just a harmless oversight.” With this background, Katie Hobbs better be watched like a hawk when she’s dealing with the state budget.
No wonder Katie Hobbs refused to engage in the scheduled KAET-TV governor’s debate with Kari Lake. She had too much to hide.
Hobbs’ husband, Patrick Goodman, is listed as a therapist involved in a “transgender youth program” at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for children as young as ten. I wonder how many voters are aware that this grotesque crap is what has been supporting Katie Hobbs? Where do you think she will fall if the legislature forwards a bill increasing access to this deviancy for her signature?

One of the local TV news reports this week provided the major donor amounts. If I recall correctly, APS gave 250K.
No wonder APS keeps raising its rates! It’s lobbying with our money in the worst economy I can recall. Bidenflation isn’t bad enough, now we have to wear sweaters and jackets in our home during the winter to afford our bills.
AZ’s “First Husband,” Patrick Goodman works in a Phoenix Children’s Hospital gender services program that offers “consultation for the use of medications to suppress puberty” and “readiness evaluations for puberty suppression and cross-sex hormonal therapy for youth (as young as ten) progressing through their gender identity development.” This is all from the PCH website.
