Biden confounded by volatile Russia’s Ukraine encroachment

January 31, 2022

Longtime readers of SRAZ know we are stalwart fans of Victor Davis Hanson, Ph.D., a noted author and historian, who brings clarity to the seemingly unexplainable. This recent column, “Why Putin Has Not Been Deterred,” addresses the complexities of an aggressive Russia, lead by Vladimir Putin who is emboldened against a weakened NATO in the face of Putin’s aggression against Ukraine and frail, ambivalent Joe Biden.

Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, annexed part of it, occupies another region — and now threatens further aggression against the remainder of the country. Putin knew better than to saber rattle when dealing with President Donald Trump, who exhibited strength. Disengaged Biden frightens no aggressors, which should frighten America’s citizens.

New film recreates AZ dem Sen. Mark Kelly in time for election

January 30, 2022

Two studios collaborate on documentary about Gabrielle Giffords, titled “Gabby Giffords Won’t Back Down.”

Former U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) generates sympathy for having endured a horrendous shooting at a 2011 campaign event in a Tucson grocery store parking lot. She was left with permanent disabilities from the head injury she suffered in the mass shooting that injured 13 others and killed six people, including a 9-year-old girl and U.S. District Judge John Roll.

Gifford’s husband Mark Kelly is now an Arizona U.S. Senator, with the aid of Barack Obama and George Soros’ political funding apparatus. Kelly, who voted in lockstep for the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, introduced by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), is so unpopular, former astronauts who served space missions and know Kelly well, authored and signed a letter citing his far left politics and lack of credentials. Read what Tom Stafford, Charlie Duke and Jack Lousma had to say as they endorsed Sen. Martha McSally.

Kelly won the Senate seat in November 2020 — in a special election to serve out the final two years of John McCain’s term. He is next up for reelection later this year.

National Review cites an end of November 2021 poll conducted by OH Predictive Insights — a firm run by former McCain activists —  that describes Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly’s Favorability Rating As Underwater. According to the poll, “The freshman Democrat Senator’s favorable numbers are “underwater by seven percentage points” — he is viewed favorably by 41% of Arizona voters, and unfavorably by 48%.”

In an effort to recreate Mark Kelly to make him more palatable to voters who are peeling away from him, leftist CNN Films and Time Studios are collaborating on a documentary about Gabrielle Giffords, titled “Gabby Giffords Won’t Back Down.”

The campaign assist posing as film about a medical triumph will also include interviews with Barack Obama, democrat members of the U.S. House and Senate, and of course, Giffords’ husband, Mark Kelly, who obviously needs her help.

Along with his hectic schedule, Mark Kelly found time to become a multimillionaire due to lucrative deals with China. The Federalist headlined its article, AZ Senate Candidate Mark Kelly’s Ties With China Tighter Than Previously Known.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich wrote this Newsweek commentary, “Mark Kelly, Hunter Biden and the Chinese Communist Party’s Influence,” that provides even more background on Mark Kelly and his nefarious connections.

It will be interesting to see if Kelly’s frequent absences during Gifford’s intensive treatment at a Tucson hospital and then a rehab faculty will be mentioned in the film. He was not interested in putting her ahead of his desire for celebrity status, as he spent long periods of time in Houston. Giffords was ultimately moved to a Houston hospital and later to what the Washington Post described as “Mark Kelly’s Houston home,” where she would receive 24-hour care from a homecare assistant.

AZ Republic exhibits Holocaust Remembrance Day schizophrenia

January 29, 2022

Holocaust Remembrance Day is memorialized on January 27. It is an annual observance to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust, the genocide of six million European Jews — one third of the world’s Jewish people — and millions of other victims including dwarves, gypsies and deformed individuals by Nazi Germany.

The local newspaper ran two articles about the observance. One, an Associated Press report, titled, “World remembers the Holocaust: Rising antisemitism emphasizes day’s importance.” The other, “Arizona leaders make proclamation for Holocaust Remembrance Day,” by reporter Ray Stern.

The date marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp by Allied troops in 1945. Adolph Hitler’s Nazi Third Reich constructed many such death camps, whose sole purpose was the extermination of men, women and children who were regarded as less than human by Nazis seeking an Aryan master race, although Judaism is a religion. The races are Caucasian, Mongolian and Negroid.

On November 2, 2021, Seeing Red AZ exposed the vile comparison of illegals crossing the U.S. border to Jews who had survived the mass murders of the Holocaust and made their way to Israel in the post, “AZ Republic OKs anti-Semitism in vile border comparison.”

