Tracking the media’s hatred of conservatives

December 31, 2018

Today we gift our readers with this must read year-end wrap up, courtesy of Geoffrey Dickens at Media Research Center’s News Busters. It incorporates a series of examples of the media’s hatred of conservatives, many including corroborating videos of the deceptive reporting tactics. Watch it in segments, if you must, but let nothing deter you from watching the full exposé of the propagandizing schemes.  Knowledge is power. This is what we’re up against from the left. Democrats are already gearing up for 2020 — likely the most important election cycle of our lifetimes. Their aim is to politically hobble President Trump while rendering the Republican Party to relic status.

Here in Arizona, aided by the #RedsforEd unionist teachers who followed in lockstep with self-admitted Socialist Pied Piper Noah Karvelis, our red state turned the color of eggplant as we lost previously Republican held statewide offices. Gone are a U.S. Senate seat, Secretary of State, Superintendent of Public Instruction, and one of the two seats on the utility rate-setting Corporation Commission. Greg Stanton, the left-wing former mayor of Phoenix won in Congressional District 9. Dems now hold five of Arizona’s nine CD seats.

Obviously Arizona Republicans need new leadership. Jonathan Lines, a Robert (Mc)Graham protégé, is brazenly running for a second term as state GOP chairman, despite presiding over the worst election debacle in memory. Back-up candidate Frank Thorwald conveniently works for puppeteer Graham. The status quo has infected us with ruinous political plagues. We need a capable doctor to bring is back to health.  If you are an elected state committeeman cast your ballot at the Jan. 26, 2019 AZ GOP statutory meeting for Dr. Kelli Ward, the sole conservative running for state chairman. Thinking Arizona can survive more of the same is delusionary.

Trump Derangement Syndrome, personified

December 30, 2018

Customer’s MAGA cap and pro-Trump T-shirt send nutcase clerk into frenzied rant

If you haven’t seen this video, know this: They walk among us.  If you’ve seen it previously, watch it again to remind yourself that the only rational way to deal with radical leftists is to vote for the conservatives on the ballot and send President Trump back for a second term in 2020.

Court rules pregnant moms’ drug use not child abuse

December 29, 2018

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, in its collective wisdom, reversed the decision of a lower court and has ruled that women who use illegal drugs while pregnant can’t be considered perpetrators of child abuse against their newly born children, under the state’s child protection law.

Why, you might ask?

In the 16-page opinion, issued Friday, in which the mother is anonymously referred to by initials, the court’s majority determined the law’s definition of a child doesn’t include fetuses or unborn children —- opining victims of perpetrators must be children —- “a person under 18 years of age” —- just not too far under that interpretation.

A 1997 statute specifically exempts pregnant women and abortion providers from facing charges in the death of a pre-born baby.

Two justices who dissented waffled, saying what should matter is when the injury manifests itself, and that can be after the child is born.

This case involves a newborn girl who was hospitalized for 19 days last year undergoing treatment for drug addiction that caused severe withdrawal symptoms. Her mother resumed drug use after being released from jail two weeks before the baby was born in January 2017. At the time of birth, she tested positive for opiates, marijuana and benzodiazepines.

The mother’s lawyer, David S. Cohen, called the high court’s decision a victory for public health and the rights of women and children. His client does not have custody of the child. Though not surprising, the Pennsylvania branch of the far left American Civil Liberties Union also holds the opinion that women should not face criminal charges for using illicit drugs while pregnant saying it stigmatizes them and makes them fearful.

In Pennsylvania, pre-born children are not fortunate enough to legally count, although they are able to have life saving, in utero surgery performed on their tiny living bodies.

Five of the seven Justices are Democrats.

Pres. Trump: Finish the wall or close the border

December 28, 2018

Democrat border hypocrisy is based in Trump hatred

This morning President Donald Trump suggested closing the border with Mexico until funding is appropriated for completion of the border wall.

@realDonaldTrump

…..close the Southern Border. Bring our car industry back into the United States where it belongs. Go back to pre-NAFTA, before so many of our companies and jobs were so foolishly sent to Mexico. Either we build (finish) the Wall or we close the Border……

4:49 AM – 28 Dec 2018

Democrat hypocrites who previously advocated for a border wall now oppose it because politics trumps national security.

