Party-switching dem preposterously compares himself to Presidents Reagan, Trump
In the movie Batman Returns, a character named The Penguin is described as a sewer-dwelling super villain intent on terrorizing the city. In Arizona politics there is a character named Rodney Glassman who has zero ability to strike fear in his many opponents, and is more aptly compared to the Energizer Bunny, the logo for Energizer batteries.
Glassman just keeps running and running. The leftist who cut his political teeth working as a D.C. staffer for radical U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva, desperately desires political office. He has run for many and lost all but one, a Tucson City Council seat, from which he resigned before finishing his first term. Commitment takes a decidedly back seat to trying to grasp any political ring. Although Glassman suddenly has embraced the term “conservative” (slippery campaign ad) and now claims to be pro-life, he welcomed an endorsement from Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider just last year. He has run for every conceivable office including U.S. Senate, though his candidacy for democrat state chairman was the most telling. Had he won that position, unprincipled Rodney Glassman would have set policy for dems up and down the ballot to undercut Republican office holders and candidates.
Glassman is the only lawyer at the Beus Gilbert McGroder law firm to be listed with the iffy term “of counsel.” All of the others are partners, associates or members.
The Phoenix New Times revealed Glassman’s appalling lack of judgment in this report, Rodney Glassman raising cash for official who could vote to appoint him Assessor.

Russell Pearce lost his job because he and Royce Flora backed Glassman.
Russell Pearce has always done a great job as a legislator and as President of AZ’s Senate and in his county positions, but he screwed up royally in backing Glassman. Royce Flora jumped on the Glassman bandwagon because Glassman paid for their joint signs on premium roadway corners and had them installed. Flora sold his soul to Glassman and got what he deserved. Conservatives who saw the joint signs were obviously turned off and Flora learned an important lesson about integrity.
Thanks for this detailed information about Rodney Glassman. I’ve read all but the last 3 links, which I’ll read during the noon hour. Today’s post needs to be sent out to our AZ email lists since Glassman is running for AZ Attorney General. We can’t afford to turn this critically important office over to a deceptive leftwinger with scant legal experience and a gigantic ego. What a combination!!
I know for a fact that his parents co-signed on Glassman’s Biltmore Estates 11,000 sf mansion with 8 garages. Maybe he thinks they can also buy him the Attorney General’s election.
Glassman is an opportunist. I can’t imagine how someone can lie with impunity with a smile on his face. This guy is dangerous.
Pro-Life is not a cloak you can put on and take off as it suits the label you decide to use at any particular time. It is a commitment. Glassman has no core beliefs. He just wants to get elected. One thing for sure, it won’t be with my vote.
