Calif. launches vaccine passports cloaked as convenience

June 19, 2021

Americans who have received both COVID-19 vaccines were handed a card with the admonishment to “keep it with you, like a driver’s license.”  The card notes the dates of the inoculations, granting certain privileges such as allowing recipients to travel freely and attend indoor events and even college.  Having such a document invokes the dreaded, “Show me your papers” mandate that is a cultural metaphor for life in a police state.

The pandemic is essentially over, but governmental control over American citizens is just beginning.

California democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is the subject of a recall, has said that the system he has put in place does not constitute a “vaccine passport” that businesses would use to filter people who are not vaccinated, though it does a good job of portraying one. Newsom mandates that entities hosting large indoor gatherings, such as concerts or sports events, verify that all attendees either have proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test or vaccination.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey issued an executive order on April 19, 2021, stating that no business can demand verification of inoculation.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a democrat, heads the only state that has an official vaccine passport, known as the Excelsior Pass, which is linked to its state vaccination database, and verifies vaccination status — an overreach and massive invasion of privacy that should terrify any American.

Though California’s portal functions as a website, rather than an app, it’s otherwise essentially the same thing, according to California’s chief technology innovation officer, Rick Klau.

“This is very similar in concept to what New York launched with Excelsior Pass, which is an opportunity for a resident, in our case the state of California, to have a digital copy of their vaccination record,” Klau said.

“An opportunity?” Giving up privacy for convenience is a slippery slope no thinking American should willingly travel.

Biden: One Independence Day for Americans is not enough

June 18, 2021

Biden establishes Juneteenth as a new holiday in a blatant effort to keep black voters in the democrat party

The Arizona Republic is well known for its far left slant, which is why subscriptions have plummeted.  It is also not above skewing facts when it suits its purposes. Today the objects of its bile spew are Arizona Congressmen Paul Gosar (CD-4) and Andy Biggs (CD-5). Their crime is one that is not found in the Arizona Revised Statutes Criminal Code. They have been elected by the citizens of their congressional districts because they are conservatives — a concept that is anathema to the newspaper that has made clear it hires reporters based on their ethnicity.

Congressmen Gosar and Biggs are being eviscerated for voting NO on S. 475, the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, which establishes June 19, as a legal public holiday. Juneteenth was the mispronounced term used for June Nineteenth. It is tied to the history of enslaved blacks in Galveston, Texas, learning that they had been emancipated over two years earlier following President Abraham Lincoln’s September 22, 1862 Emancipation Proclamation, which abolished slavery.

Lost in all of the newly provoked racial discord is the fact that Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican U.S. President. Elected November 6, 1860 he was dedicated to ending slavery, which Southern democrats, who had seceded from the union, battled to preserve. The U.S. Civil War (1861-1865), in which an estimated 750,000 Americans died, was fought to end slavery. The Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution passed by congress in 1865 reaffirmed the abolishment of slavery.

Read Paul Gosar’s logical statement explaining his vote.  We have also copied it here:

“Our country is divided, and the cultural and political Marxists are continuing their relentless efforts to divide this country further.

Juneteenth is more debunked Critical Race Theory in action. I reject racism. I reject the racial division people are promoting. I voted no because this proposed holiday does not bring us together, it tears us apart.

I cannot support efforts that further racial divisions in this country. We have one Independence Day, and it applies equally to all people of all races.”

Rammed through by democrats exploiting the death of career criminal George Floyd, the Juneteenth holiday vote tally can be seen here. Of a total of 415 votes cast, the democrats all voted in unison. Republicans split, with 195 joining the democrats, and 14 Republicans voting against the creation of a new holiday. Two Republicans, Dan Crenshaw (TX)  and Patrick McHenry (NC) did not vote.

Joe Biden, a democrat who has fomented division, wasted no time signing the newly established holiday into law on Thursday.