Odd border comparisons underscore news dishonesty

“Mormon migration” was never illegal. LDS settlers were American citizens

The local newspaper is up to its trickery again. This one is so bizarre readers can be excused for wondering when the punch line was coming, thinking it was a gag —- as in funny story, not retch. April is months away, but this could have passed as the intro to an April Fools’ joke.

The Arizona Republic is simply reprising its old antics, but with a new twist. The difference between illegal aliens invading and Americans relocating is clear.

Reporter Dustin Gardiner begins his article about a proposed bell monument with these words:

Tens of thousands of Arizonans trace their roots in the state back to a mass migration of Mormon settlers, who made a harrowing journey from Utah over a century ago.

They walked hundreds of miles, through rugged desert and winding red-rock canyons. The most perilous portion of the journey came when they crossed the Colorado River, then a raging force without dams. At Lees Ferry, the only safe crossing between Utah and Arizona for hundreds of miles, they ferried or floated countless wagons and livestock across the untamed river.

They made the fraught journey in search of fertile farmland and new opportunity, directed by leader Brigham Young. Many had already fled religious persecution in the Midwestern United States. Today, the legacy of that migration can be seen throughout eastern and southern Arizona, where they established communities like Mesa, Gilbert, Safford and Snowflake.

It’s the sixth paragraph where the bell, being considered for a state monument, is described as being used at the Lee’s Ferry schoolhouse.

The obvious scheme is to entice readers to make the comparison to thousands of Guatemalans, Hondurans, and El Salvadorans caravanning from Central American through Mexico to breach the U.S. border, waving flags of their native countries and hurling rocks and bottles at ICE border agents as they stampede our border. Make no mistake, the magnet is birthright citizenship.

Drawing parallels between Mormon settlers and illegal aliens is the driving farce of this force — not a typo. The Mormons were Americans. There is a vast difference between invaders and Americans moving from one place to another. Facilitating moves within your own nation is how the Schoen family who founded the U-Haul trailer and truck rental empire became billionaires.

It’s easy to envision members of the open borders editorial board thinking this comparison was nothing short of sheer brilliance, especially on the heels of U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez’ (D-IL) sneering rant (brief video) comparing the birth of the Christ child to illegals, though he admittedly had his facts skewed. He then rudely walked out of the hearing before the response from U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen.

The AZ Republic, which inventively used the word “seekers” in place of the overused and erroneous “migrant,” in a recent front page headline, gets it wrong again.

Kyrsten Sinematic theatre of the absurd

December 26, 2018

AZ Republic dubs Kyrsten Sinema “Arizonan of the Year’

Count on this recent edition of Sinematic thrall becoming the absurd norm: Accompanied by a nearly full page illustration and a headline blasting, “She’s a real trailblazer,” is the newspaper’s choice for ‘Arizonan of the Year.’ There is entire jump page, replete with more oversize photos, extolling the virtues of former Green Party candidate, foul-mouthed, self acknowledged Socialist with Commie ties, bisexual atheist and practiced liar Kyrsten Sinema — who heaped praise on John McCain to win over Arizona newcomers and less knowledgeable residents who bought into his self aggrandized history. Every vote counts, regardless of the deception used to gain them.

Sinema’s the author of “Unite and Conquer” which details her endorsement of the use of deceptive techniques to reach victory:

“Universal” sounds socialist, so say “affordable healthcare” I’ve become a huge fan of research. It’s helped me as a candidate learn to talk in ways that voters can understand. For example, I used to say that I wanted universal health-care coverage in Arizona, which went over like a ton of bricks. Turns out, Arizonans hear the word “universal” and think “socialism”– or “pinko commie.” But when I say that I want all Arizonans to have access to affordable, quality health care, Arizonans agree wholeheartedly. Same basic idea, different language. Research is what teaches us these differences so that we can relate to voters in ways that are authentic and meaningful for them.” (Source: Unite and Conquer, by Kyrsten Sinema, p.166-167 , Jul 1, 2009)

The foreword was written by her onetime gal pal and radical leftist Janet Napolitano.  The newspaper characterizes the book with these words: “If she continues to follow her own advice, Sinema could be the tonic for what ails America’s body politic.”

