Meluskey, a political non-entity polling at 4% exits as a slickster
Alex Meluskey, the nouveau Republican, who was previously registered as a PND (Party Not Designated) prior to entering the 2016 race for the U.S. Senate announces that he has suspended his campaign. Don’t be tempted to confuse Alex Meluskey with a selfless guy who sees he has no chance and is throwing his support to Dr. Kelli Ward, a proven conservative who can actually win. The primarily self-funded Meluskey, who has dumped nearly $710,000 of his own money — a whopping 87.1% of the total receipts — has pulled a fast one as he takes a hike. Meluskey has waited to exit until the eleventh hour two days before early Primary Election voting begins on Wednesday Aug. 3, ensuring his name remains on the ballot. He compounds that egotistical maneuver by not endorsing Dr. Kelli Ward. His classless exit includes a call to his small claque of supporters to “persist.”
Persist in what, Mr. Meluskey? Keeping John McCain in office?
Dr. Kelli Ward has received glowing coverage from numerous national sources, among them, Breitbart News, Townhall, and Conservative Review. U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert endorses Dr. Kelli Ward over John McCain, as have former Congressmen Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo. Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has given Ward her “wholehearted support.”
These nationally prominent supporters explain why the contemptible McCain supporting Grassroots Arizona PAC is flooding the airwaves with deceitful ads attacking Dr. Ward. McCain and his hangers-on are running scared. Polling shows Kelli Ward in a dead heat with McCain.
If you’ve had enough of the status quo, duplicity, back-stabbing tactics and amnesty for illegals, take a principled stand for integrity and send a fresh, new voice to Washington D.C. Vote for Dr. Kelli Ward.

Alex was first in and took the highroad to exit something neither Claire nor Ward would ever have done. He should be applauded instead of disparaged. This is a rare event when a politician keeps his word. Thanks Alex
Alex Meluskey is a pompous, walking ego. His slimy tactics expose him more clearly than any descriptions do. I’ve always believed he was connected to McCain, much as Jimmie Lee Deakin was in the previous election. These “candidates” ( Deakin, Melsusky, Van the Radio Man) are intended to take votes from a conservative who has a real chance of winning. In close elections, where a few votes can be significant they are spoilers, covertly working to keep McCain in office.
First in….means exactly what? Timing doesn’t make a great candidate. It might only indicate an implosive one.

Kelli Ward is now poised to defeat John McCain in one month.
It’s not over, but this is a Republican Primary in a historically Republican State.
This Primary is our chance to put out the trash and elect a real US Senator.
So just Remember, John McCain still has huuge name ID here in Arizona.
His Problem? Most of us Primary Republicans won’t put up with his hypocrisy anymore.
Kelli Ward polled even at 41% with McCain in a head-to-head election back in May – and the Republican “undecideds” were over 25%.
So, thanks to this sudden implosion of a “McCain Ringer” there will now be one real, qualified Republican to elect as our next Arizona US Senator.
August 3rd the ballots go out. Get the word out so no one wastes their vote on Meluskey

Good advice, William Heuisler. But remember early voting starts the day after tomorrow. By the August 30 Election Day, it’s pretty much a done deal. We now have “election month,” with more people using mail-in ballots.
It makes perfect sense that John McCain never attacked Alex Meluskey. They’re two spokes on the same wheel.
Go Kelli Ward!!! She’s the one I thank for taking on McCain and enduring the lies he’s telling about her. Oops. I mean his supportive PACs. Kelli Ward doesn’t cozy up with George Soros or Obama donors.

Just think how different our world would be if we had a truthful, Republican Platform conservative in the U.S. Senate representing AZ in Congress for the last 30 years.
We would be enforcing our borders, we would have no campaign finance laws to hinder our campaigns, and we would be drilling for oil in the U.S. without our senator blocking the efforts. We would have a more conservative Supreme Court, we could believe what our representatives told us, and the Republican Party might still be controlled by Ronald Reagan Republicans.
Bill Heuisler and i have worked in the Republican grass-roots trenches for decades and are well aware of the “good guys” and “bad guys” who inhabit the party as “Manchurian Candidates.”
John McCain has been a disgrace to the party for over 30 years. More shameful are the Republican elites who will not stand up to oppose McCain for the sake of our party and country.