AZ now has $billions in magic money to spend

June 15, 2021

Arizona is on fire. But the devastating flames that are consuming vast numbers of homes and acres in rural counties are not the sole reason. Rational citizens are inflamed over the $trillions the radical OBiden administration* is spending. The leftwing Arizona Republic newspaper calls it “federal money,” never acknowledging that it’s money taken from taxpaying citizens in ever-increasing amounts.

An example in today’s edition is this headline, “How Arizona plans to spend federal COVID relief money.” The article’s first sentence? “More than $1 billion in federal COVID-19 relief funds has flowed into Arizona’s health department, and state officials are working to spend it over the next two to three years to make sure the state is better prepared for future health crises.”

Get that? “More than $1 billion flowed.” Reporters Stephanie Innes and Alison Steinbach never question the source of the “flow.” The three pages of radically leftist, sycophantic coverage is an outstanding example of why the Arizona Republic is gasping its last breaths.

Conservative blacks aren’t black enough for white leftists

June 11, 2021

White newscaster arrogantly lectures black U.S. Rep. on how to be black

CNS News, a division of Media Research Center, exposes a CNN report and media interview (watch by clicking on the link) that are shocking in their arrogance.

U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) during his appearance with CNN’s “New Day” anchor Brianna Keilar accused the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) of discriminating against him by denying him membership because he’s a Republican. There are currently no Republican members of Congress in the Congressional Black Caucus. Steely-eyed, smirking and with an occasional arched eyebrow, Brianna Keilar sticks with her prepared talking points and ignores the responses of the congressman, even interjecting his remarks with, “That’s not true.“ She also accuses Congressman Donalds of “defending” President Trump, and told him his ideas are “incongruous” with those of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Unable to discern facts beyond her limited perspective, Keilar cited two leftwing newspapers to bolster her contentions.

There are black Republicans who have a keen insight into what’s best for blacks, and recognize it isn’t the democrat party. Here in Arizona Republican state Rep. Walt Blackman (LD-6) a Constitutional Conservative ably represents his constituents. He recently announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives for CD 1 now represented by a democrat.

Republican Mark Robinson is Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina, the first black elected to the second highest position in the state in 2020. He won the Republican nomination clearing the 30% threshold and avoiding a primary runoff. Robinson defeated a state senator, superintendent of public instruction, a former congresswoman, and former state representative.

Robinson is pro-life and pro-Second Amendment, and back-burners the dems driving issue of climate change, desiring America to remain energy independent, not dependent on purchasing our fuel from China, Iran and Russia, all our committed enemies.

Sen. Manchin ditches dems on H.R. 1: Partisan legislation “will destroy” democracy

June 7, 2021

In this Op-Ed featured in the Sunday edition of the Charleston Gazette-Mail, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) left no uncertainty as he announced he will vote against the democrats’ 886-paqe, fraudulently named For the People Act.” He also declared he will oppose either weakening or eliminating the filibuster, believing partisan voting legislation “will destroy the already weakening binds of our democracy.” Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, a democrat, has schizophrenically been on both sides of the far-left power grabbing legislation. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), up for reelection, has kept his bald head down on this massive overreach, hoping no one will notice.

Sen. Manchin, who has remained popular with his constituents, previously served as West Virginia’s governor (2005 – 2010) and secretary of state (2001 – 2005).

The Heritage Foundation explains how H.R. 1 would federalize and micromanage the election process, imposing unnecessary, unwise, and unconstitutional mandates on the states. This is crucial information. Not a single Republican supports this power grabbing bill.

Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Illinois) described the bill as “for the politicians, not for the people,” illuminating its built-in public funding of campaigns mechanism, among other egregious overreaches. He stated, “This bill is an infringement of states’ rights to administer elections. Unfortunately, H.R. 1 was written without any input from the election officials and administrators who actually have experience running elections and without consultation with Republicans.”