Close your mouth.  You might catch a fly!

The aptly nicknamed AZ Repukelick obviously was just revving up with its Hillary endorsement.  It devotedly went to the pre-election mat for Sinema. Nothing she has said or done mattered. The far left extremist concealed her radical and anti-Semitic past, magically transformed herself into a slimmed-down, soft-spoken, stylishly blonde aisle-crosser who deliberately hid her party affiliation and “just wants to get things done.” Her crude language currently in cold storage, Sinema is now suddenly transmogrified into an esteemed Democrat U.S. Senator representing Arizona. The newspaper, subtly acknowledging her propensity for deceit…redefines her as  “reflect[ing] the brand of 100 percent Arizona individualism,” ranking her along with other less than straight shooters, from Republicrats McCain, Sandra O’Connor and yes, Barry Goldwater to leftists Cesar Chavez and Mo Udall.

The AZ Republic is in orgasmic throes at the prospect of Sinema as a U.S. Senator. It even simultaneously published a vicious Benson cartoon mocking far more accomplished Republican U.S. Rep. Martha McSally, recently appointed to the other senate seat, to accompany the Sinematic epic.

The bizarre editorial concludes with this bit of asininity as it calls her brand of politics “revolutionary… representing a refreshing, badly needed change”:

As a senator, she’ll have the biggest stage of her political career. She’ll have the task of delivering political clout to Arizona, which has lost the senatorial longevity and gravitas of McCain and Jeff Flake. We don’t think Sinema will have any trouble making her mark with the kind of flair and substance that reflects well on Arizona – a state with a history of producing impressive public figures who write their own stories.

This April 2, 2017 post will assist our readers more fully understand the increasing intensity of the reporting distortions and psychotic duplicity that drives the failing, Hillary-endorsing Arizona Republic newspaper.

AZ GOP needs oxygen not smoke

December 24, 2018

In the recent post, “Harsh truths underscore internecine AZ GOP battles,” we touched on the internal battle raging between the establishment and conservative wings for the heart and soul of Arizona’s Republican Party.

The battle has become a full-fledged war playing out in Republican Briefs, Frosty Taylor’s well respected political go-to site. Taylor is a retired newspaper reporter who worked in the profession when integrity mattered.

The escalation is epitomized by Bruce Ash, Arizona’s Republican National Committeeman since 2007 and conservatives, who are fed up with the weak GOP control that allowed our previously bright red state to veer purple under its less than watchful eye.

In District 28, the party actively participated in the takedown of a well-qualified conservative incumbent, who was replaced by a Democrat in the General Election after the irresponsible meddling. This past November also saw myriad previously Republican statewide offices won by Democrats and the loss of a U.S. Senate seat to a bonafide radical who magically transformed herself from a onetime Green party candidate to a Democrat, albeit one who never mentioned her affiliation during the race.

Jonathan Lines was chairman when we lost a U.S.

Two former Maricopa County Chairmen Lyle Tuttle and Rob Haneyboth conservatives, have addressed this debacle in letters to Ash. He has remained mute — never according either man the courtesy of a reply. Copies of their letters appear in Briefs and can be read by clicking on their names.

The Arizona Daily Independent weighed in with this Sunday comic and accompanying article, exposing the threats that typify the instability of Bruce Ash, who is not only inept but appears to be unhinged.

When the Arizona Republican Party is in dire need of resuscitation, we are receiving smoke rather than oxygen.

The intraparty reorganization county and state meetings are fast approaching.  The Maricopa County meeting takes place Jan. 12. The statutory state meeting is Jan. 26.  New officers to guide the party forward are desperately needed. Former state chairman Robert (Mc)Graham relishes his role as the puppeteer manipulating the strings of current chair Jonathan Lines, who is running for reelection despite having overseen an unprecedented statewide Republican fail.  But Graham has a backup plan. Frank Thorwald, who works for the puppet master is waiting in the wings as ascendant of the Plan B strategy.

Dr. Kelli Ward, a former two-term state senator, is the conservative running for Arizona Republican Chairman. SRAZ supports her candidacy. Read about her and her unifying vision for the Arizona Republican Party moving forward to the 2020 elections.