The newspaper’s editorial board member and columnist Elvia Diaz regards illegal invaders as equal to persecuted people making their way to their homeland, the state of Israel. It’s surprising the hemorrhaging subscriptions* newspaper, which admits it hires and promotes employees on the basis of their race and gender, didn’t assign the openly anti-Semitic Elvia Dias to cover Holocaust Day.

History.com focusing on the Holocaust does a much more accurate job…minus the rabid bile spew directed at the victims.

Comply! Tyrant Fauci expands vax mandate to infants, toddlers

January 28, 2022

Having learned the techniques of creating a compliant populace from repressive governments, the Biden administration has not only imposed mandates relating to masks and vaccines in order to be employable or receive an education, but now intends to expand its base to infants and toddlers.

Actual medical authorities such as Dr. Nipunie Rajapakse, a Rochester, Minnesota Mayo Clinic pediatric infectious diseases specialist, have opposing views. “Kids who have been found to be infected seem to be having mild, if any illness at all, related to the infection. One theory is we know that there are other coronaviruses that circulate in the community and cause the common cold. And because kids frequently get colds, there is some thought that maybe some of those antibodies are providing them with some protection to this coronavirus.”

“An additional factor may relate to the fact that kids are much less likely to have other underlying health conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, lung disease or weakened immune systems than older adults,” says Dr. Rajapakse. She is, however, a child mask advocate.

In this oddly undated White House press release, Biden’s handlers reveal the administration “is implementing a six-pronged, comprehensive national strategy that employs the same science-based approach that was used to successfully combat previous variants of COVID-19 earlier this year.” It’s headlined, “Path out of the Pandemic President Biden’s  COVID-19 action plan.” The six strategies each carry a rudimentary illustration to assist those who might have difficulty reading the words. Democrats relentlessly underestimate Republican’s intelligence. Best advice?  Pass it up unless you’re a masochist.

Also included is a link to the interminable and self-congratulatory teleconference press briefing by the “White House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials,” where pontificating Dr. Tony Fauci does what he does best.

A more reliable source for information is the New York Post that expands on Tony Fauci’s latest scheme regarding triple vax dosing infants and toddlers

It’s worth your time to acquaint yourself with this reveal from a prior post:

His medical career is unimpressive. Fauci has not seen a patient since 1968 as a medical resident. After completing his residency, Fauci immediately joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a clinical associate. Though he has never treated a patient, the pint-sized Fauci did find time to hob-and-nob with the likes of Socialist George Soros and leftwing elites.* Be sure to click on this revealing photo link.

SCOTUS vacancy looms: Justice Breyer pressured to exit

January 27, 2022

Sen. Chuck Schumer, an ardent leftist, is already heaping Breyer with accolades preceding a final shove

Finally caving to extreme pressure before the midterm elections that could flip the confirming senate, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer has announced his retirement at the end of the current term in June. The handwriting is on the wall. He has outlived his usefulness.

This lifetime appointment is a high stakes escapade for the democrat powerbrokers who are keenly aware that the chances of replacing Breyer, 83, with a far leftist, decades younger justice would be impeded if they lost control of the U.S. Senate in the 2022 midterm elections.

Biden is not seeking excellence, having already acknowledged that genitalia and ethnicity top his list of qualifications. He is specifically seeking a black female, which means the only white males who would apply would be doing so to give an air of legitimacy to the skewed process.

Overseeing the selection is Biden’s chief of staff Ron Klain, the powerful man behind the curtain, who has long had a hand in other Supreme Court appointments. He was chief counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, worked for Bill Clinton as associate counsel, advising on his judicial nominations, including radical Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who stated she preferred the South African constitution to ours. Ginsburg also admitted the reason she fell asleep during then-Pres. Barack Obama’s State of the Nation speech was because she had too much too drink (brief video) which MSM newscasters found humorous. Klain also played a key role in advising Obama to fill high court vacancies with leftist Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Though you might not be familiar with Klain, he has outsized power, especially in the current administration where the president is clearly a mentally and physically impaired incompetent.

Given the state of governmental chaos, is it any wonder that 41% of voters still don’t believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election fairly? This June 23, 2021 survey by Rasmussen Reports found that 55% of likely U.S. voters support forensic audits of election results to ensure there is no voter fraud.

SCOTUS to hear race-based college admissions cases

January 26, 2022

Within two months of his inauguration, Joe Biden’s handlers began hastily reversing the Trump administration‘s policies negating the disproportionate use of race in college admissions. While the Trump administration sought a narrowly tailored use of race or even color-blind admission standards, Biden advanced the practice of using race as a principal factor in selecting students, all for achieving the insultingly illogical goals of racial equity and diversity. High grades and achievement took a back seat to race-based factors, although melanin, the primary determinant of skin pigment, is something over which none of us have any control.