L.A. D.A. George Gascon protects criminals, disregards law abiding citizens

June 5, 2021

Arrogant extremist was previously Mesa, AZ Police Chief

The name of Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon is one that should be all too familiar to Valley residents. He was the unpopular, political extremist Mesa Police Chief, prior to moving to San Francisco to become the District Attorney. As political scheming goes, the move was a classic fit as Gascon replaced hard-core leftist* Kamala Harris who was running for California Attorney General. Under the guidance of her acknowledged longtime “mentor” then-San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, she improbably burst onto the national scene as California’s junior U.S. Senator. Harris is now Vice President, waiting for bumbling, stumbling, and frequently incoherent Joe Biden to fall again, integral to Barack Obama’s long-range behind the curtain scheme.

Cuban-born Gascon, whose uncle was imprisoned under the Communist regime of Fidel Castro, is unique among law enforcement professionals and given his background definitely should know better. He is more attuned to keeping criminals happy than keeping law abiding citizens safe.

Although gang violence In Los Angeles County continues to spiral out of control with  murders up 136.4%, shootings up 261.5%, and attacks on police officers up 300%, District Attorney Gascon defended the indefensible Assembly Bill No. 3234, which lessens the penalties for a wide range of crimes. It was signed into law September 2020 by Gov. Gavin Newsom. No surprise…both Gascon and Newsom are far-left democrats.

Californians are wising up.

The campaign to recall Gov. Newsom has 2,026,617 verified signatures, far exceeding the number needed to generate a special election to remove him from office. The Office of the California Secretary of State provides the complete list.

For more background, take time to read, “Amiable bedfellows: Kamala Harris, George Gascon…George Soros.”

Knowledge is power.

* Govtrack graph placed Kamala Harris “far left” compared to other senate democrats.

Dems want you to pay for the slaves you owned

June 4, 2021

Unless you are over 160 years old, chances are you never owned a slave. Yet according to H.R. 40, a bill that pushes for financial reparations to American blacks, blaming other Americans for “white supremacy and systemic racism,” you’ve got to pay. In 2021, money is clearly the only way to right the wrongs that the bloody Civil War was fought from 1861-1865 to end, resulting in the deaths of approximately 750,000 American soldiers.

Longtime talk show host and author, Michael Savage, exposing what he refers to as “reparation racketeers,” calls the  movement to impose this outrageous and divisive fraud on non-black Americans writes, “I’ve been paying them all my life through affirmative action, through high taxation, through the cost of policing and prisons.”

As would be expected the local newspaper’s editorial columnist, radical leftist and resident race-baiter Elvia Diaz‘s recent commentary advocates for Joe Biden to back the reparations bill. The newspaper heralds its commitment to ethic diversity, but veers far afield from diversity of thought.

No one promoting this madness explains how “blackness” is defined.  Would having one black parent qualify for reparations? How about one grandparent or great-grandparent?  Where does it end? And why should people who never owned slaves pay?  Many Americans are descendants of immigrants who came to the United States long after the Civil War was fought from 1861 to 1865. It was Republican President Abraham Lincoln who is credited with freeing slaves — originally brought to this country by Arab slave traders, which highlights the absurdity of blacks, such as Lew Alcindor and Cassius Clay taking Arabic/Muslim names.

General Ulysses S. Grant led the Union armies to victory over the Confederacy in the American Civil War. As an American hero, Republican Grant was later elected to two terms as President of the United States (1869–1877). But the BLM militants, ignorant of history, who engaged in looting and vandalism, toppled his statue, along with those of Lincoln and our nation’s founders.

We have nothing to pay “reparations” for. Just as any citizens who educate themselves and strive to accomplish their goals, blacks have achieved business success in the USA.

Biden berates AZ democrat Sen. Sinema

June 2, 2021

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is also the object of Biden’s ridicule

Joe Biden is not happy and is blaming Arizona democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema for his angst. She shares the blame with West Virginia democrat Joe Manchin. While Biden didn’t specifically name them, it was clear the duo is on the receiving end of his ire as he insinuated they align themselves more with Republicans than their own party.

“I hear all the folks on TV saying, ‘Why doesn’t Biden get this done?’” he asked, narcissistically referring to himself by his own last name. “Well, because Biden only has a majority of effectively four votes in the House and a tie in the Senate, with two members of the Senate who vote more with my Republican friends.”

