Direct from the White House website comes this load of double-talk from the Council of Economic Advisors.
“The President is continuing to take action, within his legal authority, to fix our broken immigration system. Today, the Administration announced a final rule that will allow spouses of certain high-skilled workers to contribute to the economy while they wait to obtain lawful permanent residence status (or a “green card”) through their employer. America needs a 21st century immigration system that lives up to our heritage as a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants—and that grows our economy. This change, as well as the other actions announced by the President this past November, will do just that.”
Sprinkled liberally throughout this piece of flagrant deception, “Taking Action to Unlock the Economic Contributions of Americans-in-Waiting,” (from which we have excerpted this paragraph) are the words “our broken immigration system.”
America’s citizens know full well our immigration system isn’t broken. The only thing “broken” is the will of Obamacrats to enforce it.
When the latest Labor statistics show Americans are still unemployed and underemployed in record numbers —- with many forced to accept lower paying jobs for which they are over-qualified —- in this still fragile economy, why import workers to compete against our own citizens?
On a good day, and trying hard, we couldn’t make this stuff up.
As you watch this video compilation, pay attention to his words as Obama said, “Ultimately, our nation, like all nations, has the right and obligation to control its border and set laws for residency and citizenship.” He was right then. He is distorting the U.S. Constitution, usurping congressional authority and corrupting our generous legal immigration process now.

Thank the liberal union members of the National Education Association and American Federation of Teachers, for intentionally dumbing down the last generation of America and allowing this deceptive Marxist to be elected.
Tragically for America, your assessment of today’s government schools (previously known as public schools) is right on the mark. Surveys show that college students have no knowledge of American history, can’t construct a sentence with saying “awesome” and often have to take remedial reading and basic math classes They can’t locate major countries on a map and cursive is no longer taught in many schools. Instead of actual knowledge they are taught Al Gore’s global warming and how to recycle. Too many parents are too busy to realize what’s going on and too few actually care. Students got a better education in the one-room schoolhouses of the past than they do with megabucks thrown into the education sewer today. Teacher pay should be based on student learning. We are losing America due to the prevalence of substandard education. Ny daughter is a teacher and is so frustrated with the system she has given thought to finding another career, but worries about leaving her students. My mother also taught. She is horrifed by the stories she hears from her grand daughter.
Ultimately none of it will matter unless we wake up—and SOON! Time is running short. As Obama fundamentally changes America, today’s majority will become the minority. We will be speaking Spanish and worshipping in the “peaceful” mosques Obama so adores. The affirmative action programs we put in place to benefit minorities will not be around for our future generations. WAKE UP! Turn off your televisions, get off your butts and get active in what’s left of the conservative wing of the Republican Party. Vote out the go-along to get-along incumbent Republicrats. Time is running out.

The Salt Lake Tribune article says most are Republicans, which is laudable. But the LDS Church is solidly pro-amnesty and does its biggest proselytizing outreach in Spanish speaking countries. Utah is a sanctuary state for Mexican illegals.

As to the vote on Loretta Lynch, it is a disappointment but not an unexpected one. The bigger question might have been why McCain veered away from Jeff the Flake and his McToady Lindsey Grahamnesty? But it’s all too obvious now with his reelection looming. He has to move to the right on this to have something to point to.

I’ve been pushing hard against illegal immigration for nearly thirty years. My approach isn’t border security, it’s called federal penitentiaries and I purpose a hard, no holds barred law that throws anyone hiring an illegal into Fed prison for 10 yrs. with absolutely no means to plea down, nor early release. Of course, use of eVerify is mandatory to, with similar penalties for not using it.
Now, on H1Bs….I am ballistic about this as I have worked in high tech for twenty plus years in several roles. Without boring everyone to years, trust me when I say H1Bs have severely depressed wages, and have reduced interest in young Americans studying STEM. (Though we still have too many, only 26% are hired into STEM jobs… partly because of H1Bs)
Now this H4EAD USCIS action allowing spouses to steal jobs is added abuse on top of the injury already applied. I moved to the Netherlands years ago to help manage the creation of a Joint Venture. The rules were that I could stay 7 yrs at reduced taxes. My wife could not work there, ever. If I stayed 1 day longer than 7 years, l had to pay all the back taxes between the normal rate and what I paid ($241,000 if I remember properly) But Big Business and the Chamber of Commerce don’t run the country like they do in the USA.
Jeff Flake, Orrin Hatch, Jason Chaffetz & Marco Rubio are all bought and paid for by Liberal Billionaires to kill American families by replacing them with lower paid Indians and Chinese. This CONgress is as corrupt as America has ever seen. Forget Obama, these RINOs do more damage to this country than a pack of California commies.

Yep…..it is a disgrace as well as I believe a misreading of the constitution for children born in USA of non citizens to be given citizenship. Why this has not directly been challenged all the way to the Supreme Court I don’t understand.

Over the centuries kings have made their OWN LAWS, and in November 2014 Obama made his own law on immigration by openly rejecting our Title 8 U.S. Code Section 1325 on immigration. He confessed to it by an acknowledgement about his executive order granting de facto amnesty to more than 5 MILLION illegal immigrants, “I just took an action to change the law.” We don’t need to “reform” our immigration … We NEED to enforce the written laws of Immigration first, and last !!
Good point. It would be good for Conservatives to look for lots of younger and newer blood in local elections because that is the future. Young people are likely to be less strident on social issues and firmer on fiscal issues. Points I agree with. We should also work to put cities, counties, and the state on a long term sustainable basis by doing away with taxpayer paid pensions and COLA’s.
Speaking of Loretta Lynch, AZ Sen. McSnake’s pick for our new attorney general – this came along in an email, and as a disclaimer I cannot vouch for the veracity or fact-checking, but it is interesting. I don’t usually post uncredited information, but this could be very important if true.
“Who exactly, is Loretta Lynch ? They have started investigating Loretta Lynch, Obama’s pick for Attorney-General and immediately they could see an interesting and unnerving connection. It appears that when Loretta Lynch started at Harvard, she co-founded an African-American only Sorority and there was only one other girl in this sorority, Sharon Malone. The name of the wife of the current, corrupt AG, Eric Holder, is Sharon Malone; and she is the sister of a known civil rights activist leader Vivien Malone –Jones…who enrolled in the…University of Alabama.
They checked the age: both were born in 1959 and both went to Harvard at the same time. There were very few African-American students in Harvard in 1977-1981, so it is rather certain that Loretta Lynch is an old college Friend of Sharon Malone, the wife of the current AG, Eric Holder!! (…) It seems that a long time college friend of Holder’s wife was picked up as a gate-keeper by Obama to continue all of the cover up actions by Holder and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, to shield Holder and Obama from criminal prosecution.”
Interesting??-Yes, and damning of true; puts an interesting note on her appointment as US Atty of New York too.

Actually very few say Ms. Lynch is unqualified and the “no vote” was more in protest to Obama’s executive actions. I think Congress would do better to let Presidents have their appointees on the job quicker and then do a much better and more thorough job on oversight. The blather at these hearings is all about posturing and money raising.
