Emboldened by being elected to an unprecedented fourth consecutive two-year term as Republican National Committee chair, Ronna Romney McDaniel has begun issuing edicts. She will have her hands full trying to enforce a loyalty pledge from 2024 presidential candidates to support the nominee in order for them to participate in debates.
Ronna McDaniel now requires a “pledge” Republican presidential candidates must sign in order to authenticate their candidacy and remain within Ronna’s parameters. She forgets she is the titular head of the party, and individual candidates, their strategists and coordinators determine the paths of their campaigns and political strategy.
McDaniel presumes every Republican candidate will be all too happy to discard their values and sing the kumbaya anthem.
She’ll be wrong again.

It’s going to be a very ugly fight for the R presidential nomination…maybe to the point it splits MAGA from the Uniparty RINOs. Lord protect us if it does.
I share your concern. If Pres. Trump is not the nominee, and there are numerous reasons pro and con, I could support Gov. Ron DeSantis. He’s got experience coupled with youth, understands the process and has dealt with an invasion of Florida just as Arizona and other border states have. Who elected Ronna McDaniel?
Bet Ronna’s Uncle Mitt would never have agreed to signing such a pledge. He was a political vagabond who referred to himself as a conservative, but supported leftist policies as Massachusetts governor and now as Utah‘s senator. Romney came to Arizona to campaign for John McCain, which spoke volumes about his leftward skew. Donald Trump has shown himself to be a consistent conservative. We voted for him previously and will support him again if he is the Republican nominee.

Ms. McDaniel was quoted as saying, “We’re saying you’re not going to get on the debate stage unless you make this pledge. And I think people in our party really want to see that. They want to see us come together. They don’t want the infighting.”
I will NEVER be coerced into supporting any candidate based on what other Republicans or anyone else) wants. If results are to be believed, “other Republicans” voted for John McCain. Unlike Ronna McDaniel, I have a brain.
A Trump campaign spokesman stated, “President Trump will support the Republican nominee because it will be him.” Great response !

Mitt Romney and Ronna Romney are once again giving the finger to the grassroots. I’m sure Ronna was enraged when Jonathan Lines lost his chairmanship the same guy who gave us Katie Hobbs as Secretary of State.
I apologize in advance for this; does ANYONE HERE ACTUALLY BELIEVE that ANY of this matters? I mean seriously. President Trump actually lost the election to…lyin’ joe biden???