Biden appeared to be alluding to the democrat election rigging scheme known as H.R.1 consisting of nearly 900 pages, that would, among other things, expand mail-in and early voting and require automatic voter registration, while restricting rights.

First, let’s cut to the chase. Compliant Biden doesn’t have Republican friends. He obediently takes his marching orders from Barack Obama, who recently admitted that the Biden administration was a continuation of his own, as reported in the Washington Examiner.

Arizonans don’t mistake Sinema for a conservative, despite the fact that she has steadfastly rejected leftwing calls to end the Senate filibuster.

“When you have a place that’s broken and not working, and many would say that’s the Senate today, I don’t think the solution is to erode the rules,” Sinema said. “I think the solution is for senators to change their behavior and begin to work together, which is what the country wants us to do.”

That’s a fact.

Arizona does have a precedent for a party switching member of Congress. Democrat Bob Stump served four terms in the Arizona House of Representatives from 1959 to 1967, followed by five terms in the Arizona State Senate from 1967 to 1976, where he was President of the Senate. He was first elected to congress in 1976 as a democrat. After voting for Pres. Reagan’s tax cuts in in 1981, he announced his party switch to Republican. U.S. Rep. Stump remained popular, and continued to win by wide margins, until his retirement in 2000.

Biden: The mathematical genius

May 30, 2021

This would be entertaining if not so serious. Joe Biden is revealed as not only incompetent, but drastically out of touch with reality. His blank stare is truly creepy. WND, a conservative aggregator is a site worthy of book-marking.

Deceptive Biden admin. waffles on requiring vaccine compliance

May 29, 2021

Most people are astute enough to know that when someone says, “Trust me,” you shouldn’t. Armed with that wisdom, Americans should be especially leery of the double-talk emanating from members of the Harris/Biden administration.

When the topic is what has come to be known as Vaccine Passports, requiring proof of vaccination for returning to work or school, attending concerts, sporting events, or traveling, there is widespread citizen resistance.

The far-left network CNN trivializes the term with the addition of the word, “just,” as in this sentence: “A vaccine passport is just proof that a person has been immunized against Covid-19.”

What the “vaccine passport” actually represents is the ultimate in the threatening, “Show me your papers,” in repressive societies that restrict freedom of movement and association. Exempt from the demand attempting to be foisted on American citizens are the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador along with worldwide invaders, many of whom are criminals, untested and transported across the United States for resettlement. They are the democrat’s answer to former President Trump’s wall construction, which ceased and portions have been torn down by the Biden administration, focused on permanently increasing the democrat base.

Although key Biden administration members have repeatedly insisted that there aren’t plans for a federal vaccine passport system, believing them is at our own peril.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, appearing on Good Morning America on Friday, said he is “taking a very close look” at vaccine passports for Americans traveling abroad — which is an integral part of the slippery slope.

Asked whether the U.S. would use vaccine passports for travel in or out of the country as international trips increase this year, Mayorkas using polished doubletalk said, “We’re taking a very close look at that” and “making sure that any passport that we provide for vaccinations is accessible to all and that no one is disenfranchised.”

“Disenfranchised” from being subjugated?

The concept of “vaccine passports” has been the subject of conservative backlash, with numerous states having already acted to curtail or ban documentation of Covid-19 vaccinations.

The White House has repeatedly stated there would be no federal vaccination database or mandated vaccine passport in the U.S., which flies in the face of the data collected when signing up for the vaccine. The form even asks the race of those getting what has engagingly become known as “the jab.”

During a recent White House press briefing, Biden’s mouthpiece Jen Psaki said that requiring proof of vaccination is not in the administration’s “intended plan.” Previously the words used were, “There would be no federal vaccination database or mandated vaccine passport in the U.S.“ The slipperiness and blatant deceit is why many Republican governors, Arizona’s Doug Ducey among them, have opted out of the “Vaccine Passport” scheme.

Becker’s Hospital Review has an updated list of which states have opted out or are in full compliance with a governmental passport mandate.
