Protecting Parents’ Rights with the ‘Given Name Act’

February 15, 2023

Radical gender ideology hidden from parents as schools encourage students to experiment with “transgenderism”

The Heritage Foundation has a newly issued Fact Sheet that should be mandatory reading for every parent, guardian and engaged grandparent of a K-12 age student. Changing names and pronouns is the first step in the implementation of radical gender ideology, which eventually leads to life-altering drugs and irreversible medical procedures. Without substantiation from a well-respected organization such as Heritage, this topic would be impossible to fathom. Read the brief ‘Given Name Act.’

The National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) shows reading and math test scores are significantly below the norm but manipulating pronouns takes center stage.

2024 pre-election analysis: blue states lose residents

February 13, 2023

Blue states face mass exoduses, red states need to brace for the harsh impact

Joe Concha, media and political columnist for The Hill, has recently written ‘The new red wave is already here.’  He writes, “Recent U.S. Census data underscore a grim reality for the biggest blue states: More people are leaving states such as California, New York and Illinois than moving to them.

The exodus is real: California lost nearly 350,000 residents in 2022, while New York lost about 300,000 and Illinois saw more than 140,000 go elsewhere, per Census numbers. Other states, including New Jersey (-64,231), Massachusetts (-57,292) and Pennsylvania (-39,957), also saw large numbers of residents say goodbye.”

Call it a roaring red wave of the 2020s. And this time, it’s actually materialized, unlike during the red wave that was predicted for the 2022 midterm elections.

Concha noted the three contributing factors to the flight are Taxes, Crime and Traffic. He supports his statistics with verifiable data from the annual U-Haul Growth Index and the Internal Revenue Service.

Dem mayor, entire council become Republicans

February 10, 2023

It didn’t happen in Arizona, but the switcheroo in New Jersey provides hope that even democrats have had enough of Joe’s devastating Bidenflation, China-enabling, memory lapses, wobbly falsehoods and outright fabrications. Having Joe Biden hanging on to their coattails has become too reprehensible even for former Biden supporters. They still have to face themselves in the mirror and their constituents as the next election cycle approaches.

The New Jersey Globe’s report can be read here.

Morris County GOP Chair Laura Marie Ali credited Hanover Mayor Ace Gallagher for convincing the East Hanover officials to switch parties.

“The entire Republican Party in Morris County is welcoming Mayor Pannullo and East Hanover’s four Council members to our family with open arms and great excitement,” Ali said.  “East Hanover is an exceptionally run town with great leadership. It is clear we share the same values as Mayor Pannullo and his Council and we are so excited to have them be part of our Republican family.”

The East Hanover Republican municipal chair, former Councilwoman Sue Tietjen, also welcomed the new Republican officeholders.

“We will work together moving East Hanover forward,” she said.

This change comes on the heels of an ABC News report titled, “Biden faces doubt from some voters who backed Dems in 2022.” It’s far worse treading on thin ice when you know it.

The unusual move makes sense from the perspective of East Hanover’s 11,105 residents. Although democrats have long dominated the local government, in recent state and national elections the town has overwhelmingly supported Republicans, including voting for former President Donald Trump by 66 percent in 2020.

AZ Republicans beware: Another McCain is in the wings

January 26, 2023

Biden supporter Cindy McCain, becomes major liability

Last November we posted an odd Thanksgiving greeting from James Hensley McCain, who never previously thought to wish us well. Greeting us as “Dear Friends,” his father’s slippery salutation to those of us who were anything but, outs Jimmy McCain as a fellow with political aspirations as we noted in, “Another McCain seeking a political perch? Spare us.”

He wrote, “As our family prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday, I wanted to take the time to thank you for supporting my Dad through the years. As we continue my Dad’s fight to advance freedom, prosperity, security and human dignity for the benefit of all, we would be grateful to have you join our efforts.”

He was assuming a lot. Conservatives were never fans of the devious John McCain who was more comfortable with democrats Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton while shunning conservative principles opting out of AZ GOP Statutory meetings attended by most Republican office holders. When ”Dad” finally attended a state meeting with Jeff Flake who opted out of running for reelection when polling showed him with an 18% approval rating in his home state, Dad and Flake were greeted by turned backs, boos, and walk outs, based on his ignoring the backbone of the party and pushing his democrat and Republicrat Gang of Eight pro-amnesty for illegal aliens. John McCain was also censured as was Cindy for her allegiance to Joe Biden…who rewarded her with an ambassadorship to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture. Cindy and her daughter (known on this site as Mega) and Flake, all endorsed Biden. The McCain’s unconcealed rage directed at President Trump is based in their jealous ire that businessman Trump won the presidency, the office John McCain regarded as his due, though the nation’s top job forever eluded him.  For his Biden allegiance, Flake was gifted with an appropriate ambassadorship to Turkey.

Now James (Jimmy) Hensley McCain is back in greeting mode, this time wishing us a late Happy New Year, as he once again shares memories of his dad. He’s obviously gearing up for an announcement of his own, though he’s never shown any interest in the Arizona Republican Party. Jimmy’s also hustling for donations to the McCain Institute. It’s a sure bet that Jimmy has got a case of the runs, which will be characterized as a tribute to his dad.