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case challenging the practice of affirmative action, which factors race into college admissions. Lawsuits assert that Harvard University,* a private institution, and the University of North Carolina,* a state college, discriminate against Asian American applicants, who frequently achieve higher scores than their student counterparts.

In the Harvard case, petitioners argue that the private university’s policy unfairly disadvantages Asian-American applicants in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. In the North Carolina case, petitioners allege that the policy of the public university violates the Equal Protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Biden’s handlers indicated that his administration will aggressively promote affirmative action with his nomination of Kristen Clarke to lead the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, which oversees the department’s position on cases related to affirmative action.

Clarke was previously president of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, an organization that actively defends colleges’ use of race as a key admission factor. She is a staunch advocate of using admissions processes to achieve a student body that is more racially diverse than its applicant pool.

Don’t hold your breathe waiting for a decision on this important matter. The court is not expected to hear the consolidated cases until next term, meaning a decision is not likely until later this year or early next year, according to the informative Ballotpedia.

Bumbling Biden calls Fox WH correspondent Peter Doocy a “Stupid SOB”

January 25, 2022

Dems and RINOs don’t like having their “wisdom” questioned

Who knew that being verbally assaulted by the president of the United States would be among the perils of doing your job properly?

And back in 2017, Peter Doocy was also slammed by Sen. John McCain, who asked him “Why would you ask such a dumb question?” to a perfectly legitimate one that McCain didn’t want to answer.

Please, Joe…No!!

January 24, 2022

Dem candidates scurry away from Biden, rebuff endorsements

Joe Biden is not just plunging to previously unprecedented polling lows, he has no coattails as the midterm elections approach.

It’s clear Slo Joe doesn’t comprehend the fact that many candidates aligned with his party consider him a liability. Attempting to appear relevant, Biden finally had a press conference a year into his term.

“We’re going to be out there making sure that we’re helping all of those candidates,” Biden threatened. Exposing his lack of takers, he boasted,  “Scores of them have already asked me to come in and campaign with them, to go out and make the case in plain, simple language as to what it is we’ve done, what we want to do, and why we think it’s important.”

The “scores” go unnamed. Someone should ask Biden about the recent Virginia governor’s race upset in which Republican newcomer Glenn Youngkin triumphed over democrat former governor, longtime party operative and DNC chairman, Terry McAuliffe.

Stay home, Joe.  Maybe you can convince “Dr.” Jill to spike the diluted pablum in your sippy cup.

Kyrsten Sinema proves laissez-faire dems aren’t so tolerant after all

January 23, 2022

Former Green Party member Sinema, once adored by leftist AZ Republic newspaper now feels its wrath

If you’re seeing smoke on a no-burn day, rest assured it’s only members of the Arizona democrat party executive committee and the leftist local newspaper fuming as they vent their rage. Early Saturday, the dems passed a resolution to censure Sen. Kyrsten Sinema in advance of the party’s convention. The cause of their angst? Sinema’s vote to keep the filibuster, a senate tool that has been used effectively since 1837. The filibuster requires 60 votes to end debate and move to a final vote. It doesn’t take much to tick off the dem party elite who want absolute control over U.S. senators toting the democrat label.

In a desperate effort to achieve success, the filibuster has suddenly transmogrified into a tool to limit minority voting rights, which is nothing more than blatant deception on the part of the democrats.

Sen. Joe Manchin, a moderate, principled and popular West Virginia democrat, has partnered with Sinema on retaining the filibuster. In this 2021 Op-Ed, ”I will not vote to eliminate or weaken the filibuster,” he wrote to the Washington Post, he explains his rationale. Manchin honed his bipartisan skills as a state legislator and governor.

When Arizona Republican-elected state committeemen voted to censure John McCain in January 2014, it was an honest reaction to his repeated assaults on the party he chose to use to forward his ambitions, as we exposed in, “John McCain: Unfavorite son censured by home state GOP.” Enraged, he retaliated against the party faithful as reported by Politico.

We’ll jumble our metaphors to describe Sinema as a mixed bag of many facets. In 2018 the Hillary-endorsing Arizona Republic newspaper dubbed her “Arizonan of the Year” as we noted in “Kyrsten Sinematic theatre of the absurd.” Do yourself a favor and read it to get a complete handle on the duplicity that drives the desperately failing newspaper.

Frustrated? Pissed? Dislike Joe? Psaki advises, “Go have a margarita”

January 22, 2022

We couldn’t make this up. It’s a prime example of dem think, a blotto retreat from reality.

Jen Psaki is Joe Biden’s White House press secretary, who came to her lofty perch via the Obama administration where she was deputy press secretary with a detour at CNN.
