Ukraine: Biden’s reckless proxy war

As the war in Ukraine escalates, with Russia sending more troops and munitions to the now ravaged nation — displacing civilians who survive to wander the frozen (average Jan. temperature in Kyiv is 27°F) wasteland with the clothes on their backs. Previously a major producer and world-wide exporter of wheat and corn, displaced Ukrainians are now wondering how they will provide sustenance for themselves and their families.

According to Reuters News, Russia warned the United States on Monday that the last remaining pillar of bilateral nuclear arms control could expire in 2026 without a replacement due to what it said were U.S. efforts to inflict “strategic defeat” on Moscow in Ukraine.

We are not authorities on Ukraine and its untenable situation, but we do read and watch the news. We also remain attuned to former President Donald Trump who recently posted this on his Truth Social Account.

The New York Post headlined a recent report, ‘Biden mislabels Ukraine as aggressor while announcing tanks to Kyiv.’

Dan Steinbock, who writes for The American Conservative authored, “The unwarranted Ukraine proxy war: A year later,” which is illuminating.

  1. Realist says:

Biden can’t get us deeply enmeshed in the Russia/Ukraine prelude to full fledged war soon enough. Maybe he can sent Hunter back as an ambassador. This can’t be good for the USA. Putin is looking for a reason to challenge us. Biden is his handmaiden.

  2. Arizona Conservative Guy says:

Arizona’s CD 9 Congressman Paul Gosar weighed in with this Press Release. He couldn’t be more correct!

  3. Braveheart says:

Expensive incrementalism of this type will eventually pull America into this war, which will be disastrous. The last thing the free world needs is a full-fledged war between the USA and USSR. I pity the Ukrainians, but this is not our war.

    Is anyone paying attention?

  4. one who knows says:

We have NO BUSINESS being in Ukraine or sending them money and weapons – and soon, I’m afraid, young men. Get out now; stop the push for NATO Membership! Ask Trump to negotiate!!