This 2008 New Republic article, “Made Man: How Cindy Hensley invented John McCain,” provides the background of how John McCain’s well-connected second wife launched John McCain’s political career. There’s little doubt she is now advising her son James Hensley McCain in carrying on the tradition.

Oops! Pesky classified documents found at Biden’s home

January 13, 2023

Biden spokesmouth Karine Jean-Pierre quotes lawyer: “Documents Inadvertently misplaced”…calls it a “mistake.”

Refuses to call on reporter asking pertinent question…moves on to “something not related to this“:

How can we tell Joe Biden is truthful when discussing boxes of classified documents found in his garage? He reads from a prepared script, takes no questions, and then walks away.

Joe Biden’s political future took a nosedive yesterday after U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Robert Hur, a former U.S. attorney in Maryland, as special counsel to investigate Biden’s handling of the classified documents. The downside is incompetent, cackling Kamala Harris, selected as vice president solely because she is a mixed-race female, is waiting in the wings.

Australian TV is onto her more than American democrats:

Biden plays chef-in-chief, tells us how to cook

January 10, 2023

When building from scratch or remodeling, one of the most important kitchen appliances is a high quality stove. Whether home chefs or professionals, many prefer gas cook tops and ovens, despite the fact prices are usually considerably higher, it’s a personal choice.

Or at least we thought so.

Who knew Joe Biden would be interested in our kitchen appliances? Not only does Biden plan to end purchases of gas-powered vehicles by 2035 in a move to lower emissions and promote electric cars, Biden’s US Consumer Product Safety Commission will move to eliminate gas stoves, claiming new research links them to childhood asthma (along with belly-button lint and toenail fungus?).

Within short order of assuming office, Biden nominated Rich Trumka Jr.— the son of Richard Trumka, (died August 2021) the longtime president of the nation’s largest labor union, the AFL-CIO, — to serve as the next commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, described as “an independent government organization” with wide-ranging authority over consumer goods.

Knowing where his bread is buttered, Junior Trumka endorsed Biden in the 2020 election, bringing the union vote along with him, despite Biden killing countless good-paying jobs connected to the Keystone XL pipeline.

Shortly after his inauguration, Biden canceled the federal permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, a project that would have transported 830,000 barrels of oil per day from Canada to the Gulf Coast, estimated to cost thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity, according to a new report from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Did former VP Mike Pence file to run for President in 2024?

December 27, 2022

Although his spokesman denies his intention to run, Mike Pence for President is posted on the Federal Election Commission website. It was filed December 26, 2022. His chances of winning the GOP nomination following his public battles with President Donald Trump are nil.

Real Clear Politics (RCP), which aggregates major polls, shows Joe Biden running negative in all categories, from his job approval rating to the direction of the county.

Conservative voters are unlikely to support Pence, a Trump antagonist. RCP shows the latest 2024 presidential polling, which is definitely worth your time. Yes, it’s early, though it gives a reliable indicator of who is generating support.

Desiring to further her career, Judge Lin backtracks on vile negativity aimed at Christians

December 4, 2022

GOP Sen. Kennedy holds Biden’s judicial nominee’s feet to the fire

The Obiden-Harris administration has nominated democrat San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Rita F. Lin to fill a vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. As is frequently the case, her ethnicity and gender take precedence over her credentials. The announcement notes that if confirmed, Lin would be the second Asian Pacific American woman, and first Taiwanese American woman on the district bench.

Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy, delving deeper, questioned her about her previous incendiary opinions regarding members of the Christian Coalition.

Rita Lin, salivating over the prospect of a federal judgeship, says she no longer believes members of the Christian Coalition are “bigots,” something she asserted in an essay when she was a senior at Harvard. “This is what you said, and I quote, your words not mine,” Kennedy stated, ‘”The problem with the Christian Coalition is not that they are Bible thumpers, but that they are bigots.’ Did I quote that correctly?”

Lin responded that the Louisiana senator did quote her correctly but that she does not agree with those statements today.

“I did write that when I was 20 years old…. I do want to be clear. I do not agree with that today. I wrote that before I went to law school, before I had any kind of….”

“You were a grown woman when you wrote this,” Kennedy interjected as he noted that Lin was a junior at Harvard at the time of publication. Despite her notorious bigotry, she was accepted to and graduated from Harvard Law School.

A far-left democrat who previously represented Pres. Trump despising Lambda Legal, Judge Lin was appointed to the Superior Court bench in 2018 by Gov. Jerry ”Moonbeam” Brown. As an incumbent, Lin was the only candidate to file and won the position by default when the election was canceled. Lambda Legal is not appeased, claiming the Biden administration fell short on LGBTQ+ representation.

Watch Sen. Kennedy’s interview of Judge Lin:

Although Lin disclosed she suffers from a hearing loss resulting from a childhood illness, she pointedly omitted that her radical biases made her agreeable to both Jerry Brown and Joe Biden. Her polished-up Fact Sheet omits any personal information.
